Wiz POV
Teleport*
As soon as I cast my spell I saw a familiar place in front of me
"The demon king-sama's castle, it sure has been a while since I visited this place".
As I was entering through the gates I saw an old friend of mine, and just as I saw him turn to take a look at me he turned away.
"VANIR-SAN, that was mean, you should greet your friends when you see them".
Vanir simply took a look at me and told me with a smug smile.
"But Moi does not see any of his friends around, the only thing I see is a lich who has passed her expiration date".
I then started to try to hit Vanir in my anger but he simply dodged my punches while doing that annoying laugh of his
"Now-now calm down shop keeper of debt, because Moi can see that thou wont just take an ordinary apology, thou shall get a prophecy as an apology".
As soon as I registered the words Vanir said I immediately felt excited, and instantly asked him.
"Vanir-san you would really do that for me, and this isn't one of your pranks to just feed on my negative emotions".
Vanir gasped at my response and said with a dramatic sigh while clutching his heart.
"Moi's heart is wounded, that thou thinks that Moi would attempt such a despicable action".
But right as Vanir was about to tell me his prophecy, a puff of smoke popped up right behind us, and out came Beldia the dullahan.
He was in his normal armour but said armour was covered in a bunch of scratches, and like any good friend I was worried, so I asked him.
"Beldia-san what happened!, why are you covered in these many scratches".
Beldia heard my question and instantly started shaking uncomfortably and started ranting.
"EXPLOSION MAGIC, EVERY SINGLE DAY NON-STOP SOME RANDOM IMBECILE HAS BEEN BLASTING EXPLOSION MAGIC IN THE CASTLE I CHOSE TO LIVE IN".
"Oh, that sounds terrible Beldia-san and I hope that whoever does it stops it too".
And with a gloomy aura coming out of Beldia he said in a low voice.
"Me too Wiz… me too".
Vanir then suddenly started laughing in the background while rolling on the ground
"OH GOD THIS IS HILARIOUS" he yelled.
He then continued.
"Is your body really completely disconnected from your brain?, after all you are general of the demon kings army"
Beldia at first looked pissed of at Vanir's words, but as Vanir continued Beldia got more and more convinced about his ideas,
and with a smug grin that was somehow visible through his helmet
Beldia-san bellowed in a very loud voice.
"OF COURSE, how could I be so foolish. I am Beldia the dullahan, a general of the demon king army feared by many, and I shall have my revenge".
And just as I was about to reply to Beldia, I remembered something.
"Vanir-san you told me you were gonna give me a real prophecy about my future, can you please tell it to me now" I asked with the best puppy dog eyes I could muster.
And just as Vanir was about to tell me the prophecy we heard a loud voice ring out from the castle.
And from the window closest to us we saw the demon king-sama's daughter yelling at us.
"YOU IMBECILES COME OVER HERE, WE HAVE BEEN WAITING 30 WHOLE MINUTES FOR YOU TO ARRIVE".
And as none of us wanted to get yelled at anymore we all hurried over to the castle.
The meeting was just like every other meeting, very boring.
Even then I did my job as a good general, and listened to all of the points that came up in the meeting, and even contributed a bit.
But there was one interesting part about the meeting, or rather someone interesting.
According to the demon king-sama her name was Wolbach.
And while I have always preferred the female bodies above the male ones, the beauty that Wolbach held was divine.
She had short red hair and elf-like ears and her most alluring features besides her bust were, her yellow eyes with cat like slits alongside the mark on her forehead.
And while I was distracted thinking about her I didn't notice the bucket filled with mud set up by Beldia with the help of Vanir.
So as soon as I walked underneath the door.
WHOOSH
I ended up getting covered in mud from head to toe.
Beldia and Vanir, who I assumed were behind the prank doubled over and started laughing.
I looked at them and while waving my hands frantically I said
"Beldia-san!Vanir-san! That was very mean, why would you do that to your close friend".
Beldia, who was still laughing, wheezed out in between his laughs
"Come on Wiz, there is no need to react like that, we are close friends, and if you keep on doing that your friends might never visit you".
The moment he said that my blood ran cold, and while shaking with pure rage, I started releasing my magic. Vanir, who was just laughing until now, also got serious and his eyes started glowing.
But before we were able to attack each other, a calm but firm voice rung out
"Wiz, Vanir, both of you stop this useless fighting at once, and remember this, Beldia and Vanir we are the generals of the demon king army, not children so act like your title".
Vanir-san looked angry for a split second but before anyone else could notice it he kept up a small smile and with a theatrical bow he said.
"There is no need to worry, this was just Moi having some fun with his dear friend, right useless shop keeper".
but just as he had said that I was at the exit, and left towards the baths.
"It is nice that the devil king-sama lets us use the baths in his castle".
So while humming a calming tune I entered the women's bath.
After changing into my towel, I stepped into the bathroom and sat on the stools, which they provide for us to use for washing.
And just as I was about to take a bath, I heard the door creak open and in came the worst person
Wolbach pov
Today was a normal day in my life after I had been freed.
I woke up, then I took a bath, I had a nice meal, then I took another bath.
And just as I was preparing for my mid afternoon nap, I got a message from the mage general whatever his name is.
"Wolbach, there is an important meeting today, and the demon king-sama is pissed that you have been skipping the last few meetings".
The words rang through my head.
"Dammit I just wanted to sleep". I said while sighing
"you know I can still hear you right". He asked with a drawled out sigh.
"yeah, yeah I'll come".
After sighing for what felt like the thousandth time I simply muttered.
"Seems like what I am gonna do has been decided".
And ended the mental communication link.
I then changed into more appropriate clothes than sleepwear, and tried to sneak in a last minute nap.
And after having a nice meal, I started casting the teleport spell.
Teleport*
I arrived before a familiar place
"Glad to know that this place didn't change much when I was sealed"
As I entered the demon king's castle, I was greeted by the various monsters present there.
I lazily said hello, or simply waved back to them,
all the while muttering about how tiring this job is and how.
"Running an under performing magic store might be more fun".
Anyway once I reached the meeting room, I looked around for the seat that would draw the least attention.
"The seat furthest away from the demon king it is!"
So far most of the generals were here, the only ones missing are Vanir that annoying demon, Beldia the perverted dullahan and last but the most interesting Wiz the ice lich.
As we were waiting I wondered, if there was a way even I could be a general not on the front lines.
I sighed wondering how much I could relax if that was the case, maybe I should ask the lich how she did it.
And while we were waiting I tried my best to sneak in a nap.
But just as I was about to fall asleep I heard a loud voice.
"YOU IMBECILES COME OVER HERE, WE HAVE BEEN WAITING 30 WHOLE MINUTES FOR YOU TO ARRIVE".
The voice was so startling I nearly jumped out of my chair.
Due to having the will to live I proceeded to sit in perfect posture….
And then proceeded to zone out throughout the entire meeting, while only responding with small grunts whenever my name was mentioned.
And as soon as the meeting ended I was planning to leave but I was beaten to it by Wiz.
But a few moments later I was thankful for being late as a giant bucket of mud just fell on Wiz.
And just as I was about to say something, I was shocked with Wiz being so patient, with these annoying idiots.
Looking at the scene in front of me I made an assumption,
"She seems to be a bit of a pushover".
But I quickly changed my mind when I saw her get pissed.
"Man I hope I never get on her bad side"
and while monologuing the entire sequence that led to this moment I finally made it to my destination.
The bathroom of the demon king's castle, or in other words heaven.
So while wearing nothing but a towel, I entered the women's bath area,
And in the gigantic bath room was the same busty brown haired lich that had managed to pique my curiosity staring at me.
So with a small smile I said
"Hello Wiz-San"
Wiz POV
The first thoughts I had in my mind when I heard the door creak open were
"Please don't let it be Beldia"
But in some ways the outcome was worse
The person who entered the room wasn't the perverted Beldia as I thought but in-fact the very person who caught my interest earlier today.
Here was Wolbach in nothing but a towel covering her body
as soon as she saw me staring at her she gave greeted me with a small smile gracing her mouth
"Hello Wiz-San".
While still shocked and realizing that I was staring I quickly snapped out of the trance I was in and tried my best to calmly greet her.
"Hel..-llo Wolbach-San".
Sadly I failed at my task horribly.
Wolbach who had seen my struggling simply let out a small chuckle and decided to join me on the stools.
After taking the stool next to me she turned to me and asked me a quick question,
And it wasn't a normal question that someone asks when you first talk to someone like
"How are you doing?".
"Is your day going well?".
or the sorts like that, instead with a monotone expression on her face she deadpanned.
"How do you get out of work?".
Her question had caught me completely off guard not expecting that at all, I muttered out a blank huh.
Seeing the look of utter confusion on my face she looked like she was trying her best to hold back her giggling, but still she let out a few muffled giggles.
And before I could freeze myself solid in my embarrassment, she calmly took a bucket and elaborated her question further to me with a relaxed tone while washing herself.
"I've heard the demon king-sama doesn't give you any missions, and you never go out to the front lines, how did you get him to agree to that?".
Understanding her question better I started explaining to her about my entire life.
So for a while we sat there in a nice amicable conversation enjoying the other's company.
After a bit of time chatting, I had completely washed away all the mud that covered the front side of my body.
But now I found a new problem,
My backside, which was arguably covered in more mud than my front side, was far harder to clean properly than I could imagine.
As I was struggling to clean myself I heard a small chuckle and a voice from behind
and I saw Wolbach holding a pail of water holding back her giggles doing scrubbing motions with her hands
after looking at her incredulously for a few seconds I finally understood what she meant
And even though I was a lich whose body was constantly at a temperature colder than the normal body, I felt my face heat up.
Not trusting my mouth to work properly I simply nodded and turned around letting her work on my back.
Wolbach pov
After heading into the bath and seeing the surprise that was Wiz washing herself from the slime.
We had settled into quite a nice peace.
I also ended up learning a lot about her, though her method to skip front line duty was quite boring,
Like seriously what is the point of life if u don't destroy even a little bit, though her shop did seem interesting, maybe I could visit it one day.
And after a small amount of chatting Wiz had finally cleaned out all the slime on the front of her body,
but she ended up finding a new problem, her back.
And the adorable sight of seeing wiz try her hardest to clean her back turned me into a giggling mess.
But turning into a giggling mess wasn't the impression I wanted to make, so I did my best to stifle my giggling.
And at the same time another idea came into my mind.
"What if I try to wipe her back?".
So I picked up a pail of water while still holding back my giggles and just as I was about to call out to her, she turned to face me.
So in an attempt to communicate my idea I made scrubbing motions with my hands.
Luckily after a bit of her staring at me she figured out what I meant and sat in a way so that I could scrub her easily.
And as I started cleaning her back from all the slime we had settled into a nice peaceful silence.
And just as I completed cleaning her back I asked her a question that had been bugging me for a while now.
"Wiz-San I have a question for you, do you wanna perhaps do this again?, after all taking a bath is much more fun with good company around".
Wiz who was obviously not expecting that hid her shocked expression and with a small truly sincere smile responded.
"I would love to do that Wolbach-San"
