Popcorn = it doesn't have enough plot and/or character development to be anything more than shallow fun. Often coincides with the *feel-good label.
Full meal = character development, and/or world-building and/or plot is sufficient to make solidly interesting story. Read this when you have a free evening and want real meat for your mind to chew on.
Three course meal = something that really, really ought to be published, because it's downright gripping in both character development and plot. Savor this.
*Feel-good means something that doesn't do anything except pile on good feelings, generally by gradually or immediately fixing all the emotional pitfalls, angst, and physical/psychological defeats in canon. No real tension. After all, defeats and losses don't create good feelings, do they? Being a feel-good fic is not necessarily bad, but it's like eating candy: best in small doses, and not very filling. The Hedonic Treadmill is a thing.

If there was one thing Tony Stark hated, it was seeing something broken but being unable to fix it. It was the closest thing to OCD he had. Just staring at something broken made his fingers twitch for a tool and his mind whirl with possibilities to fix it, to make it better. Honestly, it was annoying sometimes, the longest he had ever held out on trying to fix something was a day and by the time he had started his hands were shaking and he was sweating like a sinner in church. It was ridiculous.
It also didn't stop at inanimate objects.

This is an unfinished epic, and I do not say that lightly. Excellent character depth and evolution. Dark content abounds; the protagonists continuously grapple with pyschological and physical hurdles to keep interest high, and the fairly frequent smut somehow always adds to character growth. A fascinating dive into the psychology of the homeless, the broken, and killers. I'll say this one more time for emphasis: this is an epic, and it's the best writing in this collection. If you have the guts for it, read it. Three-course meal.

This story feels like it has barely started, but it it's already provided tremendous character development for the children at the center of this story. Naruto truly feels like a child here, with all the innate selfishness, resentment, neediness and naive joy therein. No other fic I've read does such a realistic job of portraying a child who is actively resented and almost completely cut off from positive adult figures. That Naruto discovers he can't trust the Old Man or Iruka is delicious; and the Kyuubi's unapologetic, consistently malicious personality feels far, far more real and interesting than some fluffball of a spirit fox in other fics that immediately rolls over in response to dangled sympathy. Reality isn't nearly that simple, and the author here puts in beautiful effort to put that evolving complexity on display.
Even far from finished, this is a full meal. When/if finished, definitely a three-course meal.
