Work Header

By Jenkins

Summary:

A poem about a postman.
You knew him as Betty.

Notes:

Hey Ozza? Hi, I'm supposed to be studying for my very important exams.

Unfortunately, dungeon delivery just ripped my heart out, put it back in but didn't quite but it in properly but then asked "actually no, I want that back" and when I said no, proceeded to just reinvoke the feelings I felt when I watched the wild robot and proceeded to leave me sobbing while living rent-free in my head in the spaces where the math formulas should be.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Once in a distant land,
there was a postbot.

Deep in express
But no expression
Is this its protection?

To deliver its parcel
But also a postcard
Do not let it discard.

Finding friendship;
Through rafting stance,
And learning to dance.

By Jenkins, he learned to dance.

Once in a distant land,
there was a postman.

You know him as

Beautiful view
Energy askew
The first series
Time turned weary
Yet still danced, and danced, and danced…

Yes.
You knew him as Betty.

Notes:

And also I'm screaming into a pillow-
But in all seriousness though, thank you. This episode was actually really beautiful and if you haven't watched it, you definitely should!
