“Second NEL match finished! And a huge winnnnn” Shidou whispered to himself in quiet celebration before leaving the stadium through the front door of the stadium. Shidou pulled his phone out from his pocket ready to go call sae about the win that was 1000% shidou's work (he really only did one of those three goals but if you squint then he basically did them all.)
Shidou’s jaw dropped in awe as he stared at the person in front him. He did NOT expect to see Sae outside of the stadium leaning on the side with his black sweats and Jojo's bizarre adventures T-shirt. Shidou never knew that Sae was into jojo’s like that, he’ll have to talk to him about it! god was he excited, ecstatic even! Although looking at him now, he looks way taller than before and his hair was darker. Maybe he started eating more? Was it age? Was it the angle? The light? oh whatever sae is sae afterall ! Shidou smiled devilishly before speed walking over to Sae, sliding his phone back into his pocket,before stopping abruptly after seeing HIS captain (aka THE Julian Loki) go over to his Sae!? stupid loki and his baggy jeans and that goddamn white sweater..shidou brows furrowed seeing the two together. Shidou stood behind watching the two talk so closely together, they were almost holding hands from how close they were! the blonde frowned as his jealousy grew louder quickly. Shidou's jealousy grew even bigger as he saw Sae lean down to kiss Loki. He took a step toward ready to go ahead and fight before he felt a lightbulb go off in his head. What if he followed them..? What if he waited to confront Sae about cheating in public.. Shidou grinned evilly as he silently praised himself for his smart thinking. God wasn't he so great!! He giggled to himself as he started to dig in his bag after remembering he had brought a juicy couture cap. He quickly put it on his head and titled it down ready to hunt his prey!! kinda sounds like a porno if you ask him- Shidou blinked slowly as he realized the two weren't in front of him anymore. Did they go left? or right? Shidou squinted looking at all the possible ways they could’ve gone before he finally spotted them across the street already! Shidou quickly followed as he silently thanked the crowds on the street for covering him while still giving him access to see his Sae and his stupid captain..shidou frowned again seeing that the two were holding hands now. Christ, did sae really get that much taller from the last time he saw him? He really hasn't seen Sae since the u-20 match and whenever they went back to Shidou's dorm and of course their 5 dates they had followed up on said u-20 match.. But I mean he's like towering over Loki, when did he have the time to grow so tall..was it the shoes?
Shidou’s thoughts were cut off once again as realized he had to slow down since the pair had found their first date location. They entered a store together or more like Sae dragging Loki by the arm into said store. It was some Japanese snack shop, all cutesy and pink. Shidou hid himself by leaning against the side of the pink carnival looking shop. Looking through the window Shidou could feel his mouth water from all of those snacks that he missed oh so much. He was half tempted to just enter the store and buy a shit ton of snacks himself butttt they’ll see him and it's too soon for anything...why ruin the fun? Honestly at this point he just wants to see if saes happier with that guy than he is with him. I mean they aren't even really “dating" but still…cant help that it hurts to think about the fact Sae hasn't been texting anymore..maybe he was a fool to think someone like sae was really all that faithful but a guy can hope right?
He shook himself out of his own thoughts and stared back at the pair, Sae’s back was facing him only leaving Loki in his sight as he was looking at Sae while he talked about snacks or whatever it was he had in his hand. Maybe Shidou had just never paid much attention but when did Sae become such a hand talker? Seriously this guy is moving like a tiktok glover would, it's insane how much of a hand talker Sae became. Shidou's eyes shifted over to Loki and gosh. That guy had such a love stricken look in his eyes. Seriously he was staring as if he was thanking the heavens for blessing him with his own guardian angel boyfriend.
Maybe Shidou's heart ached a little from knowing that Sae or any guy he's talked to over the years never looked at him like that, maybe he thought about walking away right now and just dealing with the fact that Sae wasn’t gonna like him like that but he couldn't help hope that maybe it wasn't Sae. That the guy he's been following this entire time wasn’t Sae at all.
Shidou teared his eyes away from the two, deciding to give them their moment or whatever it was. Shidou thought about giving up again completely but that's not like him at all. Plus even if Sae did cheat there's no way he's gonna let him get away with it.
Shidou was so caught up in his thoughts he almost missed the two leaving the store with “Sae’s” arm wrapped around Loki's leaning into him even though Loki's wayy shorter than him. He felt kinda bad for Loki honestly, that cannot be comfortable in any way,shape or form but somehow he looks pretty content? The blonde let the two walk in front for a while before walking with them to wherever they were heading next.
Are they seriously going to Burger King right now?< I mean to be fair he’s had some weird date locations with guys before but a burger king? Shidou's not even shocked by the location but more the fact that julian loki agreed or brought up a burger king date. But Shidou did have the brain to realize that this might be the best moment to walk up to Sae and crash their little date. He would just have to sit alone at a table and wait, possibly doomscroll while he’s at it. Charles probably sent him some tweets to look at.
Shidou let the two enter first and leaned on the side of burger king so they wouldn't see him and deem him suspicious, he may be a little dumb but he's got the brains to know when not to be an idiot, this moment is one of the very few times he does have a brain thought. Unfortunately.
Shidou pulled his phone out from his pocket and doom scrolled on twitter until he was taken out of his trance-like state after he got a text from karasu asking where he was.
Karasu wouldn't mind if he didn't respond..right? Oh whatever.
It's been long enough to enter without being too suspicious, right? Shidou shrugged before deciding to just walk in and get it over with.
The blonde walked into the restaurant and looked around to see where the other two were sitting. Loki isnt next to Sae..
Shidou spent no time rushing over to the booth in the corner where his “sae” was sitting by himself, he plopped himself down in front of his situationship/bf/notbf with a huge smile. Even after knowing that he was probably cheating and wasn’t loyal, and didn't stare at him with as much love as loki did, he couldn't help but still crave his attention, his comments, his bluntness.
“Hey Sae baby-!!!” Shidou immediately after sitting down in the empty cushion seat, “Sae” looked up from his phone with a deadpan stare.
“Oh-” gosh Shidous has never been happier but embarrassed at the same time because that is NOT Sae Itoshi. Although that guy in front of him is insanely beautiful if he's being totally honest.
“You thought I was Sae? Like Sae Itoshi? You confused a white guy with a Japanese guy?”
“Of course not!! Just a slip of the tongue! Hey, what's your name? your lashes are insane bro”
Shidou saw as the other guy shut his mouth and looked to the right before he could respond to Shidou.
“Hey,Shidou Ryusei-” Shidou felt himself physically and mentally jump from hearing Loki’s voice. -do you mind getting out of my seat? ”
Sure Loki’s gotten mad at Shidou before yelled at him to get to practice instead of talking to Karasu about objects they’d fuck and whatever stuff he was doing instead of praticing and training but jesus, he sounded nothing short of just pure passive aggressiveness. Finally a good reaction out of Loki..Two wins in the span of 10 minutes.
Shidou grinned and stared up at his captain.
“Sorry big boss, thought this seat was empty, you know? Though you should know I wouldn't dare flirt with anyone but my dear Sae!”
“So? Get out already, the match ended more than an hour ago, Shidou.”
Before the older of the two could reply to Loki’s comment the other “Sae” spoke up.
“Hey Shidou guy, guess what, i just got a text from Sae. says he misses you”
Shidou has never gotten up faster in his life, he yelled out a quick bye before he left the restaurant skipping in joy. Seriously, that Sae look-alike had him losing his mind! Maybe Sae does love him afterall! He should go call him right now!

Hugo broke the silence that followed after the blonde left as he reached over to Loki’s side and took a sip of Loki's drink.
“Hey Julian, what's that kids relationship with Sae?”
Loki sighed as he sat back down after rudely having his seat taken, brows still furrowed and eyes trailing Hugo’s action.
“Dating or something, I dont know, I mean you know how Sae is, you talk to bunny all the time”
The brunette angerly shoved a fry in his mouth seemingly stilled pissed about the interruption but giving Hugo the moment to rant on.
“Speaking of bunny and Sae, they got back together again, do you think that blonde knows Sae left Japan and is currently at bunny’s apartment?”
“Don't be mean now.”
“I barely said anything, but it's true sometimes I kinda think bunny and Sae are fated together.
two assholes equals one..”
Hugo mumbled that last sentence even though he knew Loki heard everything that came from his mouth.
Loki huffed a laugh at his comment as he took a sip from his drink that suddenly turned into their drink. The pxg captain spoke again staring into Hugo's own eyes.
“I’ll give you that kiss i promised if you’ll be nicer to everyone”
“okay yes whatever you want, ill do”
