Work Text:

"Oh, Hummelchen! Ju aʁe dʁiving us cʁazy~!"

The yellow scout parted from Blitzwing's valve nodes, licking the obscene amount of slick from his intake — his entire visage, servos, and upper chassis were soaked in it.

"'S what I do, Sparklight. Can't have my needy Pookie Bear wandering around the Nemesis, leaving a trail of all this behind them."

A whirr signalled the Multi-Changer shifting demeanors to Hothead. "Vell, vhat aʁe ju vaiting foʁ?! My valve isn't going to lick itself!"

Bumblebee gave the larger mech a condescending pat on their stabilizer. "Aww, somebot's wound up—"

Both mechs suddenly turned when they heard rustling in the nearby brush. Without a second thought, Icy took over and shoved the Autobot inside the closest hiding place he could think of.

"Well, well. If it ain't the rattlin' bolt of the Deceptican army. Didn't expect to see yas out 'ere so…late at night, as the human expression goes."

"Svindle. Vhat aʁe ju doing heʁe?" Icy flinched as he felt a kick inside him.

"Whaaat. A merchant can't scout a business meetin' place, spot a lumberin' Deceptican, and wonda why they 'ere?" Swindle peeked to the side to get a better glimpse at what or who was between the jet-tank's stabilizers. "Ya…need 'elp withat?" He added with a smirk and an optic ridge quirk.

Hothead whirred to the front and shouted at the merchant. "Not even in youʁ flux stage!"

Swindle lifted his servos. "It dun 'urt to ask." Looking around, he continued at a lower volume. "Though…this place gonna be swarmin' with Seekas soon, so yas better get outta 'ere 'fore Commanda Stilettos sniffs out the Autobat."

Random took over Blitzwing, curious about this new tidbit of information. "Ooo! Vhat does ze Aiʁ Commandeʁ vant zis time? A new polish foʁ his vings~?"

Swindle considered divulging Starscream's little secret request. "I could tell yas. Fo' a price."

Icy cut off Random's giggly fit. "Ve vill leave pʁomptly."

Swindle mono-shuttered at the Multi-changer, clicking as he pointed digit guns at them.

As soon as the purple-and-gold frame disappeared into the forest, Blitzwing let out a long ex-vent, popping their array panels open to fish out their Sparkmate.

"Blitz! You—STCHK!" A strand of slick was expelled from Bumblebee's rhinal piece. "Uuugh…I've…never…"

Blitzwing placed the drenched scout on the ground. "I deeply apologize, mein Schatz. Ve couldn't ʁisk ju getting caught."

"It's fine," the Autobot snapped. "It's fine. I'm the one who replied to your 'late night' comm. I'm the one who didn't scout properly because my fragging Sparkmate was charged off their rocks." Bumblebee continued his diatribe as he paced, flinging slick with every vigorous motion. "I'm the one who never thought a scenario like this would ever happen, what with you being so HUGE and me being a Minibot! And I'M the one who's developed a new KINK apparently."

Blitzwing in-vented, immediately switching to Random. "Ohohoo~! Ju vanna go inside again, mein Liebling?" Icy's insistent whirr put a pause to Random's invitation.

"Lateʁ. Now ve must leave immediately befoʁe ze mosquitoes aʁʁive." Blitzwing picked Bumblebee up and perched him on their pauldron before transforming into jet-mode and taking off.

The high-speed flight removed most of the slick covering the small scout's frame. Bumblebee looked forward to a fresh coating.

Notes:

So, I JUST found out about this challenge and I was like...I need to read my dashboard more often. Cuz I only had 40 min before 12am hit on Feb 16 and the event would end. Then I ran into another obstacle: the challenge calls for "sweetheart", the exact words. Problem: 'sweet' and 'heart' are terms humans/organics would use, not biomechanical beings who would PALE at the mention of anything related to "sugar". But then I saw under the FAQ that "sweetheart" is allowed in other languages. And then I'm like--omg. Blitzwing. And while asking if original languages are ok to use might be a stretch, I did use the equivalents to "sweetheart" in German PLUS the Cybertronian equivalent [in my AU], which is "Sparklight".

I had this idea from a while ago: what if they were caught, and Blitz had no other choice but to shove Bee up his valve to hide him? Then this happened XD In under 30 min, give or take.
