Azul sat at his desk and wrote his last contract of the day. After not being able to use his magic to make contracts he needs to do them the old way written by hand and with better conditions for the other part.
He sat there pushing his glasses up as the Twins entered and just like always without knocking. They just burst inside Floyd at the front, Jade behind him. They both take a look at their Boss/Boyfriend and are sure that he needs a break. They move to his desk and Floyd puts his arms around Azul's neck hugging him from behind.
“Nee Zuzu you need a break we didnt see you the whole day you're cramped inside here for who knows how long. I can even see these eyebags already forming.”
“Floyd is not so wrong Azul. How long are you already sitting here behind your desk writing all that? Did you even eat or drink something? Don't forget our human bodies need water to function.”
The other twin told him matter of factly. But Azul didn't look up; he still sat there with his eyes fixed on the contract in his hands. He needs to finish that one and then the other is still laying in his drawer. But how was he supposed to finish with them in the room they are for sure going to annoy him.
“Boys, I just need to finish these, then I can take a break. You know without using my magic it takes even longer to write these Contracts. And I don't have so much time.”
The twins stared at each other then at their lover a grin spreading on their faces luckily Azul wasn't looking up or he would know they are panning something. The good part about being twins was that they can read their mind like they share one. They never really talk about their plans, just look at each other.
“Well then how about I make you a tea that would help you concentrate, would that be alright dear Azul?”
Jade asked Azul and even without waiting for an answer he walked away knowing Azul would never say no to a cup of calming Tea from Jade. He didn't thrust him with food afraid he would put mushrooms inside but tea was safe. He at least hoped so.
Floyd carefully lifted himself from the others shoulder and made his way to the couch laying down on it. Here he could keep an eye on Azul in case he suddenly decided to leave before he drank the tea Jade was preparing.
After a while Jade returned with the tea cup in his hand and placed it on Azul's table. He stood there waiting for the other to drink.
And not even five minutes later he took a sip and then another. Azul was finally noticing how thirsty he was and finished the whole cup in one go. As he put the tea cup back down he looked up. He wanted to thank the other for it but noticed his way with a sharp grin on his face.
“Jade I'm thankful for the Tea but that grin of yours tells me you did something. something that will make me regret drinking that tea. What did you put in it this time?”
Jade just continued grinning at Azul and then it began. Azul his clothes quickly faded away the potion making sure they just disappear as long as he transforms. He made that potion like that to not rip his clothes or be naked as soon as he turns human again.
At first he noticed his legs ripping apart making way for eight identical tentacles. Then his skin changed colour. Just before his gils started appearing the twins picked him up and moved to the big indoor pool of the dorm. Because of course there would be one. It is Octavinelle after all. Just as his gils appeared he was thrown into water his transformation finished.
He looked up at the twins' anger in his eyes about how they deceived him and gave him the potion.
“You two, I still have work to do! how am i supposed to finish that now in this form and in water?! Are you two craizy?”
The twins just stood there pleased at their work before each one took a tonic themselves and jumped into the water. Their tails quickly formed and curled around Azull.
“Oh come on Zuzu you were tired and needed a break from work and what better break than to relax like that in our normal form! Like this we can get all cuddly with you!”
“Floyd has a point. If we didn't do that you would overwork yourself and that would be shameful. Just relax a bit with us. We didn't turn back for a while. You know after the whole you overblott thing. You always said it was a hassle but now come on and enjoy it, don't forget this is the real you.”
Jade had a point and Azul knew it. After his overblot this form didnt feel good anymore. but maybe if he was together with his two boyfriends like this he could learn to accept his true form again.
He sank down to the bottom of the tank and just curled in on himself. But at the same time the twins followed and their tails moved around him. He always knew who was who even in the mess of tentacles and fins. Jade was smooth and cold while Floyd was more rough, his scales standing more on edge and he was warm.
Jade was on his right and Azul carefully put his head on his shoulder while his hand moved to Floyd's head which was in his lap. He started to move his fingers through it and enjoyed the silence.
“Sometimes I hate you and love you at the same time you both know that right?”
The twins just giggled and cuddled closer. The trio just fell asleep like that and it was the first real sleep Azul gut in a long while. Cuddles close to the two menaces he oh so loves.
