Chapter 1: Size doesn’t matter, right? (Part 1)

Chapter Text

In The Homelander’s penthouse

Joanna is laid naked across the unmade bed in her American themed penthouse, scrolling on her phone with her burner account. It’s become a daily routine for her to check what the public is saying about her, The Homelander.

Usually it’s all good things, people posting about how Homelander saved them, or how Homelander glanced at them once, Sometimes it’s men lusting over her. Joanna feels a small ego boost from every compliment, she desperately needs that boost to be able to force her body out of bed.

Her eyes drag over the phone screen, Stopping above a post with a photo of her, captured at a bad angle as she’s about to take flight. The caption reads “The homelander’s tits are so fake, clearly a push-up bra #chopped” chopped? What does that even mean.. from context clues she assumes it is not a compliment. Her face twists, lip curling down into a scowl. This time, getting out of bed became easy, as she shot up with superabled speed. Fuelled with blind rage and insecurity. She made her way in front of the large mirror in the penthouse, to take a look at herself.

With her phone still in her hand, she looks back down at the post, squeezing the phone so hard it shatters in her palm. She lets the pieces drop to the floor and then looks back to the mirror. She’s skinny, taller than average. With a 32A chest and small hips. Which makes sense for her weight, diet and lack of exercise. She’s got a normal body type, but normal is like a slur to her. She’s disgusted and disappointed with her shape. She’s supposed to be strong, muscular but not bulky. She’s supposed to be curvy but still have a flat stomach and have a perky young body no matter how old she is. That is how a god would look, that is how The Homelander is meant to be.

She stands in silence for a long while, before the reflection in the mirror speaks back to her.

”What are you gonna do?…Cry? You are The Homelander, they just don’t understand yet that this is the perfect body type, you are an evolutionary superior being. Act like it.”

Joannas head sinks, like a child being yelled at and put in timeout. She sniffles and whispers back in a meek voice

”Y-you’re right. I am superior.”

She whines, and it’s pathetic. Her tone is pained. It’s hard to believe that she believes it. But still, she sucks it up. She’s got a meeting to go to, something about a new shitty movie that’s in the works. Yet another cash grab that Joanna couldn’t care less about, but it’ll make people happy…It’ll make people praise her. It’ll make people love her.

With slow and sluggish hands, The Homelander puts on her suit. With the push-up padded bra, hip pads, muscle pads, and heels. To head to the meeting, and make her insecurity everyone else’s problem.

The Vought tower boardroom

The tower feels colder than average, making it feel like January in the middle of June. It probably bothers Homelander much more than anyone else in the room. Especially today, since she’s already pissy.

Adam, the annoying fat and short dictator girl, is going on and on about a new movie that Vought is ‘Really excited about’. She stands on the right side of the room, beside Ashley, pointing to the big screen that shows concept art and summary’s on side characters which they have already casted. A young sidekick for homelander, a blonde girl that looks similar to Homelander.. her stomach turns. She’s just a hotter replacement. A girl with bigger boobs, a thinner waist, longer hair, bigger eyelashes. Adam is still yapping about the plot, the girl dying at the end in Homelander’s hands, after Homelander and the seven had bonded with her. Homelander saying she was ‘like a daughter’ to the team. It’s all so cheesy, and predictable, as these movies often are.

But, Homelander had stopped paying attention once she had seen the girls photographs. Her eyes had started to drift.

Bright blue eyes drag around the room, looking the seven up and down. However skipping King Maeve. Joanna notices A-trains thick thighs, toned and muscular. Her extra short-shorts framing her shape, hugging in the right places. A-train doesn’t need to wear padding in her ass. Homelander huffs, her nose crinkles. Her eyes land on Noir, her arms are thick, muscular, and impressive. Despite it mostly being covered in the suit, it’s still clear that she trains. Something that Homelander does not do, mostly because she doesn’t need to. Translucent’s suit is all that Homelander can see, lucky she is not curvy like the rest of the team, she is skinny like Homelander. But her stomach is flatter. The outline of it in her suit shows that clearly enough. And finally Joanna’s eyes end on The deep. Somehow being the shortest woman in the room makes her shape more attractive. Of course, her arms are muscular, almost on par with Noir but not quite as big. Although what is big, is her chest. Definitely a 34E, basically busting out of her unzipped top. And now Homelander is even more annoyed by the cold air of the room. Deeps nipples are visible through the thin fabric of her suit.

Joanna must of been staring for an uncomfortable amount of time, the room is dead silent. She zones back into reality, glancing up from Kelly’s chest and making eye contact to see that She has been looking at Homelander with an unsure, nervous but flattered smile.

“uh, Hey br- Ma’am!”

The deep chirps, she sounds almost exited. Which is confusing but mostly even more annoying for Homelander.

”Shut up.”

“oh sorry Ma’am, I just.. you looked like you wanted to talk to-“

”I said, Shut up Deep!”

Almost the whole room flinches, The Homelander turns her chair towards Adam and Ashley. Two people with names that should probably be switched, since Ashely is a man and Adam is not. Homelander claps her hands together, her scowl from earlier is gone and replaced with a corporate fake smile.

”The movie sounds lovely. I think this meeting has dragged a little too long, don’t you?”

She glances at her wrist, she doesn’t have a watch. But clearly it’s more for the message.

”oh um, we still need to talk about replacements for lamplighter..”

Ashleys voice shakes with anxiety, like he doesn’t want to mention it, sensing Homelanders patience is running thin. And given the look he receives at this comment, he backs down. He starts collecting his papers instead

”N-Nevermind! You’re right Homelander, this meeting is uh too long so um, I guess we can talk about that in the next one?”

“Ashley.”

”y-yes?”

”Leave now.”

That gets Adam and Ashely packing, running off like two baby deer on ice. As they slide on freshly cleaned floor until they make it out of sight.

Maeve is ready to leave, since he’d really enjoy a smoke and alone time. Knowing he doesn’t have anything else scheduled today. With one nod, he leaves. Which is cue for the rest of the seven. Making their ways out respectfully. But, as Deep is about to head out, Homelander raises a hand and stands slowly out of her chair.

”Not you deep, come here. I want to have a chat with you.”

Deeps heart flutters, she doesn’t know if it’s out of fear or excitement at getting extra attention. It’s probably both. It drums in Joanna’s ears.

“Ma’am?”

She steps closer, facing The Homelander. Looking up well puffing out her chest in an attempt to look professional but it just angers Homelander, since to her it comes off as provocative. Homelander sucks in a breath through her teeth before she speaks.

”Never do that again.”

”do.. what?”

Homelander has the urge to slap her, just for being so idiotic. But, she has enough self control today. She sighs, and slowly explains. As her hand reaches out, two gloved fingers hold Kelly’s zipper and pull it up. The suit zips fully, almost catching on Deeps neck, so she tilts her head up, to let Homelander close it. She swallows watching her leader, with nervous-and-desperate-for-approval energy.

“Not wearing a bra to a meeting with the seven, it’s unprofessional Deep. Although I shouldn’t expect better from you. You seem to love the attention you get from being a slut.”

Her words are thick with hate, jealousy. And possibly a little arousal, in a way that disgusts herself. Because it’s the fucking Deep she’s speaking about.

The Deeps eyes are widen, and Homelander can tell she’s holding her breath. Shocked from being insulted, but her pulse is irregular in a way like she’s been complimented from a person of authority and doesn’t know how to respond.

”I- .. Right! I mean- no, I don’t like the.. I’m sorry Homelander Ma’am. I don’t usually wear a bra it’s just cold, so I will next time! Promise, on god bro.”

A glove hand moves up, cupping one cheek of Kelly’s face. Patting it, but not lightly. It’s on the verge of a slap. Something like a proof of power over her.

“You’re free to go Deep.”

”Thank you, Homelander.”

The Deep turns on her heels, walking with tight fists at her side. The Homelander’s eyes never leave her body, watching as her thighs and ass move well walking. Joanna knows her body wouldn’t move like that, her natural body anyways.. And for some reason she notices the reaction her stomach and crotch has during this. With conflicting emotions of bitter jealousy, arousal, and self hatred. They mix in her body and create a stew of heat in herself. But surely, this won’t become a problem right? This feeling is a one time thing, tomorrow Homelander will forget about any body dysmorphia she had and be back to normal.

Notes:

Bear with me it’ll get good soon, this is my first The Boys fanfic, and first fic in a long time. Every other time I’ve written has been so bad I had to delete it.. and that might happen to this one as well

Anyways this is a VERY short chapter, just as a concept kinda? I need to see if the boys yuri is profitable 👀
