Daigo Dojima, a 20 years old young man who haven’t had an easy life, had been born into the biggest yakuza organization in the country. He had been born carrying the burden of being Dojima's son, and everyone expected great things from him. Since he was little he had felt that pressure, and almost no one approached him without wanting something in return except for Kazuma Kiryu who played with the little Daigo as much as he could and teach him how to behave among other things. Things had taken a turn for the worse for him , he was now 20 years old and two years ago he knew that Kiryu killed his "father" and then they put him in jail, The man he considered a hero the closest thing to a real father, had committed one of the gravest crimes in the yakuza organization killing a patriarch Because of that and the pressure he felt over his last name, he had fallen into depression. He went around to every bar, drowning himself in every drink available, and went to hostess clubs even though he didn't even like women it wasn't his style but he keep his mind busy… Between that and the weight of inheriting the clan, he wasn't handling it well at all. But what he didn't know was that on this very night, his tragic life was about to change for the better.
Meanwhile Yoshitaka Mine was the same age , he was a poor orphan who never had anything or anyone to he could trust. When his adoptive father dies he was left alone with nothing and no one for him so he swore he would found a company to make money and get everything he always wanted. Money was everything to him it was the only thing he could trust wealth, fame, power that's what the only things in his mind. He was in the process of becoming the CEO of his own company, but he still had to keep working at his current job, which wasn't going well with his coworkers quite the opposite, actually , every time he trusted someone they stabbed him in the back. One night, after leaving work, he bumped into someone who would change his life completely.
"I'm leaving" —said Daigo, tired of being at the hostess club surrounded by girls who gave him nothing and four fanboys who would decided to follow him around because of his last name—
"Aniki, you're leaving already?"

And the bigger question, why was he going to go deal with this guy's bullies of his company? It wasn't his problem…right? While he was asking himself all these questions, the taxi arrived at its destination.
"We've arrived, sir”
"Thanks, keep the change" —said Daigo, handing the driver money and getting out to help Mine—

But he felt happy Mine made him happy and he was going to try to protect that happiness, for himself and for Mine…maybe this would be the start of taking care of himself and trying to distance himself from that black future stained by his last name.
