The vivid clarity of the world around himself, draped in a dark cloak of night that his enhanced eyes saw through as if it were but a thin sheet; the crisp autumn air tickling the inside of his nostrils with such saturation that it almost felt like he could taste the coming winter on the tip of his tongue. The breeze that came from this altitude tickled his bare skin, and despite its ineffectual chill against his strengthened flesh, goosebumps climbed up his neck from the tactile sensitivity he bore against its breath.
Everything felt so real, realer and fresher than it'd ever been. If that made sense, which it probably didn’t.
His senses then were just so alive that he didn’t think he could recall a time he’d ever been so… aware, of everything.

Beneath his masks, deep down where his true self hid beneath the layers of acting required to be so deep undercover, Gen Asagiri was also very, very angry.

Ladybug had been in the middle of a battle the moment her parents had been murdered and it had been the beginning of the end, in apparently more ways than one.
With her and Adrien laid up in the hospital after trying [failing] to save her mama and papa they are unable to take up the mantel of being Paris' heroes for a time, being in a coma would do that to you. Meaning that the akuma's born from those worried about them get to run wild and free long enough for the Justice League to FINALLY pull their heads out of their asses and see that 'oh, those kids playing dress up that called begging for help weren't lying'.
It was years too late in Paris' books but whatever, they're sick of climbing over rubble to get to work so may as well let them keep the akuma's busy while they cleaned up and waited for the real heroes to come back.
When Marinette and Adrien wake up they meet Red Hood and are more than willing to take the poor bird under their wing, as those who have died more days of the week than lived through them they feel like they can help him come to terms with his death and resurrection.
So, of course, they end up falling in love with the man. Thank the Kwami that he felt the same.
