Work Text:

Jason gets the first inkling that one of Gotham's newest supernatural - for lack of a better word - inhabitants is interested in more than chatting him up at the barista counter he's been daylighting at for an undercover op is when he begins to linger. Jason learns his name is Eddie and that he's moved here in the past few months. Something about being drawn to the city that Jason doesn't quite follow while making his drink, but still, he supposes some people would be. There's a reason there's still anyone living here at all, he supposes.

The next day there's commentary about how great the brand of pants Jason wears is. Which, totally odd thing to be looking at if he's not, well, into asses, for one thing. Jason isn't even sure what pair of pants he threw on this morning, only that it didn't stink and definitely wasn't from the laundry pile. He hides the faint embarrassment at having pulled them from exactly that pile after a too-long patrol followed by a too-early shift as he turns to get the lid for Eddie's coffee.

He grabs the pen from the countertop, neatly writes Eddie on the cup and after a second of hesitation put a smiling face under it, even puts the little tilde eyebrows over each eye mark. He doesn't have to write his name at all, given he's standing right there. But he wants to, for some absurd reason.

Eddie wanders to a table and sits there, letting Jason get on with his orders while Eddie nurses the caramel macchiato with coconut milk instead of whole, extra hot, two pumps chocolate syrup. The very fact that Jason knows his order says a lot. The fact that he's tried it and knows that it's sickly sweet says more.

It's a whole week of the same and Jason's no closer to getting to his target. He's growing grouchy and frustrated with the general public and their lack of regard for service workers. Sometimes he stands in the breakroom and daydreams of Red Hood taking up the job of fixing people's attitudes toward staff members. Sometimes he daydreams of whatever reason Eddie has to be showing up time and again like this.

He hesitates to go back for a second week. If only because he's had no luck with his target and it seems utterly pointless to torture himself like this. Only... Eddie. Eddie, the guy he can sense is something other. A little bit more than the other patrons. Something Jason picked up from his little dip in the Lazarus Pit that he hasn't told a single soul about. Some secrets are meant to be kept and he thinks this is one of them when it comes to the Bats. In the end, he picks out a clean pair of pants, the horrible tan shirt they are required to wear, his apron, and shoves his feet into the required loafers.

At the store, he talks himself into going inside, into clocking in, and into stepping out front to the too-long holiday line and his worn out coworkers. He says hi to Mina, who looks ready to rip a customer a new one, gently hip-checks her out of the way and shoos her down the line to the coffee counter. He checks the order already inputted, reads it back to the customer, and plasters on his fake smile while asking them if that's correct. He listens to what they say. It's exactly what Mina put in, only in a different order. Jason reads it back in their order and the customer issues a, "Well, finally someone who fucking knows what they're doing!" and Jason debates the Red Hood method again before he tells them their total and swipes their card while gritting his teeth. They give him a whole three pennies in the tip cup and Jason bites back sincere frustration for Mina and for anyone else that entitled asshole runs into.

Eddie shows up somewhere in the first hour. Arrives and patiently stands in line at Jason's counter, despite the longer line. When it's his turn, he stuffs a twenty in the tip jar and opens his mouth to order, only Jason beats him to it, reciting his order perfectly from memory and arching an eyebrow at the end in question.

Eddie's smile is so damn big. Just... so big. And Jason finds himself swindled by it again, pushed into the desperate desire to make it stay there. Eddie stays longer than necessary. Pretends to go through things on the counter display, reading labels and sighing about things containing specific ingredients, all while making eye contact with Jason instead. It's like being caught and held in a spider web. Held in perpetuity inside that gaze.

He finally buys a couple chocolate bars when the woman behind him starts sighing and checking her watch. As he walks on down the line, Jason swears he sees the candy bar inch out of his pocket and the straight up disappear inside of him. Not in his mouth or anything. Just... inside.

Jason blinks it away and shakes it off, goes back to his grouchy holiday line and rides out his shift. By the end of it, he decides his target has moved shops or something and that he's going to turn into Red Hood given one more bloody-ass shift in this damn place. He spies Eddie still sitting in the corner, so he makes both of them a drink, pilfers a few more chocolate bars, and goes to tell the manger he quits. Shrugs a lot when they try to beg him to stay and tells them they always knew he was a completely temporary employee with an open end date. He tells them to keep his paycheck and he'll just take a few bags of coffee as payment. Grabs Tim's favorite on the way out from behind the counter and just straight up walks up to Eddie's table, pulls out the chair, and sits down.

Eddie outright beams at him and Jason clears his throat. Says, "I quit. Customers suck. They're so mean to employees for no reason!" He says it loudly enough bitchy woman, still here and sitting two tables away can hear him. She turns to glower and Jason gives her a feral bared-teeth grin, says, "Enjoy being the reason someone quits, bitch!" and then stands up, nudges Eddie a little and says, "Wanna get out of here?"

There isn't hesitation when Eddie stands and comes with him. Just Eddie following and Jason holding his armload of coffee and candy bars and for some reason still juggling two drink cups. Outside, half of it disappears from his grip and he is fully aware that he wasn't wrong about the candy bars before. Mostly because he watches Eddie wrestle a chocolate bar from an inky black tentacle that seems to have come from nowhere.

Grinning, he says, "I thought so. Saw that happen earlier. No worries, I've kinda got some stuff going on myself, so... whatevs."

Eddie just bats at the tentacle and sighs. "Greedy fucking symbiote wants his chocolate." He looks annoyed for a second and then growls, "I will not be telling him that."

Jason passes over the coffee cup instead and gets a soft, "Thank you," for it and they both seem to start walking at the same time, blessedly in the same direction.

They're a block away before Jason says, "Telling that woman off felt fantastic."

Eddie snorts. "I bet. Just hope that wasn't the job you needed for, uh... living?"

"Nah. Picked it up for the holidays." The lie is easy. Tips off his tongue before he can consider if he wants to be lying to Eddie or not.

A few blocks later they're near one of his burner apartments and he tips his head down the street when they get to it. "This is me. This may be really forward, but... wanna come with me?" At Eddie's surprised but elated look - god he looks so endearing - Jason clarifies, "I'm gay, by the way."

Eddie sputters a little and then wheezes out, "Bi. And we," he smacks a tentacle that is wandering back toward the chocolate he's still holding again, "are definitely interested."

Jason tosses out, "Chocolate is for him. Coffee for you," and turns down the street. Grins when Eddie catches up with him and falls back in step beside him.

They're in his apartment before Jason says, "I'd like to meet your symbiote a little more, if that's cool?" He turns back toward Eddie after he's ditched the loafers. Spreads his hands and a little green shimmer pools in his cupped palms. It's all he can do without absolute evil in his presence, the All-Blades refusing to appear without it, no matter how hard Jason tries. On the plus side, he doesn't have to shed blood to do this. Just the faint little bit of energy that he's found can heal minor things - scrapes, bruises, papercuts. It's not a lot, but a cool parlor trick. And in this case, maybe the key to getting to meet this symbiote.

Eddie holds a chocolate bar out, sighs, and says, "Venom, if you come out and get it, then you can have it." Immediately a head pops up over Eddie's shoulder, sleek black and two stark white quarter-moon eyes. Eddie warns, "He looks a bit terrifying, but given how badly he wants to meet you, doubtful he's any kind of threat to you at all," at the same time Venom leans forward and snatches the chocolate bar with giant gnarly, pointed teeth. He swallows it whole, gulping, and then looks at Eddie, making Eddie roll his eyes.

"He's got some pretty not PG things to say about what he'd like to do."

Jason leans back on the counter behind him, his tiny apartment all squished into one room except the bathroom, and crosses his arms. "Oh, do share."

"He wants to know if you like tentacles."

Jason gives a wicked grin. "Very much."

"Then he'd like to know if you want to, and I quote, 'Get nailed'?"

Jason pushes off the counter, steps in and grasps Eddie's light blue Hawaiian shirt and tugs him in. Breathes, "Absolutely," across his lips and then kisses him soundly. When he draws back, he tips his head and murmurs, "No teeth," and waits on however Venom's going to feel trying to kiss him. When it happens, he decides 'vaguely slimy but not in a tacky kind of way' covers it. He kisses the symbiote and finds himself surprised at the lack of teeth given the gaping mouthful he encountered already.

After, he draws Eddie and Venom to the part of the room with his bed. Pauses long enough to get the ugly tan shirt over his head and onto his floor. Flops down on the mattress and fishes out condom and lube, and shimmies out of his pants while already lying there.

Eddie waits him out and then follows him down once he's completely naked. Grasps the lube and moves to prep him, though he pauses and asks, "This okay? Venom's eager to fuck you. I'm good either way, but he's kinda... toppy." Jason laughs softly. "Well I'm kinda bottom-y, so... go for it."

It takes Jason a few minutes to ease up and for Eddie to start being able to finger-fuck him with vigor. From there it's a short road to finding himself on the receiving end of Eddie's cock. It's then that Venom does more than stare from over Eddie's shoulder.

At first he becomes a mass behind Eddie and then he becomes Eddie's body and the cock inside him belongs to Venom. The pace changes and the thickness of the cock inside him fattens. Jason gasps his way through the next few minutes of getting absolutely railed into the mattress, his own cock so stiff it hurts. He's never been dicked down like this and he loves every second of it.

Then Eddie's back with him, clutching at him, fucking him hard and desperate, and Venom's gone all black stringy strands and reaching tendrils. Jason's hand is engulfed and then his forearm and then he's being caressed and held and toyed with by a hundred different little pieces of the symbiote.

Eddie gasps out, "H-he wants to be in you for a minute," and Jason says, "Yes," before he can so much as second guess himself. The tendrils turn to sliding masses and then he's gasping, hips jerking off the bed, and he's shuddering hard as he feels Venom slipping into place around him, in him, within him.

Trembling, he starts to ask something, starts to try to say something, but then he hears it. A voice that isn't his own, inside his head. A low rumble that sounds as aroused as Jason feels, telling him about cravings, about need, about how his species fuck and what he wants to do to Jason. He hears words of mourning about Jason being a perfect second host except something. A creeping green trying to push Venom out. And Jason knows then that it's the Lazarus Pit that's doing it. The small healing factor perhaps protects him more than he thinks it does. From the inside. Trying to reject Venom's possession of his body like the parasite he is. Jason thinks his answer, his reason, and shows the vulnerable piece of him that still shies from his own death and rebirth.

When they part, he's still filled, he's still hard, and Jason watches Venom slide back into Eddie's body. Eddie cums before Venom reappears. He's over Jason, gasping and shuddering and then he's not. Venom's there and there's tentacles and tendrils everywhere. Holding his thighs wide, playing with his cock and his balls, pushing into his mouth. Then Venom's over him and pumping. Hard and quick and vicious.

It's the first swell of the cock inside him that seems to move that makes Jason's mind snap to what Venom said. How they reproduce. Makes him remember feeling irrationally horny over the thought of it and how obvious that had to have been to Venom inside his mind.

His hips snap up and he cums as the second egg pushes into his body, pulsing through Venom's stiff cock into him. Big and fat and so much.

Then Venom's hips are pumping and his white eyes are wide, glistening, and his massive maw is slack, tongue lolling. The cock inside him jerks and twitches, throbs in a way no human cock could ever manage. There's the brush of, 'Mine," across his mind and then the tentacles and tendrils are withdrawing. Venom disappears leaving only Eddie behind. Eddie, looking drained and flushed and pleased.

When he pulls free, Jason spends a moment deciding what he wants to do. If he wants to push the eggs back out or hold them a while. Finally, he says, "Venom put eggs in me," and watches Eddie's jaw drop. He mumbles about how Venom's only ever done that to him and starts pulling together some of the sheets, tucking them around Jason's ass, up between his spread legs.

He leans over him and places his hand on his lower abdomen, tells Jason he'll need to bare down while he pushes a little. Jason does what he's told and lays there in shock that he's basically giving birth to fucking monster eggs and this is like some kind of fucked up sex dream he's pretty sure he's had at some point in his life.

The eggs leave him fairly easily, his hole still relaxed from the fucking Eddie and Venom gave him. He spends a bit looking down at them, glistening and the same white as Venom's eyes. He doesn't ask any of the questions he probably should. Not even when Eddie pulls the sheet to cover them and neatly ties it up, telling Jason he'll send a new set of sheets.

Jason doesn't tell him not to because it'll mean seeing him again and he definitely wants that. He doesn't argue when Eddie and Venom have to go, presumably about the eggs from the rambling Eddie's doing, all flushed and excited. Jason just kisses him goodbye and lets Eddie write his number on his palm.

When they're gone, he just closes the door, smiles to himself, and goes to clean up and get ready for the evening, like this happens every damn day. And maybe, if he's lucky, it will.
