Despite being on land for quite a while now, never had he ever thought land dwellers would choose to stay longer in water to get clean than they really had to.
He was even more surprised, and delighted, to know that they even have salts, soap, and other unnecessary additions to a simple act of cleaning their body.
So naturally he had to try this strange thing immediately, but being in water was nothing new to him, even with the weird additions, so he chose to invite you for some extra fun.
You were on your way to Octavinelle, as you had been invited over by your boyfriend, an infamous Leech, for the evening.
Yet all you had been told was "I have a surprise for you, meet me at Octavinelle's after your club activities." and to say you were suspicious of him would be an under statement.
Except when you entered his dorm room, only Floyd was there, laying lazily on his bed.
No Jade in sight.
When you questioned Floyd he smirked and told you to go the dorm's baths.
...
So you made your way to the baths.
You walk in and knock on a few doors before hearing Jade's voice call out.
The bathroom smelled divine when you opened the door, it smelled like roses and cherry blossoms.
A bathtub was filled with steaming water and bubbles.
The soap bubbles colored in a teal, violet and light blue mixture. Jade was already in the tub, smiling at you and inviting you to join when he saw you enter.
You slowly undressed and entered the water filled tub slowly, warmth hitting you immediately against your cold body as you sat across your boyfriend.
Jade looked at you softly, yet not explaining himself at all, only widening his smile as he grabbed your hands and held them up to his face.
He squeezed your hands closer to his cheeks and chuckled slightly.
But then he seemed to suddenly pull you forwards, your head resting on his chest before you even realized it, and he laughed again.
The soft and angelic sound hitting your eyes as you laughed alongside him.
As you both quieted down more, a comforting silence hit, and you felt light pecks on your shoulder.
The ticklish feeling across your skin making you laugh a little more as you also felt the smile on his face against your skin.
He pulled his head back up from your shoulder, freeing one of your hands as he brushed his fingers thru your hair lightly, slowly wetting it in the process.
Jade's hands were soft and gentle against your scalp, and your eyes slowly started to droop more with every stroke.
He didn't seem to notice though, and so you fell asleep right there in the tub with him, water still hot and air still scented.
...
You woke up to gentle snoring in a dark room.
A room you didn't quite recognize at first but quickly did after trying to move and feeling an arm laid protectively on top of your torso, holding you close.
You smiled and moved closer to Jade.
His breaths were soft atop your head as you lay close to his chest, it was soft and comfortable.
So you closed your eyes again, reveling in the peaceful beat his heart gave out as you could hear his brother snoring in his own bed not for away.
A quiet slumber soon swept over you again, as you fell asleep right in the comfort of his arms.
