Chapter Text
Lunar and her two twin younger brothers, Cosmo and Nova venture the galaxy looking for a planet to research.
NOVA: Yo, Lunar, look!
LUNAR: Huh…?
She watches the window in front of her, trying to see what he’s talking about. Then a planet catches her eye and she quickly turns the steering wheel towards it.
The ship violently turns knocking Cosmo over.
COSMO: Owie! (ᗒᗣᗕ)
LUNAR: Sorry...!
He tries to get up, but stumbles over multiple times. Then he eventually manages to stand, and he gives her a thumbs up.
Lunar accelerates the ship in excitement of finding this new planet.
NOVA: Be careful, mom said not to make the ship go too quickly or else we might crash.
LUNAR: It's ok, I know exactly what I'm doing.
Cosmo audibly gulps, realizing she probably has no idea what she's doing (despite her doing really well in her driving school).
As they get closer and closer, clouds start to appear in front of them.
COSMO: Woaaaah...
The ship starts to get warmer as Lunar loses control of the ship's speed. Nova notices how terrified Lunar looks, and decides to check up on her.
NOVA: Are you ok Lunar? You look worried.
LUNAR: Please don't get mad at me for this...
NOVA: I won't.
LUNAR: I kinda... Lost control over the ship...
NOVA: You what
She laughs awkwardly and looks back at the shivering Cosmo behind her. He scrambles to look for the emergency airbag button and rapidly punches it.
Airbags puff up until they are practically suffocating in them, then a black covering covers the window. They huddle together and brace themselves.
The ship crashes onto the ground and the aliens go unconscious.
Lunar wakes up to a broken ship and... A hotel?
She pokes them until they wake up, then the twins stare at the seemingly abandoned hotel.
COSMO: Uhh... Is that a hotel...?
NOVA: Probably.
LUNAR: Cool, let's go inside! It's not like we have anywhere else to go, since the ship's broken.
COSMO: Not my fault! ( ｀⊿´)
LUNAR: At least I know how to fix it, okay?
NOVA: Let's go in already...
The three of them stand up and make their way to the entrance.
Lunar sees the doors and the planks covering them; she punches the doors and knocks them down. They walk inside the entrance and see a lobby full of brown elevators.
COSMO: Ooh! This place looks fancy!
LUNAR: Yeah!
In the elevator, Nova presses the button leading to the second floor.
The elevator opens to the first floor, with an empty reception area and a key behind it.
COSMO: Should we just take it?
NOVA: I mean, sure.
Lunar jumps over the desk and grabs the key, then she jumps back over and heads for the door. She unlocks the door to reveal a room with a few closets and another door labeled "0002". They open the next door and continue walking. Cosmo also occasionally checks the drawers for coins. (He collects many coins and stuffs them into a purse he also found at the hotel.)
Just as they are about to open the 12th door, the lights flicker. Cosmo rushes to a nearby closet in fear, while Lunar and Nova just stand there. They turn around and see a grey uncanny floating face smiling at them.
NOVA: No wonder Cosmo hid.
LUNAR: Yeah, what even is that?
The grey face looks at them disappointed.
RUSH: That's rude, anyways, I'm Rush!
The cowardly Cosmo takes a peek outside to see Rush.
COSMO: It- It has a name...?
RUSH: Yes it does.
Cosmo screams and shuts his closet door again. While inside the closet, he feels an overwhelming urge to leave, like this closet won't protect him for long. Something pushes him out and he falls face flat on the floor.
COSMO: OWIE!!! (ಡ᎔ಡ)
A black shadow glares at him, and Cosmo climbs up one of the other closets and poses on it like a cat. The closet tips over and Cosmo whines and cries.
As he continues to suffer, Rush decides to ask them a question.
RUSH: Are you guys even human? You don't look human... or act human
NOVA: We're aliens.
RUSH: What the heck is that?
NOVA: It's hard to explain...
RUSH: Are aliens just green and blue humans?
LUNAR: It's more complicated than that.
NOVA: Anyways, our ship broke down, can we stay here for a while?
COSMO: NO! PLEASE! AAAAAAAAAA!
RUSH: Sure, want me to tour you?
COSMO: NOOOOOUHHH!!!! ( ᗒᗣᗕ )
NOVA: Sure... (¬_¬")
Lunar drags Cosmo by the foot and they start the tour.
COSMO: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
