you're pretty (in pity)

Summary:

Jessika Carr feels a bit bad for Becky, at this point.

Work Text:

Jess knew exactly what would happen if she let Becky talk.
That her perfect, tranquil moment of silence would turn into an argument.
Still, she felt a bit bad, with her strap buried as far down Becky’s throat as it was, so she pulled out for just a second, and of course, immediately-

“If you tell anyone about this, I swear, I will make your life a living hell, I will get you fired, I will-”

“Yeah, yeah, I get it. Heard you loud and clear the first three times. I don’t have to resort to airing out personal business just to get a leg up in an argument, everybody’s already on my side.”

“Not true! There are thousands of Becky believers out there, Corey Graves says-”

“Corey Graves will literally say anything you want him to because he wants to get spitroasted by you and your husband, try again.”

“….Je’von Evans-”

“Rookie, admires you because you’re a veteran and a legend.”

“Ha! You- You said it! So you agree! I am a legend!”

Jessika rolled her eyes, sighing slightly.
Really, she had no idea why she was indulging this.
Well, other than to get off. She was only human, after all, and when her mouth was preoccupied with something other than deluded ranting, Becky Lynch was an exceptionally handsome woman.

There was something about her.
A sort of…boyish charm, for lack of a better word, and though she was by no means a butch, she moved like a man. Becky’s body language was much more traditionally masculine than one would expect, but Jessika had been noticing it for a while now.
More than that, she acted exactly like the more...volatile male wrestlers Jess had dealt with during her tenure as a referee.

This was a rhythm they’d fallen into far too easily; every match was foreplay, teasing. Getting under her skin, riling her up into a proper tantrum, then putting her back in her place backstage.
It had very quickly become her favourite part of the job.

“Say it again. Say I’m a legend. Say I’m the greatest.”

“Like your ego needs any more stroking.”
Jess almost felt a pang of guilt at the kicked puppy expression Becky gave her at her casual refusal, all wide eyes and furrowed brows and pouted lips.
It was the same expression she wore when she lost a match. Jessika didn’t even think it was conscious on her part.

“Aww, c’mon. You didn’t actually think that’d work, did you?”

Becky’s face flushed with anger and humiliation at the condescension, not to mention the entire situation.
She was exhausted and trembly from the match, still in her sweaty gear.
Jessika had pulled her aside backstage suspiciously soon after she’d lost the title to Sol Ruca.
Maybe she was apologizing, in her own way. Trying to give Becky something else to think about.
Or maybe she’d liked how Becky had looked, thoroughly defeated, crying alone in that ring.
She could never know for sure, but the idea that Carr got something out of her disgrace filled her with rage. And lust.

Jessika could hear Becky spiralling. Her hand reached for Becky’s face by instinct, making her face Jess properly.
She tried not to focus on the fondness with which she unwillingly found herself cradling that flushed face.

“What do you think, pretty boy? Wanna get some more spit on this before it goes inside you?”

Becky bit her lower lip, trying to stifle a whine.
Jess knew exactly what that pet name did to her, and maybe she was being cruel by using it so soon, but she didn’t really care.
“N-no, no, just get it over with.”

“Now, now, I think you can be a bit nicer than that, Becks. Ask for what you really want.”

“I hate you.”

“I’ve got all evening.”

With a long-suffering groan that sounded more like an embarrassed whimper, Becky finally mumbled,
“Fuck me. Please.”

Jessika knew that was the best she was gonna get, and tonight of all nights, she didn’t really feel like pushing Becky.
She could spot fresh tears forming in the corners of her eyes every time she left her to her thoughts for longer than a few seconds.
“There we go, good job! Go ahead, lie down for me, baby.”

Becky frowned again, feeling even brattier than usual.
“The floor’s cold. And uncomfortable. And- and my elbows and knees hurt and so does my back.”

“Oh my God, I meant the couch. Obviously I meant the fucking couch, we’re both pushing 40, you’re just looking for reasons to complain.”

Becky didn’t have a response, and some of the defiance on her face had already melted into misery, lower lip wobbling slightly as she looked around like someone trying very hard not to cry.
Without even thinking, Jessika lifted her up off the floor, and carried her to the couch.

“Wh- You….y-you’re…strong…” She almost whispered it, sounding genuinely flustered, which made Jessika smirk.

“Gotta be, for this job. Gear off.”

Becky slid her skin-tight shorts and the black panties underneath down to her knees, but apparently wasn’t planning on taking the rest of her gear off.
Despite this having become something of a routine for them, Jessika had never actually seen her shirtless.

“Doesn’t it get really hot, in all that black leather?”

“I’m not showing you my tits.”

“Worth a try.” Jess shrugged.
She’d never say it out loud, but she suspected some level of insecurity behind Becky’s reluctance.
She knew how much pressure there was, the frankly absurd and unrealistic standards most female wrestlers were held to- Personally, she’d always secretly enjoyed how Becky’s chest looked in specific gear, smaller than most of the other women on her level.
…Cute, in a way.
But she’d never say that.
Because that was weird, probably.

Just to interrupt her own thoughts, Jessika pushed in.
All at once, but she knew Becky, she knew she could handle it.

Sure enough, Becky only gasped subtly and arched her hips up a bit, then relaxed around the length.
She glanced at Jess, all too smug.
“Well? Get a move on, Carr, I don’t have all day.”

Instantly, Jessika set a punishing pace, but unlike most of the time, she held Becky.
She held her by her hips, by her thighs, by her waist.
Her hands travelled up and down her body, almost…petting.
Like she was trying to soothe her.

Most of the time, their sex was…hateful. Obviously. The appeal was the venom, the amount of resentment in each thrust, the glare in Becky’s eyes-
But it felt different this time.
It felt…different.

Usually, around this part, Jessika would start talking.
She’d say filthy things, mean things, just to work out her own frustration.
But she didn’t…feel like doing that today.
So instead, what came out of her mouth was,
“You’re okay, you’re okay, you’re doing so good, you’re so good.”

“Don’t, don’t- Fuck you, I hate you, you’re the worst ref, the worst one-”

“Shh, shh, I know, I know. I’m sorry, baby, I’m so sorry. You’ll be okay. I’ve got you.”

“Shut up! Don’t do that, don’t be nice, I’ll- I-”
…She was getting choked up. Her voice was trembling.

“You can cry. You already did, just let it out. Go ahead. You can let it out now, baby.”

And she did.

Almost instantly, Becky’s eyes flooded, then overflowed, as she threw her head back and sobbed.
“My title! That was- That’s my title! I made it! I built it! I built this entire division! I’m not- I’m still The Man! I am! I can still do it! But they’re not- They won’t cheer for me anymore! Why won’t they…why….oh, God…Jess…please don’t stop…”

Jessika was almost taken aback. Becky had never called her ‘Jess’ before.
But she kept going, leaning down to kiss Becky’s stomach.
“I got you. I got you. You know I always got you.”

“Then why do I- Why am I crying? Why do I keep…losing? Am I not good anymore? Am I- J-Jess, Jess, I’m so alone, I’m so scared, nobody likes me anymore!”
Tears streamed down her flushed face, and her chest shook slightly with her sobs.

“It’s okay, Becky, you’re okay, you’re okay…”

“I’m- Mh- F-fuck! I’m gonna cum, I don’t want to, I- I don’t want to cum so soon, not like this, it’s pathetic- I’m pathetic, I’m pathetic, I’m pathetic!”
She was squirming, writhing around, hands shooting up to cover her face.

“That’s okay. I’m here. You can cum, baby, you can cum whenever you need to, I’ve got you.”

“It’s not- Fuck, fuck! I can’t take it anymore, please, I don’t wanna be seen anymore, I’m not who I used to be, I don’t wanna be looked at- You’re gonna laugh, y-you’re gonna make fun of me-”

“I won’t.”

“F-f-fine- Fine, I’m gonna cum, I’m gonna cum right now, is that what you want? Can’t- Can’t do anything right anymore, gonna just…cum right now…”

“It’s alright.”

When Becky came, she didn’t moan, or whine, or even sob- All she did was make the saddest, smallest noise, something like a gasp or a whimper, still covering her face.
She didn’t stop crying.

Jessika pulled out, and without even thinking about it, without even thinking about anything at all, she pulled herself up to crawl over to Becky’s sobbing form, and wrapped her arms around her.

They were both disgusting just then, covered in sweat and cum and tears, the harness still tight around Jessika’s hips, but she didn’t care.
She didn’t care about anything except the feeling of Becky’s face pressing into her shoulder.

“I still hate you. I hate you so much.”

“I know. That’s okay.”
