Oakhurst…that cursed land.you wonder probably why I go there.well you will find out soon.

There the wooden walls of Oakhurst..at least they still there..

well the town looks dead..seems like the rumors of the massacre are not false…

Looking around I see two young man’s approaching..

"Hello?Hi..Hi!"

There were two guys.one who looked like a butler.and the other guy..looks familiar..?probably saw him on my travels once..

"Hey there.I didn’t expect to see other people" most likely death corpse but not people…

“you live here?" The guy asked.

“No,No,no,no I just got here!Um,..” I need a good lie!what could be said.. "I..was wandering through the woods.."

they seem to believe it..?judging by their looks..

"I heard this..there’s this town here Oakhurst…?uh.." looking around seeing how broken and lost that town looked..

"yeah" I heard not recognizing the voice but believing it’s the butler when I looked back to them.

"I was expecting a bit more if I’m honest.." 

I didn’t think that the stories and rumors of Oakhurst will bring people to the place..great..what’s next?more people?

"What is this?" Garlic seeds…of course..the town is lost but the garlic survives..

“ohh" I made it sound more exciting than I was gonna to.. "I found some Garlic" 

"Oh that’s very good to have”

 i turned around to the new voice and met a guy wearing a cloth..?looks like a bed sheet..

"Oh hello there.." 

"finally a townsfolk member!"

"No.this place is a dump” the guy in bed sheets said..well he is not wrong.

"Yeah a mess..well we got to do something about that,right?” they will not do that..probably..

"Well at least you got garlic,you know that’s cool" yes garlic..what is not something I prefer to eat.

"We’ll be able to cook some" for you guys sure, bed sheet guy..

"Are you like in a cloth?Like, is this like a bed sheet?what are we uh.." 

"Oh yeah.Are you a little ghost?” He is definitely not one..

“I’m a doctor"  The guy in bed sheets answered..oh wait now I see it..

"Cuz you look like you escaped from somewhere like like an asylum." I don’t think I should have said that…

"of some sort..kind of you know..?"

"Oh yeah" great!he(sausage)agrees.

"Not today" the 'Doctor' answered.well that’s a way of saying no..so a butler and random guy who looks familiar and a doctor..what’s next?a detective?

"I’m a man of science myself.So not quite in surgery.more in science, research, potions making that kind of things.” 

"Oh that’s cool.thats very nice"

"Excellent"

"Alchemy?"

"Oh absolutely.Yes I am very well versed in that oh yes" at least someone knows something..

“You know how to make beer?I love a good beer." Yes but not for you..

“Uh..you know I have I I haven’t done the research in that tree, unfortunately." Well here we go..

"I’ve gone down the..Vampire murdering tree of alchemy." I Slowly pull out my sword while looking at them.

"Oh"

"Oh I’m going to find every single one that I can find and I’m going to get them."

"Oh great.So, he’s a lunatic.Wonderful"

Great…more people.

At least someone suggested to introduce each other.

The guy who introduced himself first was Renhard Dogmourne.a guy with weird accent.

Next was the butler who named is Abolish.who says he is not a butler still helps at a manor just not a butler.

After his introduction a new person arrived who comes from the military..or well was sent from the military.her name is Apo.seems like Oakhurst became a tourist trap that they had to send someone here to stop people from coming here.

Then there was M.or sausage the other guy who I first saw in town besides of Abolish.he is a writer.and now I remember where I recognized him.he wrote those  twilight novels..very incorrect with some vampires well knowledge..

Then there is drift.a detective.follows me around after she said to me that 'she gets the feeling like she knows me before' what could be possible.but she doesn’t believe in supernatural things what could be a good thing.

“Is this one with the big foot?” 

"So your the guy they sent.."

That voice..when I looked to where the voice came from,I felt like the word just stopped..

There he was..

That godamm handsome vampire doesn’t recognize me!?

“Don’t listen to the Bigfoot gal.she’s kind of downplaying the whole seriousness of the situation right now.okay?"

"Oh wow,thank you for the potatoes” not really. "That’s wonderful" really isn’t..

there is another new guy..blond one with noble look like clothes..

The blond noble introduced himself Martyn Woodhurst, saying his father either left him or didn’t notice he fell off the carriage.interesting story but i don’t believe he is a noble.i met enough noble to see if they noble or not.

What was surprising when I heard someone here has ancestor from Oakhurst.her name is Cleo and her family were farmers.i wonder if she knows about the vampires..or at least the history of it.

Oh boy..the beacon..and they consecrating it..not a good idea if I were them.well while they busy with the beacon I could maybe get some snacks-

"Come Scott,Avid join us!” Fuck.

Before I could refuse, Scott grab me by my shoulder and push me towards the beacon only to stop the consecration not only because I got to close but also Scott..

Martyn seems to notice it happens but Scott pushed the blame to Cleo who seem to stand up.

“That’s really weird.."

I tried to sound confused like some other people.

well seems like Scott got away because when I looked where he was standing he was gone.well not my problem-

A weird feeling..the beacon..looking at it,it was filled with divine energy..holy.

I shook my head,holy beacon will be up to no good..hm seeing that everyone is busy with the beacon and wonder what happened..they will probably not notice that I be gone for a while..

After getting a snack, the new townspeople are planning to build the houses.i end up having drift coming with me to chop some trees down.

"What‘s the game plan here?are we just gonna collect some stuff?build up a safe shelter?" What else do you expect us to do?I mean she can not do that and try to life in those broken buildings. be my guest.

"Pretty much.i mean my goal is to kind of wait for long enough for one of the vampires to reveal themselves cuz obviously there’s a vampire in town."

"Well you’re going to be waiting for pretty long time, because those things simply don’t exist" suree you will still say it when I show you one.

"Well if you feel that way,that’s fine. But I will do everything I can do to protect you when it does happen.before I will say 'I told you they exist'."

She was quiet for a moment, I thought she will leave me alone but I was wrong.

"Can I ask you a question?“

I only nod looking at her.

"Why are you so hung up on the idea of vampires?"

Because they real and are danger for humans.

"I’ve seen one.simple.really.“

I didn’t really care to explain much.but if she ask I will.

"What do you mean?are you sure it wasn’t a human with sharp teeth?"

"Yes I’m sure.someone really close to me..well I had to take care of them when they were turned." 

Drift looked at me puzzled "Turned?what do you mean?“

Silver.i forgot that Oakhurst is know for a Silver Place.

while talking,mining and such I end up  to build a house with her.better then nothing..?drift is okay.she reminds me of people I knew..long ago.It’s just..weird..

where did I heard the talk of unicorns again?not sure.

getting out of the well pit we met Owen.a lumberjack.he talks about wolves and seems to believe in the supernatural but not vampires.

i have the feeling everyone believes in anything but vampires..it

Will be hilarious when they find out they exist.

If the beacons were not the worst thing I saw today then this.and I mean THIS sure made it worse…just watching Sausage using it was worse to watch..quiet funny too.

What happened after that i don’t remember that well. it seems like the role of "the vampire hunter" is very believable since the doc and Cleo are asking me about vampires or more mock me about it.even when I just said smth about silver they went on vampires.i left as soon the goldsmith joined the conversation.

"We should name the house"  drift exclaimed.name the house?

"Why?"

"To give it personality.obviously."

It’s a house.but sure for fun.

"What should we name it?"

I left drift with the building she seems to handle it.walking through the town seeing the new building being built was not new for me.i saw it often with Humans.

Nothing new.as soon the vampires act.this will be destroyed.again.always the same with Oakhurst.you try to build something and it get destroyed.either by strangers or your own people.worst yourself.

How did i end up talking to Bigfoot gal?oh yeahh I talked to blond noble boy about vampires.and put a sign about 'vampires are real‘.

I walked away not wanting to have a long conversation about it.

Why are this two fighting?is this normal?looking around I see goldsmith,Shelby,Drift ,Cleo and Owen watching like it happens every Tuesday.

"Everyone has such beautiful homes.i feel like uh we should do a little bit of home rating tour.you know we go around rate everyone’s homes and we see what we think"

Looking around I was met with him.standing next to me.

"Ohh like a 'welcome to my crib’ kind of situation?"

"Yeah we giver score on and then put the score on the house and that’s permanent in forever."

Everyone agreed on it but for the next day since many are not done and have no roof.

Sleep.vampires don’t really sleep.i was going to left to go hunting but drift caught me and I lied about needing some fresh air what she surprisingly believed.

Walking through the woods I made my mind up.

I keep the whole vampire hunter with sad backstory.

well I will not lie about everything.i was a vampire hunters partner.i knew a vampire hunter.killed them too.that was not a lie.just the reason why i killed them was a lie.but they don’t need to know.

Certainties and uncertainties.

Certainties:

14 people are in Oakhurst.

two vampires.

Goldsmith is awake.and alive.

he doesn’t recognize me or is pretending not to recognize me.either way would not change much.

the people don’t believe in supernatural or well more in vampires.

They see me as an lunatic vampire hunter.

The beacons and holy books are still here..

Uncertainties: 

there could be more vampires without my knowledge.

how big of problems will the beacons and what are they here for?

How will the humans react if they find out about vampires being real?

What will they do to ME when they find out im one and lied to them?

"Chase them out!get rid of them!"

Huh it’s getting day soon.i should head back before drift wakes up

"You guys going out exploring?"

"Yeah you guys going?"

Drift and I asked Cleo and Pearl who were going to left town.

"We’re going to explore,yeah."

I glance at drift she was looking at them.

This is going better than I imagine.pearl seems not that bad.while cleo is okay.

Speaking of seeing..a tower with another beacon.

While the girls were getting close I just watched them.if I get closer it will stop their consecration.

Looking around waiting for them to finish the consecration was boring.they did ask me why I won’t help and I just said i don’t trust these things like a saint person would do.

"Oh I thought I saw some sign of people being here"

And there they talk..

Looking to her while the other three girls walked forward.

in fact I met some.Owen is clearly hiding something.he could be a vampire.i should look into it later.

"Oh and I got this from Apo.they stabbed me with it.but I think they were just testing me"

They what?well at least I know she is not a vampire(yet).that military girl..I need to keep an eye on her.

"Is that a stake?a wooden stake…well if you can stake a vampire with that.it‘ll kill them forever for good."

She wouldn’t use it when she sees one.

I jolted back when I heard his voice.there he was standing at the wooden gates looking at us.

It seems like nobody was in town.well that will make the other find out that they stuck here sooner.

This is the second person.or third?that talks about a plague.the only plague is that vampires are always here in Oakhurst.

Insomniac..why did I not use that excuse!though it does sound suspicious if I was a paranoid vampire hunter, what I am not.I’m just acting.

I’m hungry..the whole time i couldn’t eat because i was with Shelby.

And i couldn’t go hunting because of that.

I admitted while walking to his house looking up smiling.

"Thanks I’m still working on it.hey did you find any vampires yet?you've gotta tell me ,I want to put it in my book!"

"Right..Well, we sort of found something kind of suspicious while looking for the beacons." Drift announced while looking at Pearl.what could they possibly find?

"You’ve all seen the beacons around us,right?Ranging from tan to gold?“

Everyone nods or says yes.

"Uhh…have you seen a red one?"

Ohhh now that’s a good sign!whoever did it, did a great job.

Everyone seems puzzled.they all clueless..

I spaced out for a while not really caring about their talk about the beacons.

"We also may have come across a very large tomb."

"What?" I didn’t realize I said that out loud.did they go to the crypt?

"It was within like a giant ruined castle.had a really grand broken bridge leading up to it.i went down a ladder and found this big underground tomb and nobody was in it.there was nobody. it was nothing."

"Maybe a zombie was in it?" I sarcastically said.

"You obviously think that it was Scott."

Sausage really gets on my nerves..

I transformed into a bat,grabbing a handful smashed dust of garlic.flying then towards Scott throwing the smashed garlic onto him.and flying away as fast as I could.

And everyone went on it’s theory and Cleo practically screams(not really scream) it was a plague.

At the end everyone agreed to leave to go to their home.'decorate the place‘ or 'make it more comfy‘ like they said.

Drift and I made a bath.i forgot for what reason but I think it was because of that comment of Scott said about my clothes..?

So Owen is an vampire and pyro is the new vampire.a fledgling.

And Owen had massacred the town 200 years ago.he is a young vampire.i let Goldsmith deal with them.seeing that he did not mention me.what is good for now.

Flying away from them, transforming back sitting down on a stone.

"What a day.i wish she was here to see this.Oakhurst surely never gets old."
