Intro:
Welcome to Reel Wolves, the Teen Wolf Movie Writing Challenge!
Have you been dying for that Ella Enchanted AU? A Grumpy Old Men fusion? A Mannequin AU (please, God, somebody do a Mannequin AU!)? Then this is the challenge for you.
The idea is simple: pick a movie and Teen Wolf’ize it with a fic or art.

Challenge Schedule
Sign-ups open: November 2 - 16, 2013
Draft submission: March 15, 2014
Posting dates assigned: March 22, 2014
Posting starts: April 2, 2014
Rules
1. Each prompt may only be claimed by one author and one artist per round (and please claim only one prompt each). Co-writing and the art equivalent is allowed. Here is a link to a gDoc of movie suggestions. Don’t see the movie you want to do on the list? No problem! Any movie that has not been made for TV is accepted.
2. Crossovers and fusions are allowed! For the purposes of this challenge, a crossover is defined as taking the TW characters and placing them within the universe of a given film and merging the two elements together.
3. Please keep the focus of your story on the elements of the Teen Wolf canon. If you have questions on what constitutes a fusion or AU, we're using these definitions. If you'd like examples of a Teen Wolf fic that fits the parameters of the challenge, send us a message or email and we'll be happy to provide you with examples.
4. Films that any of the Teen Wolf cast have been in are allowed. HOWEVER, that particular cast member cannot appear in the same role as the one they played in the movie. For example, you may write for The Internship, but Stiles can't play the role of Stewart.
4. All stories must be beta read before being submitted. Need a beta? A post will be made where people can find a beta.
5. This challenge is open to all pairings, genres, and ratings.
6. The minimum word count for this challenge is 2000 words. There is no maximum.
7. Artists of all mediums are welcome to participate. If you want to stitch a quilt that tells the tale of Troy with Teen Wolf characters, then please do. That would be pretty badass, actually. Any takers?
8. All posting will be done on Ao3. A livejournal/dreamwidth account is not required to take part in this challenge. If you feel more comfortable on tumblr or twitter, follow us there! Anonymous posting is enabled and both a livejournal and non-livejournal signup template will be available.
