Optimus lay on the floor of his berthroom, fresh energon dripping from his fresh injuries, painting the floor under his hand a bright blue color
He raised his servo above his head, inspecting them
They blend perfectly with his battle scars
Optimus turned his head to the side, his axe laying not so far from him, just an arms length away
An arms length away to form another cut, another scar
...
Optimus' servo reached out, fumbling with the handle of his axe, his vision blurring at the edges
After a minute of fumbling, his servo finally grasped his weapon, bringing it up to his already energon stained servo
... Should he really be doing this..?
A pause
He still has a team to look after, to lead
Wouldn't he be letting them down by offlining himself with the lack of energon in his circuits?
His grip faltered, pulling his weapon slightly away from his wrist, a look of exhaustion evident on his faceplate, his once bright blue optics now a dim light
His vision became blurry, and soon, a streak of warm tears ran down his faceplate
The weapon he was holding just a few seconds ago dropped to the floor with a light clang
His expression, once as stoic as their leader, now hidden from the universe between his arms and knees, curling in on himself, trying to make himself seem smaller
Like when we was still just a spark curled in the warmth of the soil of Cybertron
Light sniffles could be heard from the inside of room of their leader, yet, no one came
He needs to get up and clean his wrist and floor but Optimus is just so tired right now
Maybe when he wakes up
...
There's so much energon flowing out from his wrist though
A little nap wouldn't hurt, right?
.

.
.
He woke up
The energon dried on his wrist and floor, leaving an uncomfortable feeling when he moved his servo, the metallic smell filled his berthroom
Sitting up, Optimus looked at his desk, eyes searching for his med kit
Seeing that it wasn't there, he stood up and staggered outside of his room
He looks at the hallways, inspecting if the other members of his team were there
Seeing no movement, Optimus staggered our of his berthroom and into the washroom, still vigilant for the other mechs he was living with
He breathed a sigh of relief when he closed the door to the washroom, locking the door, he sat underneath the nearest shower and opened the faucet to let the water wash over his frame
The feeling of the water running down his frame calmed his mind, his body relaxing
Optimus closed his optics, his mind wandering back to the moments he had with his team
He rremembered when Bulkhead would show them his paintings, whether it be of them, a scenery, their homeworld, or the other organic life on earth
He remembered the races him and Bumblebee sometimes do when they got nothing but time to burn
He remembered the quiet moments had with Ratchet, the conversations they exchanged, and despite how grumpy the older mech got, Optimus knew he cared
He remembered the earth traditions Sari would show them, and let them experience it themselves
Those were fun times
He wondered if it'll stay like this forever, hopefully yes
No matter how much he misses Cybertron, he found a new home, here on Earth
...
He'll miss everyone
