Summary:
Miroku has scandalized half of the women across three provinces. With pride.
Only, he didn't realize that a girl from the future would out-scandalize him without even trying.

Notes:
This is a standalone piece, but could easily fit in sometime way before The Ones Who See—inspired by a scene in Ch. 4 where Miroku recounts the early days of him traveling with Inuyasha and Kagome, pre- Sango.

Disarmed
There had been sparks. Once. Long ago, in the early days, before Sango had joined them and tipped the company toward its present arrangement of pairs — back when it had been only the four of them on the road. And if anyone had asked Miroku when precisely it had begun, he could have told them to the hour. It had begun the night the fever took him, and it had begun, specifically, with a thermometer.
His hand, of course, had opinions much earlier than that. His hand always did.
