FOR POLICE DISTRICT USES ONLY
I. MATTERS TO BE INVESTIGATED
To conduct a thorough investigation surrounding the murder of the alias 'Sister Margaret' and find and apprehend the appropriate suspect based on the given evidence.
II. FACTS OF THE CASE
- Based on the data entry #1242 dated December 12, 2016 – that on or about 11:38 PM on Monday of December 11, 2016, GEORGE ABRAHAM, male, 61 years old, a janitor and a resident of St. Aden's orphanage, made a call to the police informing them of an alleged murder inside the church part of the orphanage. Officer John Wick, investigator on duty, responded in the area. Upon arrival, there is one (1) female victim identified under the name Margaret Green, a female of legal age. The victim was discovered in the orphanage's church, back facing the wall of the main room. Her throat and a part of her face are torn apart, and blood splatters near the surrounding wall, floor and the victim's clothes. It appears similar to a violent bite, albeit from an unknown identity. An ambulance was contacted immediately. The victim was pronounced dead at the site by the attending physician.
- The initial investigation conducted disclosed that at about 11:00 pm of the same day, the victim was making her nightly rounds, patrolling the area in case any children were not in the sleeping quarter. At 11:35 PM, George reported hearing something he described as 'a blood-curdling scream' and made his way to the sound as soon as possible. When he arrived at the scene, it was dark. He saw two people, a smaller figure with red eyes that hurried out through the window, breaking it down to escape as fast as possible, and the victim, unable to speak due to the injury on her throat. She soon passed away, despite George's attempt to slow down the bleeding.
- Forensics has been sent to study the scene further. Although there's an account of a broken window, no bloodstain or any other biological sample was found in any of the scenes, leaving the team without success in identifying the perpetrator. There is, however, a DNA sample left on the victim. Compared to the average human, the perpetrator's saliva has a very high count of RC cells. From DNA profiling, the meta gene has also been detected. The identity of the suspect still remains a mystery due to the RC cell count overpowering the results.
- During the investigation, a child by the age of 10 has also been discovered to be missing. The last appearance of the boy was reported around the evening of the day.
- The investigator couldn't find a direct link between the murder and the reported missing orphan from the orphanage.
III. CONCLUSION
The murder of Margaret Green is not a standard homicide. The evidence pointed out that the murderer was not a normal human, and it was a crime committed by a metahuman. This case should be sent to the higher-up, as the current police force aren't equipped to deal with it with their current technology and knowledge. The case should be reclassified as a 'homicide' to a higher-threat category.
(Somewhere in a dark cave deep under a mansion, the report made its way onto a computer, catching the attention of a newly grounded vigilante.)
