“And that there- Is Alpha Centauri right?”
“Which one?”
“Pardon me?”
“There’s Three different parts to Alpha Centauri . There’s A, B, and Proxima Centuri, and that telescope should be able to see all three, so which one is it?”
“I- Anthony, you know I don’t really know this stuff.”
“No, but you asked me to show you. It’s in the third chapter of my book ya know.”
“Yes, yes I know dear. I’ve read it multiple times.”
“Multiple? Or just staring at the front page?”
“Well you should know better then anyone that it’s a limited edition signed by the author no less…. Oh stop giving me that look.”

“That look! The one you did just now”
“I have no idea what your talking about angel.”
“And- Stop calling me that!”
“What, because you get flustered. It’s cute”
“It’s not cute it’s embarrassing!”
“Well to me it’s cute… oh look. Did you see it, over there in the corner”
“What am I looking for?”
“Piece of meteoroid just burned in the atmosphere”
“You mean like a shooting star? I mean of course I know they aren’t actually stars but-“
“Shush”
“Stop shushing me”
“No just watch. Up there”
“Wow”
“Yeah, make a wish”
“Really, but your the one who spotted it?”
“For the love of, just make a wish”
“But what would I wish for, I’ve got everything I need right here”
“Stop being a sap. If I were you I’d wish for things to remain the way they are. No big surprises, no worrying about tomorrow. Just us. Here.”
“Now look who’s being the sap”
“Whaaat. Can’t express fondness anymore?”
“Your oozing with sugar”
“Says you! Your whole face screams look at me I’m soft and kind and handsome”

“Aw shush. Let’s keep it that way. Oo- look over there. There's more meteorites”
“Stars, Anthony. Just call them shooting starts.”
