George knew from a very beginning that this was a hideous idea. He wished he could say no to Alex when he was trying to lure him into dubious events. But Alex usually was insufferable in his desire to make George join him everywhere he didn't want to go alone.
And there he is. In a living room of Lando's Monaco apartment with a bunch of his colleagues, tipsy and regretful about choices he's made in his life so far. Alex is sitting beside him and seems to be enjoying life to its fullest. There are also Lando, Charles, Oscar, Carlos, Yuki, Pierre, Esteban, Franco and Max. In the first part of the evening it was actually pretty civil. But then Lando got drunk and pulled out board games. And this wasn't a bad thing, too, actually if it wasn't for Max and Charles making a scene because of the rules of UNO. Their loud and indignant voices got on George's nerves very fast while everyone else seemed to be enjoying this overdramatic argument over the silly board game.
"Okay, that's enough, you two. Stop it. I have a ringing in my ears because of you," George said finally, "Let's just play something else, I beg."
"I agree. Since we're bothering our princess, we should play something else," Max said with a shit eating grin. George almost groaned at this, but he promised himself he won't let Max piss him off tonight.
"Yeah, entertain me with something apart of a stupid argument." He said with a calm smile, sipping on his gin, because he refused to let Max under his skin.
Everyone chuckled at this when Lando suddenly said, "I know! Let's play truth or dare!"
George and Yuki rolled their eyes while everyone else cheered for the idea.
"Yes, that's genius, Lando!" Charles said giving Lando a gentle pat on his head. George noticed a quick glance by Oscar to this action. He scoffed. Yeah, that was gonna be a fucking disaster. As George thought this, he gave his glass to Alex to pour him more alcohol. If he can't have a decent evening with his colleagues he's not gonna be sober enough to witness them embarrassing themselves.
“Okay, who’s gonna be first?” Lando asked looking around like he was choosing a prey.
“Well, you choose, since you suggested it,” Charles said.
“Great! Charles, truth or dare?” Lando asked. Charles groaned, but accepted his destiny choosing truth.
“Wait,” Oscar intervened not letting Lando ask his question, “aren’t we gonna discuss the rules?”
“Oh, sure,” Lando said, “I’ll explain. So, when you’re asked ‘truth or dare’ you choose and either answer a question or do a dare.”
“No, I know that,” Oscar rolled his eyes, “I mean what if someone doesn’t want to do a dare or answer a question, do they drink or what?”
“There’s no option of not answering or not doing a dare,” Lando shrugged like it was the most obvious thing.
“I object,” George said. With these freaks he would like to have a way out even if it meant he would be dying in the morning.
“Ooh, someone has dirty secrets he isn’t ready to share with the group,” Alex said. George sent him an ‘I’m gonna kill you in your sleep’ stare.
“I don’t have ‘dirty secrets’, thank you very much, but if someone doesn’t want to answer an uncomfortable question we shouldn’t make them to. It’s no fun when you drag a person out of their comfort zone in what is meant to be a game for fun.”
“You’re so lame, it’s unbelievable,” Lando whined. “Ok, since you’re so fucking fragile, you can change an option, but you have to do something.”
George sighed, there is still a great chance to be fucked up by his lovely colleagues, but he didn’t have enough energy to continue arguing, so he just nodded.
“Perfect, we settled it. So, Charles, my question to you is: have you seen someone from the grid naked?”Lando asked with a grin.
“Lando, what the fuck?” Charles groaned. “You pervert.”
“I told you,” George said, checking on his phone because he saw a new notification. It was Alex.
“Have you seen how Charles and Carlos looked at each other after Lando’s question?” The message said. He turned to Alex and nodded. He has noticed it, but he didn’t want to entertain the thought of what it could mean further.
“Answering to your question, Lando, yes, I have seen someone from the grid naked,” Charles said.
“Who?”
“Myself,” Charles looked very happy with himself while Lando cursed.
“Well, have you seen someone else but yourself naked, you muppet?” Lando tried again.
“It is the second question to which I’m not gonna give you an answer, my friend.”
George chuckled. That was a good one by Charles. Everyone seemed to think this except for Lando. He was grumpy that Charles was obviously ruining his fun.
“Okay, my turn,” Charles claimed. “Franco,” he called. Franco stiffened as he was hoping everyone has forgotten about him already.
“Yes?” He asked cautiously.
“Truth or dare?”
“Truth.”
George tried to hide a smile. Franco was an exceptional liar, Alex has told him. The kid could lie outrageously well.
“Recently I saw you coming out of Lewis’s driver room in grumpy mood. What have you guys talked about that upset you so much?”
George heard someone whistling. Everyone seemed to stop breathing because any kind of rumor about Lewis always got all of them hyped up. Franco looked a little panicked for a second, but then he smiled and said, “I’m sorry to disappoint you, guys, but I just wanted to ask for advice from Lewis and he helped me a lot, actually, it was just a tough weekend, I wasn’t grumpy I was just tired, that’s all.”
Well, he was obviously lying. George could see his body language be nervous. Charles didn’t seem to believe him as well.
“But I heard you arguing,” he said.
“We were just talking loudly, probably,” Franco shrugged. “I would never argue with Lewis Hamilton.”
Well, okay, that was extremely fake and sarcastic. Everyone could see it. George felt intrigued enough to try to lure the information out of Lewis later. There was a big chance that Hamilton would just tell him to piss off, but George could at least try.
Franco chose Pierre for the next truth or dare. And Pierre being his usual chaotic himself chose dare. Franco made him call Flavio and say that he is going to skip the next week’s media day because of an awful diarrhoea. After, Pierre told Franco he will get his revenge. Franco looked pretty happy with himself.
In general this wasn’t the kind of disaster George expected it to be, but the questions and dares were indeed silly and embarrassing. He had to answer to Esteban’s question of who would he want to have as a teammate if he could choose. George was thankful that the question was from Esteban because Este was a great guy and he always was considerate and didn’t like to make people around him uncomfortable. However the rest of the group booed him because he said he doesn’t mind any teammate, telling him he needs to choose. So he chose Alex and was booed again because as Lando said: he was choosing a safe option. George ignored him. The only thing that was concerning George so far was Max. He was suspiciously quiet. He answered Carlos’s question but wasn’t commenting much on what was happening. George thought that maybe they all were too boring for him but when Este asked his question, Max looked up from his phone, and George felt like his gaze never left him since. He tried to ignore it but he would’ve lied if he said it wasn’t uncomfortable.
The silly questions continued as George felt if he was gonna drink more, he’d just pass out. He wasn’t wasted, no, just drunk. But he knew his limits perfectly well. Alex glanced over to him asking if he was okay, George nodded and asked for a glass of water. He was done with gin today. The turn came back to Charles and he smiled like he was waiting for it for forever.
“George! My dear friend!” Charles claimed in a very drunk voice. George cursed. He already chose truth twice which meant he couldn’t do it again. That was bad. Charles’s imagination could go any way. And any way won’t be a good thing for George.
“Yes, Charles? What can I do for you?” He always could just tell Charles to sod off and leave if he didn’t like the dare. Well, at least he was sure he could.
“Oh, not for me,” Charles smiled like a bloody lunatic. “But I’m sure you can do something for Max while you two will be doing seven minutes in Heaven in Lando’s closet.”
The room went completely silent.
“Excuse me?” George hoped he misheard and Charles did not just say that.
“You heard me, British boy. That’s my dare for you.”
“I’m sorry, what do I have to do with it?” Max suddenly said. George turned to him feeling almost grateful he wasn’t the only one who thought it was a terrible dare.
“Well, it’s the dare for George and since he can’t just sit by himself in a closet, he needs company and this company will be you, Max.”
“Why me?”
“Because I said so,” Charles shrugged showing that he will not reconsider his decision. Everyone was looking at George and Max silently waiting for their reaction.
“Charles, think again, please,” Max said in a very hoarse voice and only now George realised he was, in fact, very drunk.
“No, don’t even try to bargain, you agreed to the rules, now please be good boys and do the dare.”
“What are you gonna get from it?” George asked slightly annoyed.
“Entertainment,” Charles answered with a wide smile. George rolled his eyes. Okay, it’s not a big deal. He can spend seven minutes with Max in a small room. They don’t even need to talk. The dare is just to sit there. They can do it easily. Well, at least George can. He glanced over to Charles one last time and stood up. Max followed him. They both weren’t very steady on their feet but it was okay, too.
As they were approaching the closet door, Lando exclaimed, “Use protection and don’t spoil my clothes!” Max showed him a middle finger, and George just rolled his eyes again.
As they entered George realised he expected the closet to be a little bit more spacious. But apparently it’s not supposed to be big enough for two people because the main purpose of a closet is to get in, take the needed clothes and get out. But they still could stand here with a solid distance between them, George thought and at this exact moment Max sat down.
“What are you doing?” George asked confused.
“I’m not standing like an idiot for seven minutes here. Sit down, don’t be one.”
George wanted to argue but with Max sitting and him standing it looked even more awkward so he followed Max with a sigh. It took him couple of seconds to find a comfortable position to fit his legs and as he finished he realised their knees were touching. And there was no other way to sit comfortably in this space. So George decided not to make it a big deal. But for some reason he felt nervous. Probably because of the limited space, a solid amount of alcohol in his blood and Max’s intense eyes that he could barely see in the dark, but he just felt it.
“Why are you staring at me?” George asked feeling exposed even though it was dark and Max couldn’t see much obviously.
“There’s not many things to stare at,” Max shrugged. “Why are you staring back?”
“Why do you call me princess?” They asked their questions simultaneously. Max chuckled.
“Why? You don’t like it?”
“Who does?”
“Some people do.”
“Well, I’m not those people.”
“Okay,” the conversation seemed to amuse Max very much, “how do you want me to call you?”
“By my name would be fine.” George answered annoyed. Why is everything has to be a fucking game with Max?
“Boring.”
“Well, I’m sorry to bore you,” George clicked his tongue.
“Oh, no, princess, you of all people bore me the least.”
Okay, and how was he supposed to answer that?
“Good to know,” George said with no better ideas of what else to say. Max laughed at this and George felt his face getting closer to George’s.
“No, really does it piss you off when I call you a princess?”
“Could you please back off a little?” George asked trying to make more space between them but hitting his head with the shelf behind him instead.
“Nah, not before you answer my question.”
“Ugh,” George groaned. Arguing with Max was not for the weak but arguing with drunk Max was just impossible. “No, Max, it doesn’t piss me off, I’m just confused, that’s all.” He didn’t even lie. This honorific towards him always just made him wonder why Max uses this one, what is he trying to achieve with it? “Like, what are you trying to do? To insult me? I’m sorry but women’s honorifics don’t sound offensive to me.”
Max scoffed.
“No, in fact I’m not trying to insult you.”
“Then what are you trying to do?”
“Nothing, it just suits you.”
George sighed. Again, with a sentence he had no idea how to answer to.
“Okay,” he said.
“Or what,” Max got even closer, “do you want it to mean something?” Now George could feel his breath on his face and now he started to become nervous. Why does Max need to be in his personal space so bad?
“No, I don’t want it to mean anything. Please, can you back off?”
“Why? Are you uncomfortable?” George couldn’t see it, but he could feel Max was smiling.
“Yes, very much, so please…”
“Good,” Max interrupted him. “Maybe you’ll start telling the truth if you’re uncomfortable.”
“What truth, Max?” George sighed. He prayed to hear Charles’ voice telling them they could come out because it was starting to become very dangerous.
“Well, of course, about you not liking me calling you a princess.”
“This conversation doesn’t make sense to me,” George said. How much time did they still have to be in here?
“We can entertain ourselves with something more interesting then.” Max chuckled and George suspected some kind of innuendo in his words and wanted to ignore him but his curiosity was stronger than his common sense.
“With what exactly?”
After the question was asked, Max moved closer covering George’s mouth with his palm and whispered to his ear, “Don’t forget we’re here for seven minutes in heaven, we don’t have seven minutes anymore, but maybe four or five, and during this time I can show you different ways to use your pretty mouth, but only if you promise to be quiet, deal?”
George felt his heart skipping a beat because of what Max was saying to him, his lips touching George’s ear, but the realisation made him chuckle a little because Max was too full of himself for his liking. He removed his hand off his mouth to say almost amused, “If you think, I’m gonna give you a blowjob here in Lando’s closet you’re beyond delusional, Verstappen.”
Max went silent for a second and them George heard him laughing quietly pressing his forehead into George’s shoulder.
“I was implying on kissing, silly, but if you wanna blow me off so bad we can do it later at mine.”
George could feel his cheeks burn. Half from the shame and half from the amount of audacity Max was showing.
“You wish,” he said.
“Oh, yeah, I wish it very much. I’m sure your pretty doe eyes will be looking gorgeous filled up with tears when you’ll be gagging with my cock in your throat.”
George chocked on air after hearing that. He thanked the lack of lightning in the closet because he just knew he was bright red right now. The image got stuck in his head and he couldn’t get rid of it no matter how hard he tried to distract himself with literally any other thought. Max’s face was still pressed to his shoulder but he wasn’t laughing anymore. George wanted to push him away because he, once again, didn’t know what to say, but just wanted to become as far as possible from Max. His warm breathing felt like fire on George’s shoulder. But suddenly Max moved and George thought he’s about to back off since George didn’t reply to his last words. But instead of getting his personal space back he felt wet lips with a tongue slowly touching his neck. Max was kissing him in the neck in a way that would surely leave a mark.
“What the hell are you doing?” George whispered angrily.
Max didn’t answer him but just continued to leave wet kisses on his neck up to the jawline. George felt Max’s teeth slightly biting his skin and couldn’t hold a quiet sound.
“Mhm, I like the sound of that,” Max whispered. His voice wasn’t amused it was actually impatient as if he was turned on. “Do it again.”
“Max,” George called his name hoping this would bring some common sense into Verstappen’s empty head but he just muttered something illegible and continued with torturing George with his wet kisses. George closed his eyes and tilted his head back probably giving Max even more space to operate. He felt like his skin was burning, the temperature in the closet suddenly felt much higher than when they entered it. “Max, please, listen to me,” he tried again. It was important that Max heard him out because he soon won’t be able to formulate a sentence if this continues. He couldn’t let Max Verstappen ruin him like this in a fucking closet while their friends were just outside playing the stupidest game ever.
“Don’t want to,” Max said distracted for a second to say that, “you’re gonna say something stupid but reasonable,” he left another kiss, on George’s Adam’s apple this time, “and I just wanna get the most out of you before this ends and you hate me again.”
These words sounded so desperate and needy that George almost felt dizzy. He put his hand on Max’s head and pulled his hair a little just to put his other hand on Max’s cheek.
“Listen to me,” he started trying to catch Max’s eyes, “we can’t do it here, okay? If you’ll be a good boy for me, we go out of this bloody closet, finish playing this stupid game and after we will go to your place where you’ll do anything you want to me, okay?” He couldn’t believe he was actually saying it but the alcohol and the amount of desire he felt from Max was driving him crazy. He thought he could let it happen for once, he could indulge himself with this little wish and then blame it on alcohol if something goes wrong.
“You’re lying to me,” Max said and George couldn’t see his face clearly but he could tell he was pouting. It made him smile and feel a little bit light-headed.
“I’m not lying, I promise,” he didn’t know how to make Max believe him, but he needed him to behave right now.
“Swear. Swear that everything you said was true,” Max sounded like a spoiled child that wanted to make sure he would get what he wanted.
“I swear,” George said, caressing Max’s cheeks with his thumbs.
“Kiss me to prove it. Kiss me like you mean it.”
George breathed out and closed his eyes. He didn’t want to kiss Max. Not because he was lying to him but because he thought he wouldn’t be able to stop. But Max Verstappen was a very stubborn bastard when he wanted something so George complied. He leaned in and touched Max’s lips with his own. Max immediately pushed his tongue inside George’s mouth making the kiss wet and sloppy, but George couldn’t push him away because it just felt so fucking great. He moaned quietly into Max’s mouth and it seemed to make Verstappen even more eager. His lips always seemed very kissable to George and now he made sure he was right. Having Max’s lips on his own, having his tongue in his mouth, it felt so amazingly right and wrong at the same time, George almost gave up and forgot where they were. But when he heard his own moan being louder than he expected he pushed Max off.
“Okay, that’s enough for now,” he said in a very weak voice. “Remember to behave, alright? Nobody should suspect anything. And if you’ll be patient, I’ll give you anything you want from me, deal?”
“Uh-huh,” Max muttered brushing his nose against George’s cheek. “I’ll be at my best behaviour for you, princess.”
George felt his insides making a flip at this pet name again and now it seemed to affect him even more after the kiss they had.
“Okay, let’s calm down and ask these idiots of how much time is left.”
Max nodded and backed off to the place he initially was at. They evened their breaths and George asked loudly, “Charles, how much more time do we need to be in here?”
He heard laughter and then Charles answered, “The timer went off like two minutes ago, but I guess you didn’t hear it. You can come out already.”
“Shit,” George cursed quietly knowing they will never let him live it down. Max just giggled obviously not caring about a single thing. George wondered how they looked like but he felt okay-ish so he supposed nobody would notice anything.
When they came out, by the looks on everybody’s faces George knew everyone could tell exactly what they were doing in there.
“Lan, buy an a/c there, it’s impossible to breathe,” George said hoping to blame everything on a hot temperature in the closet.
“Well, I guess it was so hard to breathe in there so you guys needed to perform CPR on each other?” Alex chuckled and George was ready to strangle him for this joke.
“Very funny, Alexander,” he said not amused.
“Me and George are leaving,” Max said suddenly, dragging all the attention to himself.
“Of course you are,” Pierre said with a wide smile. George wished he could just die on the spot. Max didn’t seem to notice looks on everybody’s faces or he simply didn’t care. He took George’s hand in his and pulled him towards the door. George didn’t have any energy to try to make everything less obvious so he followed Max making a promise to himself that Verstappen would regret this kind of behaviour. He heard whistles as they came out of the door, and suddenly he smiled because that was almost the first time he followed his desires without looking back at anyone’s opinion.
He will deal with all this in the morning, right now he needs to make Max Verstappen regret his naughty behaviour.
