Two time doesn't really know how long they had been staring at the text on their phone, they just know it was probably more than twenty minutes based on how it was nearly pitch black past the curtains to the window of their shoddy apartment.
They read over the text just one more time, contemplating.
It was from a group chat that every survivor was in.
(the killers had their own group chat apparently so they needed one)
they had just a week ago been added to by Chance, much to everyone else's (especially Noob.) Reluctance.
Titantic swim team last seen: 8:27 pm
Luckygambler: it's at 6 right?
C0laluvr69: how do u always forgrt? 😭 ofc it's at 6 it's alwys at six..
Luckygambler: hey I'm a busy guy okay? obviously I'm gonna forget time to time. Anyways, shohld I bring spade this time? I kinda wanna
heyPiizza!: Uh idk about that cause last time you did she sat on the pizza.
Luckygambler: well last time I brought her 007n7 had spooked her off by picking her up the wrong way 👯

007n7: I came at my call
heypiizza!: Wait, is Two time ciming this time? They usually never show up
C0laluvr69: I usyally forget to invite them actually.. Sorry El 😿
Luckygambler: dude seriously? And you said I'm forgetful
C0laluvr69: well.. It's not rlly that I'm kinda too scared to text them.. 😓
Guest1337: You were too afraid to invite Two time? That's alright. I understand that, but you should have asked someone else to invite them if you weren't going to. You're telling me that's why Two time never shows up?

And that was the last of the conversation. Right after that though Veeronica had sent a text inviting Two time and sending them the dates as well as the place.
To which they dryly responded with a quick thank you and a confirmation on them going to which Vee then corrected their spelling errors..
They were hosting a gathering that apparently they had been hosting every month since the start of this year, and Two time Only just now found out about it because they were added.
They felt hurt of course, why wouldn't they? They also went through the same hell that was forsaken and the spectre, and the others still hadn't pushed their differences aside to talk with them and invite them?
it's fine. Two time still has Spawn after all! Despite Elliot and the others signing him into a mental hospital for a few months once they escaped, they never truly gave up on spawn. despite acting like they did so Elliot wouldn't send him to whatever a "therapist" was.
They still don't understand why they lost their second life after escaping. Well, the others said that they did but they never confirmed it.
that's a solution for another day.
and with that, Two time finally got up and started excitedly picking out an outfit, ecstatic that the others had invited them to a gathering. Despite the fact they kept the gathering hidden all these months..
Two Times tail swished happily as they rummaged through their button ups and few t-shirts gifted to them by chance and 007n7.
do they go causal? Formal? They only ever went to gatherings preforsaken, when they would go to banquets that were dedicated to spawn.
eventually, they decided on going casual. They really did like the cat shirts that 007n7 gave them. They were only slightly big on them. Apparently, 007n7 used to wear these in his college days. He had gifted them to Two time because they "fit them nearly perfectly." and "They needed cats in their life."
007n7 really was like the father they never had. I mean— Amarah was loving.. He cared.. Yeah. She only wanted what was best for them.
but what he made them do hurt more than anything else ever did, and they lost the most important person to them.

The thought passed from their head as quickly as it came and they went back to getting ready.
After Two time arrived at the address, that which being Chances 2 story house, They were quickly welcomed in by Chance who draped his arms over their shoulders as he walked them inside.
Needless to say the gathering was pretty enjoyable at the start.
They tried to play "Mario kart" with the others but they kept holding the controller wrong and ended up simply opting to watch them play from the sidelines.
They also had decided to watch a movie afterwards. They decided on a movie about avatars? They weren't really paying attention when they were voting. Not like they were one for movies anyway, because they were taught that such entertainment had blasphemy against Spawn in it.
what they were paying attention to however was the odd seating they picked for the two couches (it's a big living room with a big tv and then 2 separate couches in front of it.)
For some reason, Everyone thought it was a good idea to put Two time between Dusekkar.. And Noob. They didn't have a problem with either, but the two certainly had a problem with them. Noob having some sort of fear for them for whatever reason, and dusekkar just didn't seem to really like them the more they tried to converse with the pumpkin headed admin. (They refused to believe it was because of their love for the beloved Spawn!)
About 40 minutes into the movie, Two time got sleepy. they felt their eyelids getting heavier as they slowly drifted off, No matter how hard they tried to stay awake. They ended up leaning on dusekkar which very, very, much annoyed and upset him.
Dusekkar waited five minutes expecting Two time to get off of his shoulder, but when they showed no signs of waking up and nobody noticing their predicament, he decided to be nefarious.
Well, he was curious on how sensitive the boney tail Two time had is. So they got a firm grip on it which of course earned a curious glance from Noob who scooted away from them as best they could.
And he yanked. Hard.
Two time immediately sat up letting out a loud pained yelp making everyone jump and Chance pause the movie. Two time scratched instinctively at Dusekkar leaving a big cut on his arm which made him scoot back and hiss in pain, gripping his forearm.
everyone stopped, and stared at them.
before Noob spoke up
"Two time what the HECK?!" They said loudly, immediately pinning the blame on them for whatever just happened.
Two time clutched their tail, sitting up off the couch away from dusekkar. "D-Divine pumpkin.. Why- why did you yank my tail?!" They questioned angrily.
"Maybe you need to learn boundaries!" dusekkar huffed out, upset with the situation despite having caused it.
Two time shook their head in disbelief and dizziness. Their tail was linked to their spine after all. They stumbled away to the kitchen ignoring the admins beginning to argue, and Elliot and a few others concern for them trying to call them back.
they were beginning to feel dizzy from the commotion and their tail tingling painfully. They took their jacket off the rack and sprint walked out the door.
they didn't feel good. They weren't having fun anymore, and everything was too loud and blurry.
I guess they should've watched where they were going cause the last thing they saw were headlights and then a sudden pain bloomed across their side.
they got hit by a car.
Their head hit the concrete with a crunch and they immediately felt it, immense, overwhelming pain taking over their body. all they could hear was ringing as they faintly saw blurred figures rushing up and hovering over them.
and then everything went dark.
