There were very few things in Harry Potter's life that he was certain of. There was one absolute certainty though; he'd felt it in his bones for as long as he could remember. He, Harry Potter, was dead. The living people around him might not believe, but the dead sure did. Oh well, it doesn't impact his life much. Besides, it's nice to get help with his schoolwork from his parents.

Harry Potter was abused. Fortunately, his parents had a contingency plan for when they died and Dumbledore shipped their baby off to wizard-hating muggles. And so Harry ends up in the care of another aunt, who loves him, and nurtures him, and helps to prepare him for a world where politics is a vicious game and magic is might. It's kind of lucky, then, that Harry likes both. Perhaps he even likes a boy called Cedric Diggory.

Harry is in his thoughts a lot of the time not paying attention to his surroundings. He's hoping to have a calm year but that would be a lot to ask for. He is fourteen and should be thinking about other things than people trying to kill him, right? But he's not very good at thinking about other things.
Basically a slow burn Harry/Cedric. Harry is in a constant crisis as every bi is and needs a hug. And Cedric is a very kind gentle boy who deserves a lot of love.
