Work Text:
“Don’t marry her,” Harvey whispers. His voice is heavy with liquor, the only reason he has enough courage to ask.
The wedding is tomorrow.
Tonight, Mike’s naked, between Harvey’s sheets.
Dinner was all that Harvey had planned. Suffering in silence. A celebratory drink. He never intended to end up here, desperate, begging for what he doesn’t deserve. It’s a new low, to have turned Mike into the kind of man who cheats.
For a moment, there’s silence. Wide, blue eyes stare back, impossible to read.
Mike presses him into the ruined bedding.
Kisses him softly.
And in the morning, leaves.
