“Im heading home”
Reo turns around to see Nagi lying on the grass, dozing off into the sky. They had just ‘finished’ soccer practice but Reo, as usual, wanted to fit in some more.
Reo walks over to Nagi and kneels down to him, studying his relaxed features before snapping out of it.
“Come on treasure..10 more minutes!”
“Noo..too much of a hassle..”
By now, Reo is sitting down on the grass with Nagi’s head in his lap. As Reo glides his fingers through Nagi’s soft white hair, admiring how— god what is he thinking.. Snap out of it! Reo moves his hand to touch Nagi’s face but instantly notices how much warmer his skin is than usual.
Reo frowns. “Nagi, you good?”
Upon hearing Reo’s voice Nagi finally opens his eyes. “I wanna go home..in my bed”
Reo lets out a sigh as in he is giving in and kneels down, now so that Nagi can get on his back. Nagi gets on Reo’s back and he feels more limp than usual..something's up and he can tell.
“Nagi, you sure you're okay? you seem..”
Nagi buries his face into the crook of Reo’s neck, nuzzling like a cat. “Mmh..Reo im fine really..” Nagi continues to breathe in Reo’s scent like it’s his last breath. He can hear the way Reo’s breath hitches and his checks warm.
It makes his stomach flip and want to.. but he just feels so weak right now. He’s not sure why.. So he just enjoys the warmth of his Reo for now..
The next time Nagi opens his eyes they are already in front of his house. And unfortunately, Nagi has to hop off of Reo’s back. As much as he wants to tell Reo “please..come inside with me..stay.”
But he just settles for a “see you tomorrow boss..”
He sees Reo flash him a smile..a beautiful, warm smile. The smile that makes his day a little bit better each day.
Now it’s about 9:08pm. And Nagi feels..cold. Or..even freezing. Which is quite odd for him. Although he is under his blankets wearing a hoodie. But although he feels unbearably cold, his skin feels hot. Burning. Making him sweat.
Nagi winces as he gets up so he can throw on a tshirt despite his freezing state. By the time he gets a t-shirt on, he has already fallen twice and has a grumbling stomach. He feels dizzy. As much as he wants to text his Reo..he doesn’t wanna be a bother. Or embarrass himself. So he just goes to bed.
By the time Nagi gets up it’s already 10am. Shit. School started 2 hours ago.. Reo’s gonna kill him. He checks his phone, 3 missed calls from Reo. and 12 unopened messages.. He doesn’t open them..he simply feels too weak. He sets his phone down, and closes his eyes. He needs his Reo. now..
Nagi isn’t answering any of my text messages or calls. God I know he sleeps in sometimes but it’s been 2 hours?!
But, under my anger I am worried sick.. if anything happened to my treasure I.. stop! No time to think about that Reo. Nagi is fine.
Despite my efforts to push those thoughts down.. here I am. At Nagi’s doorstep with the spare key he gave me a couple months ago.
I don’t even bother knocking. I kick off my shoes and walk in. His house is a mess as always and.. it's warm, and unusually quiet. Reo peaks inside Nagi’s bedroom to see him lying in bed.
“Nagi..?” Reo walks over before kneeling down close, close enough to feel the warmth radiating off of him..his eyes are closed but Reo can tell he is awake.
“Treasure..please answer me” Reo says gently..almost tender in a way that makes Nagi’s toes curl.
Reo sees Nagi’s eyes open lazily and then the next second Nagi is on top of him like a cat, Nagi buries his nose into the crook of his neck, while he tangles their legs. Reo studies him by the waist, and can’t resist the urge to slide his hands under his hoodie to touch his bare skin..shit. Nagi’s skin is so hot..
“n-nagi..your temperature-”
“mm.. im sorry for worrying my reo..”
His reo..? Reo’s cheeks turn pink despite his concern. He gets a firmer hold on Nagi’s waist. He doesn’t realize how cold his hands were till Nagi lets out a moan and goes limp against him.
“oh treasure..why didn’t you tell me you were sick..?” Reo says while rubbing his back.
“too much of a hassle..didn’t wanna worry reo..” Nagi nuzzles impossibly closer. Reo now notices how Nagi’s lips are practically pressed against his neck. It sends a shiver down his spine.
Reo starts to shift in an attempt to get up but stops when Nagi lets out a whine. God his nagi is so damn cute..
“Come on Nagi.. you need to eat.” Reo assures him and lifts nagi up to place him on his bed. Then leaves to go make him breakfast.
It’s nearing the end of the day now and they are on Nagi’s bed. Nagi is currently sitting in his lap, straddling Reo while he plays video games behind him.
Then Nagi says "aren't you afraid of getting sick..?”
“No I don’t really care for any of that..you were sick and you needed me.” Reo reassures him as he strokes his back
“Yeah yeah whatever..” Nagi says while clicking away at whatever unimportant video game henis playing
Reo frowns oh. So now he wants to get all sassy.
Reo stops stroking Nagi’s back, which makes the white haired boy sit up to look at him face to face.
“Whatever?” Reo says. Testing the waters
Nagi looks away “yea. Not a big deal.”
“Oh yeah? What’s got you so sour?” Reo says while slipping his hands under Nagi’s t-shirt. He knows that makes his nagi go weak.
Nagi’s ears go pink as he looks back at reo. Then reo lowers his mouth it Nagi’s ear
“You done being a brat?” Reo says lowly, his tone filled with something Nagi has never heard out of Reo before..
“nah.” Nagi says. He can’t deny how close they are right now. But thats normal right?
After reo hears those words come out of Nagi’s mouth he has an overpowering urge to shut him up. To make him submit. And that’s exactly what he does.
Reo then grabs the collar of Nagi’s shirt and almost kisses him, their lips are basically touching, he pauses as if waiting for permission. Nagi lets out a whine, which is all the permission he needs.
Reo kisses him. Softly at first.. savouring the taste he had longed for for so long. But with how reactive Nagi is being right now…he is really losing all self control.
He slides his tongue in his mouth, mapping out Nagi’s mouth and drinking in his addictive taste. After a while, in need of oxygen, they separate. God nagi looks like a mess.
When Nagi sees Reo’s eyes shift down to his exposed neck, Nagi submissively tilts his neck. Good boy. Reo leans down and kisses his neck, sucking and biting. After he hears Nagi whimper in reaction to that. Everything else was a blur.
Now its the next morning and the sun peaks through the curtains. God he loves his boyfriend.
