Chapter Text
My name is Percy Jackson, my father is a very well-known man definitely not a terrorist to anyone, he's called Lord Poseidon or also known as shaky-tempered tyrant but hey he's improving kind of?
My mother is also well known legend named Odysseus know the only reason he's still alive is well let's blame that to my wonderful uncle Zeus who well yeah has serious hatred for my innocent mother.
Know this story is about me and my journey on retreving my perverted uncle's lighting bolt who blames me?
Now I don't how I can steal his bolt, I'm not even that strong so yeah I'm sadly getting accused and being pushed into a whole new world. I need a therapist thank you very much and here's a little story of how my mama managed to carry me
Odysseus clutched the infant in his arms wanting to hide him from all the dangers and the destruction of the city below.
This is the son of none other than Troy's very own Prince Hector
Know that he will grow from a boy to an avenger
One fueled with rage as you're consumed by age
If you don't end him now, you'll have no one left to save
Odysseus hesitated at the demand staring at the innocent babe in his arms who stared curiously back at him with the same innocence of his dear Telemachus who was only 2 months old when Odysseus was forced to leave for this war.
"I could raise him as my own"
"he will burn your house and throne" the God shouted sneered in raged, how dare this mortal ignore his demands?!
"Or send him far away from home" Odysseus countered with desperation creeping into is voice.
"he'll find you wherever you go"
"Make sure his past is never known" Odysseus pleaded grasping at how broken his voice seemed like.
"the gods will make him know"
Odysseus fell down on his knees clutching the infant tightly, the cold stone biting into his flesh as he stared up at Zeus pleading. "I'd rather bleed for ya, down on my knees for ya, I'm begging please"
"Oh, this is the will of the gods"
Odysseus stared down, he won't give up "I'm just a man...." until a woman in armour, materialized out of thin air gleaming with a bright light as she position herself between her enraged father and her favoured mortal (which she would never admit that Odysseus is her favourite).
"Father" the woman spoke clearly and steady as she stared up and down at him challenging his gaze "Let him raise the child as his own".
Zeus face twisted in anger and hatred as lighting started to crackle in his finger tips but Athena stood her ground, her eyes meeting his without fear or hesitation.
"You dare defy me? Make me feel shame" Zeus voice rumbled in anger as he then turned to look at the kneeling in Odysseus "and you mortal, think mercy spares your life?" He laughed as he continued smirking in victory "Then let this be your curse: may your line multiply beyond counting, fertile as the fields after rain, endless heirs to bear the weight of every choice you've made today."
The God continued while cackling "Let them fill your halls, your ships, your grave—until the sheer number reminds you what mercy truly costs until you truly realise the mistake of angering The King of Gods, Ruler of Mount Olympics, God of Sky and Thunder, remember this punishment you cunning mortal"
The King of Gods laughed once again, as he shook his hand making bolts of raw energy lash out as he disappeared into thin air leaving a bitter and echo sound of his laughter behind.
