Tornado

Summary:

There was a time in my life where I feared everything.

I feared the sun and the moon and the stars and the oh so detailed skies that flashed of cosmic blues and purples in the night.

Why? Well, I don't know know why either. I simply assumed that it wasn't worth thinking about.

But, in the back of my mind. Maybe the fear derived from the blatant mystery these things held. A certain kind of mystery which is attractive and romantic. Which is exactly why I feared it.

I never know what to expect.

Chapter Text

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BE-

My fist crashed my phone, the alarm shutting up. It was too early in the morning for me to be dealing with this bull crap of an alarm.

I really wanted to get it changed. It always seemed to make my full mornings way too loud.

...And I hated waking up with a jolt. It was always a starting morning. Sure it woke me up but, I never exactly enjoyed it.

It was blurry at first, and it took a while for me to focus, my pupils couldn't seem to register the filtered sunlight in my room. I was still able to reach for the phone that I placed beside my pillow before I fell asleep.

The harsh blue lights were blinding, but my eyes fell upon the notifications displayed under the time, which was 6:30 a.m., school starts at 8.

Below the time was a message from my friend, Allysa. "Yo check out the weather report for this week, we might not have school today :D"

God, I wish. If we didn't have school today, I would've spotted the email within the notifications. With every cell that's awake, I whip the blanket off and hoist my back up, the dull ache echoed though my spine and rode back down to my hip where it remained.

I am finally sat up. This is how my morning routine usually goes.
