Yuuji has been busy lately.
Not that Gojo minded but he’s been busy to always be on that silly stupid switch that Gojo got for him ever since their date last week. He’s always there giggling and smiling at the screen, fiddling with the joysticks and hiding it each time Gojo tries to look over his shoulder.
For once, he regretted his decision on buying a switch for his lover— well, not really but the point stands that he wished that it’s him that Yuuji is being busy with and not that silly device that goes mweh or mweoom each time Yuuji does something interesting enough.
He overheard him talking to Nobara earlier on how he’s been collecting fossils and star fragments for something, to decorate his island and that made him wonder what exactly he’s playing.
It gotten to the point wherein he had enough. That’s right, the Gojo Satoru has enough of his boyfriend playing on the switch without him so the most obvious thing to do is— buy the same thing he bought Yuuji but in a different color, the same game ‘animal crossing’ and the same model, just so they can play together.
It’s not that they are spending time outside of another another but this gave enough moments for them to spend more time together.
God, Gojo is such a genius that people should applaud him for his quick thinking!
That being said— “Yuujiii! Let’s play!” He cheers, opening the door to his lover (his lover! oh how sweet it is to call Yuuji that), to whom quickly hide his switch. “Ah ah ah,” he motioned to the same device in his hand, shaking it with the game already inside. “Look what I got! We can play together now!”
He waves it around and watches in near glee at the sight of Yuuji gawking at him.
“You bought a switch?” Yuuji carefully said outloud.
“Yup!” Gojo answers in quick succession, finding it in himself to bounce on the bed to quickly getting up all over Yuuji’s space. “So we can play together.”
“So we can play together…?” Yuuji echoes.
Gojo’s eyebrows furrowed. “Yes? Because Yuuji has been busy so I want to know what you’re busying all over.”
“So we can play together?” Yuuji asks to clarify. He nods in response.
“Yup! So now where were we?” He opens the game, seeing the rather cutesy title screen opening and the instructions to click A. “What does this game even do?”
Yuuji laughs, a small laugh but a laugh nonetheless that echoes through Gojo’s chest, going straight to his heart as he hears it. “Oh sensei, you’re so silly.”
Haaaaaa?
Gojo pouts. “Nuh uh, now teach me!” He can do the instructions but he likes the idea more of Yuuji teaching him how to do this game. That’s the whole purpose of it after all. He bonks his head towards Yuuji’s shoulder, cuddling with him as they go along playing for the rest of the evening.
