Mirror guards, a specific faction of knights, nowadays with puffballs being rarer others have been trained since puffballs only traditionally held the role, are assigned to specific dimension mirrors to make sure that the mirror will not get into the wrong hands, make sure the mirror doesnt let its inhabitants out or not let the mirror shatter. There are various sizes and levels of power for dimension mirrors, ranging from a weak pocket enchantment with the size of a fold in mirror, to massive, grand mirrors with the power to hold the door to an entire other world. Of course there is the main one, which is a two way door leading directly to the entire mirror world and is typically held under very heavy lock and key in a location known to the more trusted mirror guards. The mirror seen in Amazing Mirror, etc, is not the main one, however it is a very powerful one, where more magic adept people from the mirror realm, such as dark meta knight, can force their way through. Phylla Knight (an oc of mine) was entrusted to this specific mirror due to her strength, magical resistance, and fierce loyalty and devotion to her role as a guard. Mirror Guards, unlike most puffball factions, get helmets once they officially become a guard, though like masks they can customize it to have a unique, intimidating, or interesting look.
