Harry and company seeing the multiverse

Summary:

Harry wakes up in a place he doesn't recognize. He's not at Hogwarts, nor at Grimmauld Place.

Around him are his fifth-year classmates, some members of the Order of the Phoenix, and even certain Slytherins he never imagined sharing a space with.

No one knows how they got there; and no one can use magic to get out.

In front of them, a screen begins to show scenes that shouldn't exist: moments from the past… and fragments of a future that hasn't yet happened... as well as things that never happened and things that magicians don't know about

What PJ's Characters Are Seeing and Hearing

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

"Harry... Harry... wake up, Harry" was what he heard and woke up Harry Potter, the 15-year-old wizard known as the boy who lived to see who owned the voice, his friend Hermione Granger, who was next to him, as well as Remus Lupin, Sirius in his Animagus form, Neville, the twins, their brother Bill, Fleur, Tonks, and some adults Harry didn't recognize.

Confused, James and Lily Potter's son stared at them for a moment before looking around, only to be further shocked and confused to see that he was along with everyone else in what appeared to be a small movie theater. And as he looked around, he noticed that there were other people as well.

Alastor 'Mad-Eye' Moody, a black-haired Slytherin girl, a blonde girl, and a Ravenclaw girl younger than the other two, with four adults, in whom he could see the physical resemblance to the girls.

Potter also singled out Amelia Bones, the only member of the magical jury who allowed him to speak in the sham trial organized by the Minister to take away Harry's magic; next to her was her niece Susan, who was with her best friend Hannah, both waking up from unconsciousness.

Also, Professor Filius Flitwick standing near the head of the Aurors, although Lily's son barely noticed him.

"What-what's going on?" he asked those closest to him, causing them to look at each other for a moment before Remus was the one to answer

"We don't know how, Harry... but someone brought us here and just left a note about wanting to show us several things that would help us"

"Did someone bring us?, and show us what things?" asked the Potter again, confused about what he heard while more questions formed in his mind

"The note doesn't say what he wanted to help us with, only that he would start showing it in this ... cinema... once we were all awake. Oh, and his name Arcanus, or so the note says" this time it was Hermione Granger who replied to Potter before introducing him to his parents Dan and Emma, followed by Tonks introducing his own upon seeing Harry's confused look at her mother Andromeda and father Ted.

"But that's-"

But before anyone else could say anything the room began to darken, as the screen in front of them began to light up

++++++++++++++

Among the others present in the room, they had various feelings such as suspicion or distrust, since no one knew why they were brought in, specifically them, as in the case of Amelia, the Greengrass family or the Davis family.

They kept a close eye on each other, not to mention the fact that they hadn't found a way out.

But the one who was most angry was Moody, because after his experience of being locked in a trunk for almost a year, the fact of having been kidnapped once again… made him furious.

And they had other questions like: how could someone have managed to kidnap them all? And how was it possible that none of them could remember being attacked or confronted before waking up in that place?

++++++++++++++

To say that Harry Potter was confused was an understatement, and the explanation they gave him didn't say much. Who was this Arcanus, and what did he want to show them that could help them?

But he wasn't the only one in that state, although the young wizard was one of the most emotionally disturbed at that moment, because he'd just woken up and remembered that before doing so, they'd just eaten at Grimmauld Place, with Mr. Weasley thanking him again for alerting Dumbledore that he'd been attacked by Voldemort's snake.

However, that's just before going up to the room Potter shared with Ron and the twins, which is the moment when everything goes black in his memory.

Besides the fact that Sirius is here, it's no surprise that he was worried about his godfather's identity being discovered by Amelia Bones, who is the head of the Auror department, or some of the other adults he doesn't know.

However, the teen boy wasn't very discreet; the head of the DMLE had noticed the glances he gave her, as well as the dog, to which the woman merely raised an eyebrow at how... peculiar the youngest Potter was acting... with only Moody noticing it due to his magical eye.

But everyone's attention was drawn to the screen when a man of color was shown, as well as another Caucasian man with dark hair and green eyes very familiar to magicians.

Although from the way he was dressed he seemed to be someone who was poor, in bad financial straits or even a homeless person, mainly because he had long hair and an unkempt beard which, like his clothes, was dirty and disheveled.

However, they frowned, finding the man somewhat familiar, especially those who had interacted with James Potter as an adult, and even more so those who had known his father; such as Amelia Bones, who had worked with him a couple of times, or several of the original members of the Order of the Phoenix... though most didn't realize that's the reason.

"The shrine of our guide, the Ancient One" Karl Mordo said as he and the man who accompanied him walked through the corridors of what looked like an eastern monastery

"Ancient One?... and... Does he have a name?" asked the other man, confused and surprised by the name, to which Mordo just looked at him.

"Who are they?" the twins were the ones who asked the question that everyone had

"No idea," several others said, because nobody knew who the men on screen they were watching were.

However, in the case of Remus and Sirius in their Animagus forms, they were still staring at the green-eyed man on the screen with great attention, as they were among the few who really noticed that the facial features they could see that weren't covered by his beard or hair looked all too similar to James and Harry.

Under his gaze, he remembered what Mordo had told him before entering the place "Sure, forgetting everything I think I know, sorry I forgot" the green-eyed man apologized, and Mordo signaled for him to enter one of the rooms

"What?"

"What did you mean by that?"

"Did you also find it strange?"

Several of the adults, such as the Greengrasses, Davis, Moody, Amelia, Bill, and some of the teenagers, such as Daphne, Susan, and the twins, among others, raised an eyebrow or found it strange what they heard about the bearded man having to forget everything he thinks he knows.

When the disheveled man entered the room, he saw a couple of men standing, as well as an older man sitting in a chair reading a book, who turned to look at him for a moment before concentrating again on his reading.

But Harrison, thinking it was the person Mordo had told him about, was going to greet them and thank that old man for seeing him "Thank you for-"

However, the man was interrupted when two of the men standing nearby approached him to help him remove his old, dirty coat, surprising him in the process.

"Okay... that was weird..." he said quietly before turning back to the man in the chair. "Thank you for-" he tried to speak to the man again, before someone else approached him with a cup, which he thanked them for, but due to the damage to his hands, he had to hold it by the bottom with both hands. "Thank you."

"Servants?" said Circe Greengrass, unsure of the actions of the other people helping the green-eyed man, while the one who had given her the warning just watched what was happening.

"I don't think so," his wife told him, who, like a few others, thought that wasn't the case. "It must be something else."

"Thank you," the green-eyed man said again as a bald woman approached him with a teapot to serve him tea, before trying to speak again with the seated man. "Thank you, Ancient one, for... attending to me" he looked confused at the man as he stood up and left the room, but was surprised by the woman who was serving his tea because she replied

"Really, it's a pleasure," he looked at her confused for a moment before turning to look at Mordo and then turning to look at the woman.

"Thank you, Master Mordo, thank you, Master Hamir," the woman said to the others in the room before focusing on the green-eyed man as everyone else left, except for Mordo.

"Ahh..."

"Eh..."

"What?"

"Are you confused too?"

Wizards and Muggles were confused too, with the twins asking others to make sure they weren't the only ones who understood that the woman with the shaved head was the one who held that title.

Because of that nickname of 'Ancient one' they all expected someone older, whether male or female, who was at least over sixty years old on Hermione's parents' side and between a decade or two older on the wizards' side, but the woman seemed to be barely in her 40s.

Although several of the women had frowned or raised their eyebrows in surprise at the woman's apparent baldness, since it wasn't something seen in witches, the most surprised were those who grew up completely in the wizarding world like the students from three other Hogwarts houses.

But even in the non-magical world it was strange, with this being thought by Hermione, her mother and Nymphadora who had grown up in both worlds due to her parents, because her father being a son of muggles who studied law after Hogwarts and was a lawyer in both worlds, but mainly in the non-magical.

"Mr. Harrison Strange," Ancient One greeting

"Doctor Strange, actually," the aforementioned made a correction by force of habit

"But not anymore, I guess... wasn't that what brought you here?"

Harrison looked at the woman, confused, wondering how she knew as he sipped his tea. He was confused, but he guessed she must have seen the news about his accident, even though it went unnoticed by most, unless she was part of certain circles in the medical world.

But the surprise increased with what she said next: "You've already had several surgeries, how many?... seven?", because that wasn't public knowledge.

"Surgeries? / accident?" Hermione's parents wondered, listening to the narration and what the people on the screen were saying.

"Why are we seeing Muggles?" on other hand, Beatrice Davis wondered after recognizing the word surgery, since she was a Muggle-born.

However, she'd left that world behind since her adolescence, but was confused about how this would help them or what she was supposed to help them with.

"How is this supposed to help in any way?" she asked again, not directing the question to anyone in particular, as she recalled the note that all those who woke up first had read.

"Maybe it's not for us," Tracey Davis's father said before giving a brief glance to the non-magical couple between them and easily recognizing that his wife was thinking aloud.

As for the others, some, like Sirius, the twins, Remus, and a few others, noticed that the name Harrison could be shortened to Harry, which seemed like a peculiar coincidence to them. However, in Moody's case, he didn't believe in coincidences… something else was going on, but he didn't yet know what.

"Yes... the... tea is delicious," was the only thing he said, , not quite knowing what to say about how she knew all that

"Yes, it is" said the woman as she walked over to one of the tables to put down the pitcher with more tea

"And you healed a man named Pangborn who suffered from paralysis?" Strange asked, trying to avoid the awkwardness and wanting to hear from her what Jonathan Pangborn had told him, so he could ask how she healed him since his condition was supposedly incurable... just like Strange's hands.

"Something like that"

The Grangers were the ones who best understood what was happening, with Hermione's parents having some ideas about the reason, or rather about what kind of paralysis it could be, based on what they'd heard so far.

While the others understood more or less of the conversation and the narration, especially those who had more contact with the Muggle world; but one of the Grangers' assumptions was confirmed by what they heard next.

"You helped him walk again"

"Yes"

"It was a complete spinal cord injury, how did you correct it?"

"Incredible/Amazing" said Hermione's parents upon hearing where the problem was, knowing how serious the injuries were to that part of her back.

They may have been dentists, but like their daughter, they both enjoy learning and staying informed, so they have several magazines and books at home about medicine, science, culture, advancements, and more. But unlike their daughter, they aren't obsessed with learning; they know when to relax and enjoy life.

Although they were still confused about what was happening, but considering that their daughter was a witch and they were in the presence of other wizards, they believed that perhaps they were seeing the future or something like that.

"I didn't correct it, he didn't walk, I convinced him that he could."

"Are you saying it was psychosomatic?"

"Psycho-what?" said both Hannah and Susan, who, like the rest of the wizards who grew up in the magical world, were having more difficulty following the conversation since they were unfamiliar with the terms used by the woman and the green-eyed man on the screen.

"It's complicated to explain," said Mrs. Granger after listening to the two girls who appeared to be about her daughter's age. "But broadly speaking, in psychosomatic problems, the mind plays a big role; the ailment, problem, or illness can be worse because the patient believes it to be."

The rest of the wizards and witches paid attention to the woman, and several tried to understand how that's possible with non-magical people, since the only cases they knew of that were like that involved some spell or curse.

"When you reconnect a severed nerve, is it you who repairs it or the body?" asked Ancient One

"It's the cells"

"Cells?" could be heard in the small room from all the wizards born and raised in the magical world, with only Harry, Hermione, their parents, Ted and Tonks knowing what the cells of the body are.

But the Grangers looked with a mixture of surprise and disbelief at several of the other spectators, whom they heard say that word with confusion.

"And they are programmed to be grouped in very specific ways"

"That's right"

"And if I told you what your body can be convinced to change those groupings in all kinds of ways," Strange was surprised by what he heard, and it was because of that same surprise that he approached the table next to her.

Now only Hermione's parents and, to a lesser extent, her daughter (because attending Hogwarts left her without access to a normal education) were understanding what the woman was implying, because the wizards were turning to look at each other with expressions that betrayed how lost they were.

"Are you talking about cell regeneration?" Harrison said, very surprised.

"Cellular regeneration?" Astoria Greengrass looked at her sister's best friend, hoping she knew what that was, but the dark-haired girl just shrugged before speaking.

"I don't know what that is," she said. She might have been a half-blood, because she'd grown up her whole life in the magical world, so she turned to her mother to ask her, who seemed to be trying to remember what it was, but without success.

"It's the latest in medicine, is that why you're working here?... Without a medical board? Tell me... tell me, how experimental is your treatment?" Harrison Strange asked, but anyone could hear the hope in his voice, as the ancient handed a cup of tea to Mordo, who was standing a few steps away from them.

"Mmm... quite a lot"

They watched the image fade, leaving a mostly confused audience, but because they'd heard that 'cell regeneration is the latest thing in medicine', the magicians assumed that's why they'd never heard of it before, but they were still confused about what a cell actually was.

"Did anyone understand what they were talking about?" Bill asked before anyone else, looking at Hermione and her parents because they lacked the confusion that everyone else had on their faces.

"…. Well, what they were saying was…" after a moment of silence, Dan Granger began to explain the witnessed conversation that the rest hadn't understood, but it was after both he and his wife had looked for a moment at their daughter and the wizards.

And the teenager had to restrain herself from explaining what she could understand when she noticed her parents' gaze on her; but even they were surprised, because what she heard was supposed to be decades away from being achieved by researchers and scientists.
