Teito stared as the flower in his eye grew—leaving him blind in the other eye.
"Haaa...eugh..blehg..!"
-He threw up blood and pink flowers-
-Cough cough-
"It hurts..my throat...Eugh..."
He sanked down on the sink, His knees hitting the floor—His going weak. He doesn't understand what is happening..Why flowers grew inside him, it started that fateful day where Frau was flirting with other women again—normally he wouldn't care but his stomach churned and his heart ached at the sight, He didn't understand why but he didn't like it
He panted as more blood and pink flowers got out of his body with each cough—his mind going fuzzy, He was on the verge of passing out. His eyes rolled back in pain as his throat,Lungs,Stomach and everything inside him felt like something was growing fast.
He felt a burning sensation inside him—Like he chugged a cup of lava. He cried as the pain worsened each breath he took
"Eugh...h-help me..It hurts..."
He spat out words, panting heavily—his face tired and drained. Soon the bathroom door swang opened—There he was. The cause of it all..
''Frau..?"
Teito's mind was occupied from the pain, Only seeing the boots of the man he adored—Soon he looked up, seeing Frau's worried face. He panted taking In the beauty of the man before him. He collapsed flat on the ground—Blood on the sink, floor and his face
Frau's stomach churned at the sight—Grabbing teito, he shook the boy gently, seeing the blood all over the place—he carried the boy in his arms and rushed to the garden where Labrador would be
"Shit! shit! Hang in there Teito! Fuck! Lab..Where are you damn it! Labrador!!"
He shouted out—Carrying the boy with so much gentleness but worry planted all over his face. The nuns who were cleaning gasped at the sight of teito in Frau's arms—Blooded and a flower in his eye, The bishops around halted their steps, witnessing the terror, One rushed out to call for Labrador
"Where's Labrador!?"
Frau called out, He was in the garden, Scanning the place hurriedly, he was sweating heavily, fear and panicked all over his face
"What happened- OH MY GOODNESS!"
Labrador went to him and gasped at teito's predicament
"I don't know! I just saw him collapsed on the bathroom all blooded fuck! Do something Labrador!"
Frau replied, Placing the boy on a nearby bench,Teito was in deep unconsciousness—His breathing slowly and would stop for a second
"I- What happened..oh my god.."
Labrador placed his hands on the boy's stomach—Using his healing Zaiphon to heal the boy from what is hurting him
"Shit..what the fuck.."
*Frau stared at the boy, Gripping his hand, He was panting heavily—panic all over his face, Labrador noticed this and glared at him*
"Frau. We need you to calm down."
Labrador said to Frau, Frau calmed down a little—For his sake he had to. As Labrador started to heal teito, He was as worried and confused, looking at the unconscious boy on the bench, He noticed Frau's hands, Holding teito's so tightly—and his expression was worry, Sweat drop on his face, His eyes red from trying to not cry upon seeing the boy, Labrador felt a pang of ache—but he doesn't acknowledge it
They sat there, Frau gripping teito's hand tightly,stroking it as if comforting the unconscious boy—Labrador was still healing Teito, another 30 minutes passed and they decided to move teito to a more comfortable space—to Frau's room, Frau carried the boy gently and placed him down on his bed, Fixing his hair and gently tucking him in
"He'll wake up soon enough. Just let him rest."
Labrador said, Going to place a hand on teito's hair but halted when he noticed Frau's hand possessively hovered around teito's hair. Labrador took his hand away quickly, clearing his throat
"is it..it?"
Frau stated dimly, Labrador looked at him
"huh?" Labrador looked confused
"it's hanahaki disease isn't it Lab?"
He glanced at Labrador, his eyes sharp and cold—Like a thin line ready to break, Labrador went quiet for a while, he glanced at Frau then to Teito.
"He does show the signs. But I'm not sure..If it is hanahaki then.. I don't think I can heal him fully. Hanahaki disease can only be cured if he and this crush of his requited his love."
Labrador asked Frau, Standing near Frau
"Do you have any idea who it could be?"
He asked Frau who only shook his head gently—staring at teito intently, his eyebrows furrowed, Labrador looked at him—his eyes lacing a look of pure gentleness
"He'll wake up soon."
He said—placing a hand on frau's shoulder
"Let's go and let him rest."
He went to the door glancing back at Frau over his shoulder, Frau was still beside Teito before he stood up and kissed his forehead
"Don't die on me brat."
He muttered and ran a hand through Teito's hair before following Labrador out of the room
When they were outside—Castor was waiting for them, his expression dim and stern, He adjusted his glasses then stared at Frau.
"So it is the hanahaki disease? How bad?"
He asked, folding his arms together over his chest.
"His condition is bad. The heartbeat is slow and barely there. I fear that his disease has infiltrated his stomach already, His heart is next, His left eye already has a flower growing out of it. I'm afraid.. That.."
He paused glancing at Frau for a quick while who looked away—his face formed into a scrowl*
"I fear he will die soon enough."
He muttered—looking down to the cold ground, his expression dim with sadness. Frau flinched a little at his words and he gritted his teeth, Castor stared at them then at the closed door in Frau's room—As the Ghost of Feist, He could see who was bound together yet he couldn't say a word about it. He decided to just let these two work it out on their own.
"We have to attend mass. We'll discuss this with Bishop ji—"
He was soon cut off by Frau's sharp voice
"I'm not going. I'm staying near Teito."
He said turning around before he could go inside the room again—Labrador caught his wrist abruptly.
"If you miss this mass again, the Archbishop will be angry at you again. I'll send Hakuren in to watch over him. It's either you attend mass or miss it then archbishop will punish you to the point you won't see teito again. I know you're worried but you still have duties Frau."
He spoke firmly looking straight into frau's cold back—Holding his wrists, Frau on the other hand was grim and gritted his teeth before pulling back his hand from Labrador, He didn't say a word and just went to the mass hall. Castor sighed and followed him—shotting a look at Labrador over his shoulder
The punishment wasn't that much, It was just cleaning duties that will pile up and up. Labrador just wanted to excuse Frau out so that Hakuren can talk to Teito without the man lingering.
