their own ways Dustin and Susie are happily married and had kids Max and Lucas spent their time traveling and adopted a golden retriever and Will and his husband just there for each other
But Mike he’s a mess after el supposedly died he later learned she actually lived and is in Iceland but she wanted to be independent and find herself 10 years later he got married to woman he wasn’t sure if he was satisfied yet…
Over the next few years he started to become like his dad when he was young he swear he was going to be the opposite of his dad but life is full of surprises he has a boring job a crappy house and everything after April was torn off his calendar he was still not satisfied
One boring night Mike was in his car driving on the highway driving to his boring old desk job when all of a sudden the radio played a new song a song he never heard before Good luck, babe he didn’t care at first but then the lyrics started to hit home.
And when you wake up next to him in the middle of the night
With your head in your hands,nothing more than his wife and when you think about me all of those years ago you’re standing face-to-face with “i told you so”
He froze
He swerved his car to the curb while song played in the background like a slap to his face
Then everything started to click in place
The glances
The bump of shoulders
The brushes of knees touching
The painting
Holy shit
He was will’s Tammy. God HE WAS SO STUPID
He could’ve had it all but he was too stupid to realize his feelings the feelings he thought would go away eventually he felt tear threat to fall down he started hitting anything
Mike unbuckled his seatbelt tear already pouring swings his car door and got out quickly his hands flew up to his head
“GODDAMN IT” Mike screamed and tears started to fall down from his face as he kicked his tire in rage All those years after denying his feelings pushing the one he loved away
He could still change this even 36 years late he had to make it right fix what could’ve been.
Mike got back in his car gave a minute to get himself back together before starting his car and drifting back to the highway
but then the subway started playing Mike had enough that was his final strike Mike slammed on the gas pedal speeding up and then he swerved off the highway and crashed on a ditch and then everything fading to black.
bye bye Mike was it casual?
