Chapter 1: Episode 1: Total Fanfare

Chapter Text

We begin this crossover season with multiple shots of Soluna Island.

“Ever watch Total Drama and Disventure Camp and wonder who the bigger power players of both shows are?” Emily asked smugly as she, Chef, and Oliver could be seen walking together through the beach, “This season we’re putting that to the test.”

Emily noticed the arm cast that was still on her and immediately threw it off her gleefully.

“Twelve of Total Drama’s biggest favorites will be competing against twelve of Disventure Camp favorites but which contestants can outplay the other?” Chef asked with a mischievous smirk.

“Over the next sixty days, we’ll find out and see which type of player can win the two million dollar prize!” Oliver announced enthusiastically.

“Welcome to Soluna Island, I am your host Emily Campbell and these are my co-hosts Chef Hatchet and Oliver, and this is… Battle Of The Favorites!” Emily finished off the intro.

(After Theme Song)

We begin this season with Emily, Chef, and Oliver standing at the entrance of the island as the boat containing the Total Drama fan favorites approaches in which we see Gwen and Zoey smiling at each other, Cody beaming with excitement, Noah looking bored, Courtney and Scott giving each other awkward looks, Jo and Brick giving each other competitive glares, Sky and Dave also looked awkward at seeing each other again, Sammy looked anxious, but smiled as Jasmine gave her a reassuring gaze.

Soon enough, all twelve Total Drama contestants got off the boat to approach the hosts.

“Hey there old Total Drama veterans! Welcome to your first ever crossover season!” Chef smiled enthusiastically, “You should all be very honored to be considered fan favorites.”

“Ready to see who you’re competing against from Disventure Camp?” Emily smirked.

“Wait, so we’re all on one team?” Courtney asked worriedly.

“Yep. Considering this is our biggest season ever, you’re all on one team against the Disventure Camp favorites.” Chef explained.

Jo took a look at Scott sniffing his pits and cringed.

“Great…” Jo rolled his eyes.

“So… who’s on the other team?” Cody asked with a raised eyebrow.

His question would soon be answered in the form of a red helicopter flying above them before landing nearby.

“So glad you asked, Cody. It’s my pleasure to bring back…” Emily announced as Gwen and Zoey gave each other questioning looks, Brick looked determined, Cody gulped nervously, Courtney, Scott, and Jo glared competitively at the helicopter entrance, before the Disventure Camp contestants began exiting the helicopter.

“Alec, Fiore, Gabby, Tom, Aiden, Rosa, Lake, Ally, Natalia, Spencer, Anastasia, and somehow Benji.”

Benji was the last one to get off the helicopter as he fell onto the sand.

“Ouch… but I still made the cut.” Benji spoke in confusion as he got up while dusting himself off.

“Thank the Benjinators for that.” Emily smirked, “You all will be competing against the Total Drama Favorites.”

Confessional: Noah

“So the teams are divided based on which show we competed on? I guess that’s to be expected. Guess I’ll have to be on my A game if I want to go up against these power players but given who my teammates are… I have my doubts on how well this will go.” Noah said stone-faced.

Confessional Ends

We then cut to the team facing each other near the island entrance as Oliver spoke up.

“Welcome back everybody. Feel free to size up your competition.” Oliver offered kindly, “How are they looking?”

Zoey waved sheepishly at the Disventure Camp Favorites to which Alec raised an eyebrow.

Confessional: Alec

“As a man with nothing left to lose, if I can’t beat this lot then there truly is no hope for me.” Alec sighed miserably.

Confessional Ends

“Who’s ready for your first immunity challenge?” Emily asked happily.

“An immunity challenge already?” Brick asked in confusion.

“We don’t know a better way for a team to bond.” Chef smirked smugly, “It’ll encourage you all to start interacting with your team QUICKLY.”

Confessional: Aiden

“This is so surreal. In Season 2, I was just a fan competing on my favorite show but now I’m an actual favorite.” Aiden smiled enthusiastically.

Confessional Ends

We then cut to both teams standing on their team mats facing each other as they wore visors and safety goggles.

“Wait… I know this.” Tom said happily.

“I should hope so, because for our first challenge we’re bringing back an old favorite which is paintball capture the flag.” Emily said happily.

Everyone on Team Disventure Camp immediately started cheering while Fiore looked annoyed.

“Great…” Fiore muttered.

“The first team to bring the other team’s flag back to your team’s side wins immunity. Use paintballs, your bodies, whatever you need.” Emily announced.

“Wanna know what you're playing for? Other than immunity, the winning team gets a fully built shelter and trust me, you’ll want this.” Oliver added happily.

“We’ll give you all a few minutes to pick positions and then we’ll get started.” Chef instructed.

We then cut to the Disventure Camp team at their base as Tom led a group huddle.

“Alrighty team, here’s the plan. I’ll bring a small group with me to get the flag while the rest of you stay here and be on the look out for the other team.” Tom said happily.

“I don’t recall voting you as the leader.” Alec narrowed his eyes.

“And I don’t recall anyone asking for your opinion.” Anastasia glared at the Schemer before smiling at Tom, “Tom, carry on.”

“Thanks Anastasia. Gabs, you’re with me.” Tom said happily.

“Aye-aye, Captain Bestie.” Gabby saluted joyfully.

“Don’t think I’m letting you go without me. Hey Lake, want in on this Mini-Cyan Reunion?” Aiden asked his best friend with a playful smirk.

“How could I say no? But remember, we’re here to compete, not just have fun.” Lake reminded her friend with a kindhearted smile, “Rosa, care to join?”

“Actually, I think Rosa should guard the flag. She’s one of our more trustworthy teammates.” Tom narrowed his eyes at Alec who glared back alongside Fiore, “Everyone else, partner up! Goooooooo Disventure Camp!”

Confessional: Tom

“Without a mission or a goal, I didn’t want to return but Gabby convinced me to just play. This is my comeback.” Tom spoke confidently.

Confessional: Lake

“After my short stay in All Stars, I wasn’t expecting a call to return, but I’m so glad the fans wanted me back. And with Aiden and Rosa no less.” Lake said joyously.

Confessionals End

We then cut to the Total Drama Favorites in a team huddle as Jo immediately began speaking.

“Alright, maggots! I’m in charge of this team and here’s my plan-“ Jo commanded before Courtney scoffed.

“Uh, if anyone deserves to be the leader, it should be the person with the most experience in this game.” Courtney crossed her arms furiously.

“Yeah, and almost all of your experiences in this game have been shit.” Jo rolled her eyes with a mocking smirk, “Just let me take the reins.”

“Oh zip it. Neither of you are trustworthy enough to lead this team. I led my team quite well in Pahkitew Island and I think it’d be for the best if I lead us, so long as everyone else approves.” Jasmine spoke sternly as she got in between both girls.

“Uh… and who voted YOU as leader?” Courtney narrowed her eyes before Brick intervened.

“Jasmine merely offered to lead us, and I personally think she’d do a fine job of doing so. Anyone object?” Brick spoke up to which Sammy smiled.

“I’m cool with Jasmine leading us.” Sammy nodded in agreement to which Jasmine smiled appreciatively.

“Same here.” Sky nodded with a thumbs up.

“I’m on board.” Zoey smiled to which Gwen nodded with a smirk.

“Uggggggggh, fine. We’ll play your way.” Jo rolled her eyes in annoyance but did not object while Courtney huffed. Scott said nothing, but smirked at the display.

Confessional: Scott

“It’s Day 1 and there’s already infighting on this team that has nothing to do with me. This certainly helps my confidence in surviving elimination.” Scott snickered mischievously.

Confessional Ends

“Okay, so our best chance of winning this challenge is to send half our team on the offense and the other half on defense. Me, Sammy, Sky, Courtney, Gwen, and Zoey can take the offense, the rest of you stay here and guard the flag.” Jasmine advised her team.

“Yes ma’am.” Brick saluted with a confident smile.

“Don’t need to tell me twice.” Noah shrugged while Dave sighed in relief.

Soon enough, the ten minutes were up and the challenge began. Jasmine, Sky, Sammy, Courtney, Gwen, and Zoey ran off to get Team Disventure Camp’s flag while Tom, Aiden, Gabby, and Lake did the same for their team.

We then cut to Alec and Fiore walking together when Fiore began speaking.

“Four years and those assholes still haven’t moved on.” Fiore spoke furiously.

“We have our work cut out for us, but together we’ll find a solution. Perhaps by aligning with the newer players.” Alec began contemplating.

“Benji’s more of a liability than an ally, and I certainly don’t think the model likes you.” Fiore smirked teasingly.

“Well… there’s also the fact that Natalia has flipped on everyone she worked with.” Alec reminded the child.

“So our best bet is Spencer… who isn’t exactly Mr Popular with his castmates either.” Fiore lamented in annoyance.

“It’s still better than nothing, but just in case, we’ll also need power as leverage.” Alec instructed.

“The idol.” Fiore smirked at Alec’s subtle hinting while Gwen and Zoey could be seen hiding behind a bush.

“Or an advantage. When you can, slip aw-“ Alec clarified before he got shot in the face by Zoey while Gwen shot Fiore in the chest before she could react, sending both to the ground while the two girls ran ahead.

Alec and Fiore groggily began to stand up before running off to follow the girls but what they didn’t notice was that a dinosaur was painted on a palm tree nearby.

We then cut to Gwen and Zoey together as they found an empty space in the forest to take a breather.

“Two down and ten to go. Hopefully the other girls are doing well.” Zoey smiled enthusiastically.

“Yeah… hopefully.” Gwen smiled sheepishly to which Zoey raised an eyebrow.

“You okay, Gwen? I know it’s probably difficult seeing Courtney again.” Zoey asked in concern.

“Oh trust me, it definitely is, but I know it’s better to focus on the game. And hey, it’s not all bad, you get to see Brick again and I’m also on good terms with Cody so it’s not like we’re in hell.” Gwen reassured her friend.

“That’s the spirit.” Zoey said happily, though Gwen still looked sheepish.

We then cut to Ally and Benji walking together as Ally tested her paintball gun on a coconut tree to which it flew off on impact.

“And who said first person shooters couldn’t improve hand-eye coordination?” Ally asked, pleased with herself.

“Here I studied forest craft thinking the first challenge would be shelter building.” Benji giggled.

“Still an excellent choice.” Ally gave a thumbs up, “One of my favorites.”

“I know. Uh, I mean I know because I’m subscribed to your channel.” Benji smiled back.

“Really?” Ally asked in elation.

“Yeah. So-“ Benji began speaking before a paintball smacked Benji right in the face. Ally gasped but before she could do anything, two more paintballs fired at her back and sent her on top of Benji.

“Ha! Might wanna keep quiet next time, you two!” Jasmine taunted as she, Sky, and Sammy ran ahead of the two geeks.

“You gotta be kidding me! We have to follow them.” Ally stood up with narrowed eyes as she helped up Benji, who nodded before chasing after them.

As Jasmine, Sammy, and Sky ran further ahead, Sammy decided to make conversation.

“I kinda feel bad for shooting Ally and Benji down like that. They were pretty rootable back in All Stars and Carnival Of Chaos.” Sammy smiled sheepishly.

“No arguments there, but their loss is our gain and we definitely need the wins with a dysfunctional team like ours’.” Sky spoke in determination.

“Agreed. Speaking of which, I was gonna ask later, but what would you girls think about making an alliance? We’re pretty out of our element due to competing with old Total Drama players and that’s not even accounting for the Disventure Camp team.” Jasmine asked kindly.

“I’m totally on board with that.” Sammy said happily before turning to Sky, “What about you, Sky?”

“Sounds good to me.” Sky nodded.

Confessional: Sky

“I’m glad to have an alliance with Jasmine and Sammy on Day 1. They’re great people.” Sky said happily before getting nervous, “But I know that they’ll always prioritize each other over me, and with Dave being back in the game, who knows how safe I’ll be. I’ll stay loyal to the girls, but I do need to branch out.”

Confessional Ends

We then cut to Courtney storming across the woods in annoyance.

“Stupid team… I should be the leader, not Jasmine.” Courtney grumbled under her breath, “Dealing with Scott, Gwen, and Zoey is already gonna be a train wreck but they just had to take leadership from me t-“

Before Courtney could continue her grumbling, she was suddenly shot down by a paint bullet.

“Girl, you yap quite a lot. And coming from me, that’s saying something.” Natalia smirked playfully as she stood before the overachiever.

“Oh spare me the sass.” Courtney argued back before trying to get up but Natalia just shot another paint bullet at her, making her fall down again.

“I can do this all day.” Natalia snickered to which Courtney gave the camera a dull look.

Confessional: Courtney

“As if dealing with past grudges wasn’t going to be enough… the Disventure Camp team is full of nuisances. Just my luck.” Courtney facepalmed.

Confessional: Natalia

“Yup, Natalia Baez is back and here to win. No more flipping and messy gameplay. I’m taking my time shopping for alliances this time, even if most of them are already in cliques. Good thing I always find a way.” Natalia smirked playfully.

Confessionals End

We then cut to Dave sitting miserably on his team’s chair where the yellow flag was placed as Brick and Jo stood in front of him while Scott, Cody, and Noah were guarding the forest.

“Hey. You okay, sir?” Brick asked with a raised eyebrow.

“I’m fine. Being here just brings back a lot of uncomfortable memories.” Dave admitted solemnly.

“You mean like how you went totally psycho in your season’s finale?” Jo asked bluntly.

“Jo! Have some tact!” Brick crossed his arms firmly.

“No, she does have a point. That finale was a massive mess.” Dave admitted sheepishly, “I just hope I can end this season on a high note this time around.”

“Well focus on the flag and you probably will.” Jo rolled her eyes.

“I… can’t argue with her this time.” Brick smiled sheepishly to which Dave chuckled.

“Nah, she’s right. Thanks though.” Dave smiled gratefully to which Brick smiled back.

Meanwhile, Scott smirked at Noah and Cody as they stood together.

“So I think all three of us can agree Jasmine assigned us as defense with Jo and Brick because we’re the de facto weaker links, right?” Scott asked with a roll of his eyes.

“Gee, how EVER did you come to such a brilliant conclusion?” Noah asked snarkily while Cody looked sheepish.

“It’s not the nicest feeling, I’m not gonna lie… but it helps the team, right?” Cody argued nervously.

“Does it help us in elimination, though? We’ll be easy pickings.” Scott argued firmly to which Cody and Noah looked at each other in worry.

“So you want an alliance?” Noah raised an eyebrow.

“Yup.” Scott nodded.

“I guess it wouldn’t be the worst idea. Let’s just focus on-“ Cody began speaking before a paintball hit the back of his head much to Scott and Noah’s horror as Tom, Aiden, Gabby, and Lake showed up to their base and began forming some sort of group anime pose in such a cringe manner that the author has no interest in describing, much to the Total Drama Favorites’ confusion.

“What the hell are they doing?!” Dave asked, cringing at the sight.

“Who cares?! Fire the paintball guns!” Jo commanded before she, Brick, Scott, and Noah began firing their paintballs to which Tom, Gabby, Lake, and Aiden did backflips to avoid them… well, Aiden ended up getting shot in the chest and fell to the ground but Tom quickly brought him back up.

“Gabby! Maneuver A-1-13!” Tom spoke confidently.

“My favorite! Aiden, NOW!” Gabby cheered before Aiden nodded firmly and kneeled forward for Tom to run towards him.

“I shouldn’t have volunteered for this…” Aiden gulped before Tom leaped on top of him and leaped off of him, making Aiden faceplant on the ground and soar above Scott and Noah before landing on top of Brick and Jo, grabbing the yellow flag away from Dave who was too mortified to react, and passing it to Gabby.

“GET HER!!!” Scott roared to which he and Noah began chasing Gabby and firing paintballs at her.

“Gabby! Pass it to me!” Lake called out before Gabby did just that to which Lake caught the flag and began running further away from Scott and Noah’s firing range.

“Goddammit!” Scott grumbled.

“I swear, if we lose due to that cringe fest, I will be PISSED!” Noah crossed his arms in annoyance.

“Hey! That was NOT cringe! We worked hard on that maneuver!” Tom crossed his arms.

“Did you also have to do that anime pose?” Noah asked coldly to which Tom, Gabby, and Aiden looked away awkwardly, “Thought so.”

We then cut back to Lake running towards her team’s base before panning over to Spencer and Anastasia guarding Rosa who was sitting on the chair with a purple flag.

Confessional: Spencer

“Last time my gameplay was… erratic to put it mildly. This time, I’ll need to be smarter and quieter in my approach, like Jade.” Spencer smirked proudly.

Confessional Ends

We then see that Gwen and Zoey were hiding behind a tree taking aim towards Rosa and Anastasia in which Anastasia noticed Rosa’s despondent look.

“Everything alright?” Anastasia asked in concern.

“I got eliminated because of a challenge like this.” Rosa sighed miserably.

“Yes, but that was because of Riya who is no longer here. Besides, this time you have me helping you.” Anastasia smiled reassuringly.

“I appreciate it but I can handle-“ Rosa began speaking before she was shot down by a paintball which caused Anastasia to start firing in the direction that shot Rosa but she failed to notice Zoey grab the flag and run off.

“Not sorry!” Zoey called out giddily as she continued running, “Nice job, Gwen. Cover me while I-“

She was unfortunately interrupted by Spencer surprise shooting her to the ground as he stood near a tree with a smug smirk.

“Thought you could pull a fast one on me?” Spencer asked smugly as he approached Zoey who shot a playful smirk.

“On you? I’d never.” Zoey dramatically put a hand over her head, and before Spencer could turn around, Gwen shot him from behind before grabbing the flag from Zoey and running.

“Run Gwen!” Zoey cheered.

“Oh no you don’t!” Anastasia growled as she chased after the goth.

Confessional: Rosa

“Anastasia’s offer to help was generous but what I needed was not to be distracted.” Rosa spoke firmly.

Confessional Ends

We then cut to Gwen and Lake running across each other as they tried their best to outrun each other to their team’s bases. It was close but Anastasia did not take any chances as she leaped to tackle Gwen just long enough for Lake to return to her team’s base.

“And the Disventure Camp Favorites win!” Emily announced happily to which the DC Favorites immediately began cheering in excitement.

Confessional: Aiden

“Me, Tom, Lake, and Gabby remain the dream team. Hello new Cyan alliance.” Aiden spoke smugly.

Confessional: Jasmine

“Well shit… this loss is certainly gonna give Courtney and Jo some ammo.” Jasmine sighed in annoyance.

Confessionals End

We then cut to the teams standing at the beach in front of Emily and Chef as they threw both teams a map.

“Follow these to your campsites where you’ll find a pot and a machete waiting for you. Disventure Camp Favorites, you’ll also find your new shelter waiting for you.” Chef said happily, “Total Drama Favorites, have fun building one.”

“And before anyone asks, there is an immunity idol this season on each campsite.” Emily added smugly to which Alec and Fiore smirked at each other while Courtney, Jo, and Scott all narrowed their eyes in intrigue, “But first, Total Drama Faves, I’ll have mercy on you. Choose one player from each team to go on a journey.”

“What kind of journey?” Cody asked with a raised eyebrow.

“As if we’d spoil the surprise.” Chef spoke smugly.

The Total Drama Favorites looked at each other suspiciously before a voice piped up.

“Meh, I’ll go on the journey.” Dave raised his hand making Sky widen her eyes.

“Sh-Shouldn’t we decide as a group… I mean, we are a team after all.” Sky smiled nervously to which Dave gave her a blank stare.

“I’m pretty sure everyone would advocate for themselves in that case, but if any of you have any objections, I’d love to hear them.” Dave snarked to which Jasmine glared at the neat freak.

“If Dave wants to do it, I say we let him. He made the first call.” Brick spoke in defense of Dave.

“I surprisingly agree with Brick for brains. If he wants to do it, no use stopping him.” Jo shrugged.

“And which Disventure Camp Favorite are you sending?” Emily asked as Dave stood in front of her with a smug look.

The Total Drama Favorites immediately huddled up to strategize.

“Okay, so this journey has to have some sort of twist to it. In that case, we should send someone who can cause the most friction from being put on this journey no matter what.” Scott whispered.

“So Alec, basically. He’s obviously the least popular of the Disventure Camp Favorites.” Gwen suggested.

“Guess that’s our best choice in that case.” Noah shrugged.

Soon enough, the huddle broke apart in which Jasmine smirked.

“We’re sending Alec.” Jasmine confirmed to the host in which Alec and Fiore smirked while Aiden, Tom, and Gabby glared at the duo.

“There’s a boat waiting for you. Disventure Camp Faves, enjoy the night. Total Drama Faves, enjoy figuring out your first boot.” Emily smirked.

Soon enough, we cut to Alec and Dave on a deserted island in which they both got off the boat before seeing a scroll on a podium.

“To the better liar goes the spoils.” Alec read off the podium.

“Interesting.” Dave tapped his chin in intrigue before Alec noticed red paint drip down before looking up to see a coconut bowl with red paint on a palm tree just above them.

“Dave… how important are your clothes?” Alec smirked mischievously.

“I’m not blind, Alec. I see the paint bowl. If you want that scroll, it’s all yours’. Just don’t cry if the paint gets in your hair.” Dave scoffed to which Alec widened his eyes at how easily he figured him out.

“No need to be a drama queen.” Alec rolled his eyes as he grabbed the scroll, bracing himself before he was doused in red paint.

“Blegh!!! Ugh!” Alec groaned to which Dave snickered, making Alec glare at him.

Confessional: Alec

“A ‘Steal A Vote’ advantage. Exactly what Fiore and I needed… and all it took was putting up with that INSUFFERABLE brat…” Alec groaned as he rolled up the scroll after reading it.

Confessional Ends

We then cut back to the Disventure Camp Favorites’ camp in the sunset hour as Alec bitterly sat next to Fiore who was sitting by Aiden, Tom, Gabby, Benji, and Ally.

“That obnoxious little shit tripped me up to get the advantage and LEFT ME LIKE THIS!” Alec growled furiously before whimpering, “Now look at my hair…”

“Oh no. The smart and handsome Alec got betrayed.” Aiden spoke dramatically before smirking, “How tragic.”

Gabby and Tom immediately laughed at Aiden’s remark while Benji and Ally just felt awkward as Alec stormed off to wash off with Fiore following him.

“God, it’s so fun seeing Alec actually struggle for once. Maybe it’ll finally humble him.” Tom chuckled.

“Didn’t he already get humbled back in All Stars?” Benji asked with a raised eyebrow, “He was basically on his knees begging for Connor to forgive him.”

“First of all… pause.” Aiden spoke dully before smirking, “Second of all, it doesn’t make seeing Alec so vulnerable any less satisfying. As long as no one makes any sudden flips, I’m sure Alec and Fiore are good as gone.”

Ally noticeably looked uncomfortable at Aiden’s remark about flipping but she just laughed sheepishly before standing up.

“I’m gonna go find food for the night.” Ally smiled nervously before walking off to which Benji, Tom, and Gabby looked concerned.

“Guys, she’ll be fine. She knows I was just messing with her.” Aiden rolled his eyes.

“You still hit a pretty sore spot, Aiden. You know as well as we do that Ally has her regrets about how she acted in All Stars.” Tom replied uncomfortably.

“Ally has thick skin. She can handle a bit of teasing.” Aiden defended himself before smiling, “We’re still chill at the end of the day, that’s what matters.”

Benji still looked concerned as he looked towards the direction Ally left while no one noticed Spencer spying on this scene behind a rock formation with a devious grin.

Confessional: Spencer

“Seems like Aiden hasn’t learned from his mistakes in terms of being a loudmouth. Tragic for him, but excellent for me.” Spencer smirked.

Confessional: Benji

“I get what Aiden means about making jokes, but… Ally didn’t seem to find that joke funny.” Benji said awkwardly.

Confessionals End

We then cut to Rosa Maria trying to use flint and a machete to make a fire, but clearly she was struggling.

“C’mon… c’mon.” Rosa whimpered before Lake walked over to her in concern.

“Rosa, are you alright?” Lake asked worriedly.

“Oh me, I’m fine. Weren’t you going to help Tom and Aiden hunt for dinner?” Rosa asked with a nervous smile.

“Yes, but it looks like you need help.” Lake nodded.

“Oh, I’m good.” Rosa spoke quickly.

“Are you sure?” Lake asked skeptically.

“Yes, don’t let me keep you.” Rosa reassured her.

“If you say so…” Lake raised an eyebrow before walking off to which Anastasia noticed Rosa’s clear distress before walking over to her, seeing she was still struggling before taking the flint.

“Hey!” Rosa cried out in annoyance.

“Here, let me help.” Anastasia offered kindly.

“I don’t need help, I know how.” Rosa scoffed.

“Please spare me the denial. You obviously don’t know but that’s okay.” Anastasia spoke reassuringly.

“Fine, but only because I want to be warm tonight.” Rosa sighed as she handed Anastasia the machete.

“Ready to learn?” Anastasia asked playfully.

“Yes.” Rosa smirked back before Anastasia slashed the machete over the flint, allowing a fire to grow making Rosa cheer.

We then cut back to the Total Drama Favorites’ camp in which a campfire was already set up. Brick noticed Dave returning and immediately patted a seat on the log next to him which Dave sat on.

“So… what happened on that trip?” Brick asked with a kind smile.

“We ended up doing a mini-challenge for better camping supplies. I lost, but Alec got covered in paint.” Dave lied with a smirk.

“Ha! Good riddance, I say. About time he gets his just desserts for his child neglect.” Jo smirked proudly.

“I’m surprised you feel so strongly about that.” Gwen admitted with a shocked raised eyebrow.

“Hey, I’m not THAT heartless.” Jo shrugged.

We then cut to a bit later as Jasmine, Sammy, and Sky could be seen in an isolated area in the woods as they were discussing the elimination.

“Alright, it’s a bummer we lost, but I doubt it’s all gloom and doom. Courtney and Jo made the most fuss today so I think one of them should be our target.” Jasmine suggested.

“Courtney might be our best bet. Gwen, Zoey, Scott, Noah, and Cody all likely have past grudges with her so getting them on board should be easy.” Sky offered.

“Sounds like a good idea to me. We may as well let Brick in on this plan since he did at least vouch for me.” Jasmine added.

“Fair enough. You go talk with Brick, and I’ll search for Gwen, Zoey, Cody, and Scott.” Sky said happily to which Jasmine and Sammy nodded in agreement.

Confessional: Sky

“I definitely need some alone time with the others to build up some social credibility on this team. I had Jasmine and Sammy talk to Brick because I saw him talking to Dave so talking to Brick might be too awkward…” Sky admitted sheepishly.

Confessional Ends

Soon enough, we cut to Sky in a private area in the forest with Scott, Noah, Cody, Gwen, and Zoey standing in front of her.

“And that’s the plan. You guys on board?” Sky smiled optimistically to which Zoey nodded.

“I definitely feel bad for her, but Courtney really isn’t gonna be doing us any favors if she sticks around. I’m cool with her going.” Zoey smiled back.

“Me too.” Cody nodded in agreement as he shuddered, “She’s way too nasty for my tastes.”

“I don’t see why not.” Scott shrugged casually with Noah nodding in agreement as both noticed Gwen looking hesitant before the goth spoke up.

“Y-Yeah, sounds good.” Gwen smiled nervously in which Cody and Zoey noticed the goth’s hesitation but didn’t say anything.

“Perfect. It sucks that we lost the challenge but at least we got an easy vote out of this.” Sky said happily before walking off with Zoey smiling her way before noticing Gwen wander off to which she followed. Cody was about to do the same before Scott grabbed his shoulder.

“We CAN’T let Courtney get eliminated.” Scott said sternly.

“Why not? It’s an easy vote.” Cody raised an eyebrow in confusion.

“Exactly, it’s too easy. Especially for Sky, Jasmine, and Sammy. They’re clearly a tightly knit unit if this whole plan is anything to go by. The best way to ensure we don’t get picked off is by going for one of the big dogs which in this case is Jasmine.” Noah argued in favor of Scott’s point.

“Isn’t she our team leader?” Cody asked skeptically.

“Correct. I know a fractured team has its risks, but the extra chaos keeps a target off our back for a good while. You want to win this time, don’t you?” Scott narrowed his eyes as Cody looked sheepish.

Confessional: Cody

“Ugh… I know Scott isn’t that trustworthy, but he makes a good point.” Cody sighed miserably before smiling sheepishly, “Well… if there’s any solace in this situation, it’s the fact that I at least have some positive history with Noah, so there’s some benefit to being in this alliance other than strategy…”

Confessional Ends

We then cut to Jo doing pull-ups on a tree branch before Scott walked over to the Jockette.

“So Sky just talked to me, Gwen, Zoey, Cody, and Noah earlier about the vote.” Scott spoke sternly, “I think you might wanna hear me out.”

Jo immediately let go of the branch and landed on the ground while wiping her hands clean.

“Ugh, this better be good, dirt boy.” Jo rolled her eyes.

“Sky, Jasmine, and Sammy are going around convincing people to vote for Courtney tonight for her nasty attitude today.” Scott elaborated.

“Okay, why does that concern me?” Jo scoffed.

“Remind me who else challenged Jasmine’s leadership?” Scott spoke smugly to which Jo’s eyes widened before she facepalmed.

“Shit…” Jo muttered.

“Don’t worry, Jasmine’s way too big of a physical and social threat to keep in the game. Just get Dave on board and I’ll take care of the rest.” Scott reassured her.

“Why him?” Jo asked skeptically.

“Dude’s not exactly popular with the Pahkitew players. If anything, he’ll definitely jump at the opportunity to save himself.” Scott explained.

“Good point.” Jo conceded in defeat, “Just make sure you know what you’re doing.”

“Don’t worry, I always do.” Scott said reassuringly before walking off.

Confessional: Jo

“I definitely don’t trust Scott, but considering how shitty my team lineup is, I have no choice but to hope he’ll come through. He certainly is a better choice for an ally than some of these rejects.” Jo said in annoyance, “Can’t really tell Brick about this plan though, especially since he supported Jasmine’s leadership.”

Confessional Ends

We then cut to Zoey and Gwen walking together as the former looked concerned for the latter.

“You okay, Gwen?” Zoey asked in concern.

“Yeah, I’m fine. I know I should be happy that Courtney is in a prime position to be eliminated, but I can’t help feeling a little hesitant… we were friends at some point after all.” Gwen explained solemnly.

“I know what you mean, but that friendship was toxic. Even I get along better with Scott than you did with Courtney… no offense of course.” Zoey said sheepishly.

“None taken.” Gwen chuckled, “But your cast literally has a group chat from what you told me so it’s not hard to imagine you squashed your beef with Scott.”

“Doesn’t really go against my point.” Zoey shrugged amicably.

“I know… maybe I’m just a bit upset about losing out on what could’ve been… y’know.” Gwen said sadly.

“I can definitely understand that, but I’m still here and I’m not going anywhere.”  Zoey reassured the goth before they embraced. After they parted, they turned to see Cody coughing into his hand for attention.

“Uh… hey. I just wanted to discuss an alternate target. I think it might be worth your while.” Cody smiled nervously to which Gwen and Zoey raised an eyebrow at each other.

Soon enough, we cut to the Total Drama Favorites walking to the elimination ceremony before Scott pulled Courtney aside much to her annoyance.

“What is it, Scott?” Courtney grumbled in annoyance.

“Your name came up tonight, vote for Jasmine and you’ll be safe.” Scott whispered harshly.

“How do I know this isn’t a trick?” Courtney asked stubbornly.

“Because we’re not exactly the most popular members of this team.” Scott said stone-faced to which Courtney wanted to argue with, but sighed.

“Look, I moved on from the chart incident. Trust me when I say that you are the LAST person I want gone right now.” Scott said firmly as he walked ahead of her, leaving Courtney alone to ponder.

We then cut to the elimination ceremony where the Total Drama Favorites sat on logs in front of Emily.

“Who’s ready to participate in Disventure Camp’s most famous elimination method?” Emily asked smugly.

“I mean… we’ve all cast votes before.” Noah raised an eyebrow inquisitively.

“Yeah, but other than rare occasions, have you ever had them be read out consistently?” Emily asked with a pointed smirk to which Noah shrugged.

“Fair point.” Noah admitted.

“I’m sure you all know how this works, make your way to the voting booth and write down the name of who you want eliminated. Get voting.” Emily sing-songs.

Voting: Courtney

Courtney wrote her vote down with a cold look in her eyes.

Voting: Scott

Scott wore a confident smirk as he deposited his vote in the urn.

Voting: Cody

Cody looked a bit nervous but put his vote in the urn.

Voting: Jasmine

Jasmine confidently put her vote in the urn.

Voting: Sammy

Sammy looked almost giddy as she wrote her vote down.

Voting: Brick

Brick looked remorseful but he wrote his vote down.

Voting: Noah

Noah had a blank look as he deposited his vote.

Voting: Gwen

Gwen looked reluctant at first but eventually wrote her vote down.

Voting Ends

“Once the votes are read, the decision is final. If anyone wants to play an idol, now’s the time.” Emily asked happily but no one made any movements, “No. Then let’s get started.”

“First vote… Courtney.”

Courtney crossed her arms in annoyance.

“Courtney.”

Courtney huffed.

“Jasmine.”

Jasmine rolled her eyes, clearly unphased by the vote.

“Jasmine. That’s two votes Jasmine, two votes Courtney.”

Jasmine looked a little confused but shrugged it off while Courtney glared at her.

“Courtney.”

Courtney rolled her eyes.

“Courtney. That’s four votes Courtney, two votes Jasmine.”

Courtney gave a worried look towards Scott’s direction but he just gave her a wink.

“Jasmine.”

Jasmine began to raise an eyebrow while Sammy and Sky looked worried.

“Jasmine. That’s four votes Jasmine, four votes Courtney, and only four votes left.” Emily announced as Jasmine began to look nervous while Sammy placed a hand on hers to comfort Jasmine.

“Jasmine.”

“Crikey…” Jasmine muttered in disbelief while Scott and Noah shared a secret fist bump.

“Jasmine.”

Jasmine rolled her eyes, realizing what was coming while Sky and Sammy looked defeated.

“First person voted out of Battle Of The Favorites is…” Emily dragged out before flipping the last ballot, “Jasmine. Seven votes are enough. It’s time for you to go.”

Courtney sighed in relief while Jasmine glared at her teammates minus Sammy, Sky, and Brick.

“You all seriously sided with this spoiled brat?!” Jasmine asked incredulously, “I was the reason we almost won today.”

“Exactly. Almost, but not good enough.” Jo spoke smugly to which Jasmine growled in annoyance but was interrupted by Sammy tearfully embracing her to which she was surprised by, but immediately returned.

“Guess our time together was cut short once again.” Sammy sighed sadly.

“If there’s one positive to come from this, at least it wasn’t you this time.” Jasmine smiled back, “I’m rooting for ya, Sammy before turning towards Sky and Brick, “That goes for you two as well.”

“We’ll miss you, ma’am.” Brick said with a solemn smile.

“Take care.” Sky said with a friendly smile.

“Good luck on this team, because clearly with this lot, you’re gonna need it.” Jasmine said kindly as she gave a glare to the rest of her team before walking away from the ceremony and to the direction of the Boat Of Losers.

Confessional: Sammy

“There goes my best friend in the first goddamn ceremony…” Sammy grumbled as her eye twitched a little before taking a deep breath, “Well… I guess that means I just have to socialize with my team better.”

Confessional: Sky

“Jasmine leaving on Day 1 definitely sucks for my game, especially considering I was one of the only few to not vote for her, but I see why she was targeted so quickly.” Sky sighed solemnly before adding, “If there is a bright side to this, I won’t have to worry about Sammy needing to choose between us since she’d obviously prioritize Jasmine so… I guess the small pros are better than nothing.”

Confessional: Dave

“Jo made me aware of the plan to vote for Jasmine, and honestly… I completely see the benefits in eliminating her. If not for an auto-elimination, she would’ve likely won our season instead of Shawn. I feel bad for leaving Brick out of the plan and ripping Sammy away from her best friend… but I had no better choice.” Dave said neutrally.

Confessional: Courtney

“That could’ve ended REALLY badly if Scott hadn’t intervened. It’s nice to know he moved on from the whole chart fiasco. Maybe it’s time to reignite our old alliance at the very least.” Courtney smiled gratefully.

Confessional: Zoey

“I wanted Courtney gone, but Cody wasn’t wrong about Jasmine being a social and physical powerhouse. Besides… I don’t think Gwen wanted to vote for her yet.” Zoey said uncomfortably.

Confessional: Brick

“First day and I’m on the wrong side of the vote… not a good start.” Brick sighed solemnly before smiling, “Well… I still have some level of social capital with Dave and Jo so hopefully I can at least get some answers from them on what happened.”

Confessional: Noah

“Much to my benefit, Scott managed to turn the tides against Jasmine but he also basically painted himself as the mastermind of this blindside.” Noah smirked smugly, “Now all the blood will fall on his hands if Brick, Sky, and Sammy end up trying to retaliate over Jasmine’s departure. Scott can pat himself on the back for this move now, but he’s given me some excellent leverage to work with.”

He ended his confessional with a mischievous chuckle.

Confessionals End

We then cut to the boat parking Jasmine at another island as she walked through a hallway of dimly lit torches before noticing a sign pointing in different directions, one of them leading to Rescue Island and the other leading to the Losers Motel.

“So they brought back Rescue Island, huh? Do they honestly expect me to give up so soon? How hilarious.” Jasmine chuckled good naturedly before taking a torch and going towards Rescue Island.
