Chapter Text
Lizzie is a bisexual blondie, she is quiet but not shy, and it is really hard to embarrass her. She's wearing headphones almost all the time and finds comfort in her loneliness if you can call it that. Lizzie has a few close friends and many acquaintances, she just doesn't need constant attention.
She holds the opinion that a few clone friends that she thinks of not as just friends but as of brothers and sisters by now is better than being " more socially active", as she is suggested all the time.
She figured her sexuality back in the end of middle school when had a first crush on a girl. They even dated during summer break, and It was nice, but they were kids, and although she is thankful to that girl for helping her in understanding who she is, Lizzie doesn't consider their break-up heartbreaking, both of them felt that it just had to happen. After that she didn't really date, bothered with studying, exams and picking the right uni.
Lizzie has loving and caring parents and they call and text each other all the time, she really cares about them. But it wasn't as easy before, her dad needed a lot of time to accept the fact that his daughter is queer, and ever since she never talks about that period of time. She never discusses things she doesn't want to discuss, and unless you are really close it will be impossible to make her change that rule for you.
She can look like a person who doesn't have any problems with self-esteem and expressing her feelings, but she is really insecure about her body, never satisfied with how she looks. Lizzie is perfect at masking it so no one except her parents knows.
Mary is tall and has long black hair, she is Goth, although her style doesn't show who she really is, as many people think. She is actually everything but an aggressive Goth, always seeking for hugs and being really shy about it. She doesn't have an anxiety disorder, but can be anxious time to time, and when she is it's hard to breathe, and she hates that.
Mary was a giant uncontrollable people pleaser in the past, she was told that its the consequence of being bullied, and now she got much better at controlling it.
Goth music is the one thing that helps her to calm down, as soon as it's hard to breathe she is listening to "depeche mode" , "twin tribes" or "kentucky vampires" , to these are always some cheap earphones in her bag. Oh, and of course, a book. She reads, and she reads a lot. From classic literature to comics, she enjoys everything, Reading has always been something special for her, the time she spends on herself, forgetting about the whole world, focusing on characters inside.
Mary knows so many people that she wouldn't be able to name all of her friends, but sometimes she wishes she never met them at all( yes it's a song reference but it's my fic lol), regretting talking to them, since their words and innocent jokes usually end up hurting her. Again, you wouldn't say that if you met her, but Mary can be offended very easily.
She will never admit that, but Mary is a strong badass until you mention her past or hint at her insecurities, and there are lots of them.
In general she is really kind and talkative, but it always was a reason for people to hurt her, so now as much as she tries to stay her real self it became a major insecurity.
