Chapter Text
Jin
"I don’t really have to walk outside in this...right?" Jin said cracking the stores dressing room door open. He saw his two best friends come closer with grins at his discomfort.
"Oh no you don't hyung! you lost the bet so take your punishment!" Taehyung grabbed his arm before he could duck back behind the safety of the door. Jin blushed crimson as he stood in the girls’ clothing. He had lost a small bet again and the two younger boys had made this his punishment.
Jin quickly did a model strut and hoped no one took pictures or filmed him. His parents would kill him if they knew he had done something that could wreck their perfect 'image'.
Jin's parents meant well, but being the owners of a major company they let work rule their lives, and Jin's. He always had to dress and act a certain way for as long as he could remember.
His parents spent a lot of time trying to mold Jin into the perfect heir and in a way it worked. Jin was more educated than most young adults his age, more properly dressed in the most expensive fashion, he was more everything.
The only thing was Jin refused, was to act like a snotty rich kid, even though he technically was. He always tried to be nice to everyone no matter where they came from or how poor they were.
Taehyung and Jimin were both like him. Taehyungs parents were best friends with Jimin's because they were business partners. Jin had met the two younger business heirs’ years ago when his parents had forced him to start attending company events.
He had been so lonely all his life, until meeting the two younger friends. Jin may be older by a few years, but he wouldn’t know what to do without them.
Jin's parents had been so thrilled that he was making such close friends among the 'appropriate' crowd, that they had supported the three boys’ friendship whole heartedly.
He wondered if they even knew how Jimin and Taehyung really were. If they knew what the two younger boys were making him do whenever he lost bets, they would freak. Jin grinned at the thought and quickly jumped back into the dressing room when he finished his embarrassing catwalk.
He could hear Jimin's loud laugh along with Taehyung's as they cracked jokes about Jin's little show.
"Did we tell him to wear those black stockings?!" Taehyung said suddenly and Jin heard Jimin double over into more laughter.
"I did! and it was perfect!" Jimin said, and Jin smiled to himself at their innocent glee. He changed into his own clothing and went out to join them. They quickly fled the area due to Jin's embarrassment.
"I'm starving!!" Jimin said as they went towards the mall's exit.
"I know! Let’s go try that restaurant next to Jin's boutique!" Taehyung said giving a huge boxy grin at them.
Jin nodded and pulled out his phone to call his driver. They usually only used Jin's driver because the man wouldn’t run back and tell his parents every little thing. He also had the largest car.
Jin's boutique wasn’t exactly 'his'…They just called it that because it was his favorite little store. Except he didn’t get to go very often because it was located in a very poor area of the city. Jin's parents didn’t want him going into poor areas because they were afraid he would get robbed...At least that’s what they claimed, but Jin knew it was because of 'image' as well.
They drove the slightly lengthy car to the shopping center. Jin climbed out with Taehyung and Jimin before telling the driver to join them if he wanted. He always asked, but his driver never did and instead stayed in the parked car to wait for his calls like normal.
They went into the slightly old looking restaurant and sat down in the far corner table. Jin was facing the door with Taehyung and Jimin in front of him. He noticed how small the cozy restaurant was while watching people come and go. Most of the people were taking their meals to-go and Jin wondered what their lives were like.
Taehyung and Jimin couldn’t decide what they wanted, so Jin ordered a large sample dish so that they could all try different things. Once they were done placing their orders they quietly chatted about various topics.
Jin ended up tuning out the conversation as he watched some new people walk in the door. This time he was surprised to see a group of boys around their ages.
The four boys were very different from each other so Jin couldn’t help but observe them curiously. The youngest looking boy had black hair that looked a bit shaggy. Jin noticed the boy just stood with his arms crossed silently as the boy next to him chatted happily.
There was an older looking boy with faded pink hair that made Jin grin to himself. It was an interesting choice for hair color, but the boy seemed like he wasn’t very nice. The tallest boy had blonde hair styled in a unique way that made Jin think 'rebel'.
It was obvious that the blonde boy was their 'leader' or something, because they were all trying to include him, even though he wasn’t really paying them any attention. Jin looked away when the boy scanned the restaurant so he wouldn’t get caught staring. These boys looked a bit rough and Jin didn’t want to seem rude.
Jimin and Taehyung suddenly turned to look where Jin had been staring.
"Well they look a bit scary," Jimin muttered and Jin tried to get the two boys to stop staring. Taehyung furrowed his brows as he watched them for a brief moment.
"S-stop staring!!" Jin scolded and his friends turned back to smile at him sheepishly.
"I can see why you were looking… They are kind of hot," Taehyung said suddenly and Jimin laughed way too loud for Jin's liking. He could feel some curious eyes on their little table and rushed his two friends to hurry and finish.
It wasn’t a secret between Jin, Taehyung and Jimin that all three of them weren’t fond of girls. No one else knew their preferences of course because each of their parents would kill them. Jin's been on set up dates with a few nice girls before but he wasn’t into them like that.
It got a bit strange when he was more clean and feminine then the girls, and they never captured his attention like that anyway. He wasn’t sure if that meant he was gay, but he wasn’t going to deny checking out a few nice looking men before.
Jin glanced over and felt like a deer caught in headlights. The blonde boy was looking straight back at him with a hard gaze. He quickly put a hundred-dollar bill down on the table telling the waitress to keep the change.
He felt nervous with the blonde boy watching them, but began walking towards the door. It meant they would pass by the four boys that stood in the line and Jin cursed the little restaurants layout.
Jin ignored the way all the boys’ attention shifted to the three of them as he tried to make Jimin hurry up by pushing the shorter boy slightly. It back-fired, because he caused Jimin to trip a bit and he ended stepping right on the scary boy with pink-ish hair.
"Yah! Watch where you’re fucking walking!" The pink haired boy looked pissed and Jimin froze in front of him.
"I-I’m sorry…" Jimin bowed his head in apology but the boy still glared angrily.
"Sorry doesn’t fix it kid…Some of us can't afford to buy all the top brands whenever they want!" The boy looked over the three of them in disgust and Jin felt his body go cold. These boys were judging them for having good clothes... And didn’t like them because of it.
Jimin was muscular and fit, but the younger baby faced boy was soft hearted. Jimin had tears in his eyes as he apologized again. Jin's protective instincts took over and he quickly pulled his two younger friends behind him.
"He said he was sorry! Do you have to keep yelling at him? It was an accident!!!!" Jin snapped with annoyance and the shorter pink haired boy looked surprised for a moment. Jin thought they would let it go but then the tall blonde boy stepped up and glared at him.
Jin felt scared and decided it was best if they’d hurry and leave. They quickly left the restaurant but the four boys suddenly followed. Jin began to panic and pulled out his phone to call the driver.
The three of them jumped into the car when it pulled up, and Jin watched the boys watch them leave from the back glass. The blonde boy was watching the car so intently it made Jin feel even more nervous.
