47 Concert appropriate for kids?
▽ My daughter (16) is a big fan of this musician. She wants to get concert tickets for her birthday, and I told her I'd look into it. I haven't heard of The Vampire Lestat before, so I looked him up, and I'm divided. I see many photos of him in very provocative outfits. I also see posts of people describing his concerts as a "religious experience", but his content seems very different from the other Christian Rock artists my family listens to. Is it safe for me to bring my girl to one of these shows, or should I tell her no?

I think 16 is plenty old enough for a TVL concert, especially if she's already familiar with his music. She probably knows what she's signing up for.

since tvl has finally confirmed his international tour, here's my prediction for the setlist, and my reason for why i'm guessing what i'm guessing!! for his opening song, i imagine he'd stick with what he's done on his north america tour, and play the iconic "long face" 🧵 (1/?)
(2/?) after long face, i think he'll carry the upbeat momentum and play "commedia dell'arte" and then "coffin".
he probably won't play "hear me now" seeing as its one of his less popular songs, but a girl can dream.
so thats #4.
(3/?) "NOLA" is going to be the 5th song. i will not elaborate. i can sense this. i have money riding on this.
then a switchup to some slower songs atp- "maker" and "donizetti" in specific, bc they go great together
(4/?) keeping the slower music going, he'll play "come to me" and "st. louis". i would say "the trial" but he's
never performed it live before and i can't see him starting now. also far too sad for a tvl concert. i don't think
i'd survive, so maybe it's for the better.

"so proud of you (end quote)" which ik isn't a tvl song but a satan's night out song from before he joined the
band, but. it'd be fun i think. so there

"revenge" bc those songs are just written to be played live. and then. ending song. "all fall down" bc its his
