Ginny has been saying she needs to stop calling Him, and in her heart Hermione knows she’s right, but… it's not as easy as she thinks. They called every single day, it's hard to just stop that.
But she is going to stop…
After one more call.
She reaches for her phone, it’s five thirty, time for their daily call. She quickly types in the number, knowing no one’s answered in three years. Putting the phone to her ear she waits for the usual robotic voice to say, ‘this number is no longer in service’.
“Hey, love, sorry I didn't pick up yesterday. This blasted device died and I couldn't find the charger anywhere.”
Hermione freezes. There’s no way. This cannot be real.
“Hermione, love, are you alright? Answer me, you’re going to give your damn husband a heart attack.” She hears a chuckle, a chuckle she hadn't heard in three years, and it can’t be. It can’t be.
“Draco?”
