Summary:

Regulus Black doesn't do sentiment. He does spreadsheets, brake times, and a withering stare that can lead to even team principals stumbling for their words. Ice-cold, allergic to small talk. -until Ferrari's most beloved, most chaotic driver spends four months badgering the team principal just to get Regulus as his race engineer.
James Potter is everything Regulus isn't: warm, reckless, adored by literally everyone. He's also been best friends with Regulus's brother making him a permanent fixture in Regulus's life whether Regulus likes it or not. (Regulus does not like it. Regulus is lying.)
Now they're on the same side of the garage for a season or until Regulus rips his eyes out- whichever comes first, and James has decided "professional distance" is a personal challenge. Lap by lap, the wall Regulus spent his whole life building starts to crumble -and not even his precious data saw it coming.
