Summary:

In which Alex and Thomas are colleagues and award-winning radio hosts engaging in active public feuding, flirting, hair pulling (depending on who you ask).

A carefully compiled chronicle of social media messaging, recounting the chaos, speculation and ill-advised blowjobs that ensue.

Honestly, I'm a little nervous to post this. This is kinda outside my normal storytelling schtick, and in some ways it feels like a natural progression, and in others, I'm really not sure how it was borne into my brain at all.

If you're a regular reader/subscriber and you find that this is not your bag I'm not offended in the slightest. I like to try different things, they won't all be for everyone. Godspeed, have a lovely day, and I'll see you for the next chapter of PD. x

If you're here very, very quickly, it may not be posted yet, but I will, shortly, be posting a text-only based version of this story as well. The image-based version is the way I fundamentally wanted to tell this story, but I fully recognise that it's not always possible. Give it a go if you can - I really hope you like it.

Notes:

I've had a rival-radio-show-hosts-throwing-shade type AU simmering in the back of my brain for a long time, for no other reason than I just love the idea, and the plot bunnies it bore, but turning it into something that stood alone from PD was a tough ask (because rivals&colleagues to lovers, rivals-with-benefits themes are just my default base headcanon for these two), and so I shelved it until this format hit me like a brick and it blossomed to life in an instant.

I can't tell you how good it's been for my creativity to have something narratively, light and small and zippy to dip in and out of when PD (quite the opposite) trips me up with writer's block.

PS: I'll also add a note of reassurance for anyone concerned - PD is still in progress! Ch13 is well underway and I am loving how it's coming together. It's in no way abandoned. I just have multiple stories I want to tell!
