Sam Beckett poked at the useless piece of advanced technology in his hand. With no power flowing through it, it just looked like a bunch of melted gummy bears, stuck together. The time traveler groans in frustration and throws it to the ground, then Leaps. Tom Jarret looks around slightly dazed, and sees the hand-link on the ground. “Huh. What the hell’s this thing?’, he wondered, picking it up.

A dark haired man tapes a box shut in a kitchen. A short blonde woman enters. “Man, it took some doing to get your dad in that nursing home.” The man nods. “Well, he was a World War 2 vet. It took determination and a strong will to kick Hitler’s ass.” The blonde smiles. “It’s a good thing that you didn’t inherit that much of it from your old man.” They kiss, then the man picks up a Sharpie and writes DAD’S WAR STUFF on the box. It’s loaded with other things into their car, and placed in their attic, when they get home.
