“I didn’t mean for it to go this far.”
“We were just messing around”
“We told Johnny to stop, that he had enough.”
“We were just doing what Johnny told us to.”

I didn’t mean it. Really, I didn’t. It all happened so fast. We were chasing him home cause well…he started it first, so you can’t blame me. Anyway, we chased him and eventually caught him. Without hesitation, we all attacked him. It wasn’t just me, alright? Okay, maybe I told them to but it’s not like they don’t have free will. We…I just kept punching him until I got pulled away by the others. Someone was coming out of the building ahead. He was lying on the floor, face down after I had dropped him. I couldn't tell if his chest was moving and honestly I didn’t think much about it at the time, thought he was just out cold. I didn’t pay attention to the blood staining the floor and his chin. All of us just ran and didn’t look back once. Do I regret it? Course I do, I ain’t a psychopath or anything like that. I don’t enjoy seeing people in pain, not usually. Either way it doesn’t matter now. I’m sitting in a police station answering stupid questions and he’s dead. It was confirmed by the hospital a few hours ago. He’s dead. Daniel Larusso is dead. I killed him.
