Work Text:
You really think someone could love you?
Those words repeated over and over again inside the demon's mind. It was the only memory he had.
It was madness.
He knew the answer now. He had known it for a while. He wasn't worthy of love, not in his past life and definitely not in this one.
He didn't need the reminder, yet ironically, he wishes to remember.
Who had been his muse?
Who was the person for whom he had sacrificed everything?
He has no idea. And that is truly driving him insane.
He was happy. They were happy. He is sure about that but he can't remember anything else.
Not a name.
Nor a face.
Not even their death.
Once he believed that ignorance was a blessing, the less you knew, the less you would worry, after all, he hadn't known pain until he discovered love, he lost himself on it and it was only then he realized no one would reciprocate his love, his passion, it was when Gwi-ma appeared, like whispers of the wind, and offered him a life next to his loved one. He, a fool, didn't know what he was signing for, he got his wish and in return the loss of his beloved and being a slave for Gwi-ma.
Romance knew better now, unfortunately it was a little bit too late.
Years passed, then decades and the pink haired demon was convinced that if he got the chance, he would have done all over again, anything to feel love even if it was an illusion, but then decades turned into centuries and it all became too much.
Let me remember was the demon only though. He never considered it a possibility, it was impossible, how to forget someone who had been so dear to you? He sacrificed everything for them. His name, his freedom, his soul. And now? He got nothing.
It seemed that even with an immortal body his mind had reached a limit.
Gwi-ma delighted with his suffering, just like he did with everyone else.
But the demon believed enough was enough. He was out of himself, trying everything in his power to end it all.
He tried to rip his own skin, with his claws yet it was useless, this body won't give up so easily. It wasn't fair at all, in his previous life he had feared death, now he sees it like a salvation.
He knows demons aren't exactly immortals, after all, they have been hunted for decades since the first generation of huntresses put limited Gwi-ma's strength and condemned them to this realm.
It's when he sees it crystal clear, a huntress would take mercy on him and finish his misery forever. Some would call it cowardly yet he prefers the term peace, nothing can be worse than being tormented by the empty lakes in his head.
The Honmoon is far from perfect, it's only a matter of time before a tear shows up, and it looks like for once, the universe decided to give him a hand, he can feel it, every demon can. It's an opening to the human world, a weakness in the Honmoon. He is not scared of dying a second time.
However, right when he was about to go into the portal, someone grabbed him by the arm and pushed him away.
“Don't” said a new voice. It belongs to a demon he has never seen before, tall, clearly strong since his grabbing was firm yet gentle, this demon didn't mean to cause any harm, an unusual generosity. He is completely shocked by the action, he is about to protest, to ask what is this all about, yet is wonderstruck by the man in front of him. The demon in question is the owner of a magnificent beauty, clearly more muscular than the average, deep yellow eyes full of concern and patterns that stand out that amazing body of his, he also had pink hair but it was a tone more obscure and shorter than his own. Overall, the man was a sight worthy of admiration.
“An opening means a battle on the other side, the huntresses may be close, we are safer here” the demon said, completely unaware of his inner thoughts, his voice was pleasant to hear too yet it was the genuine worry on his voice what caught his attention.
It was weird. Demons didn't truly care about each other, everyone was too busy trying to survive -between the huntresses and Gwi-ma there weren't many options- yet this particular demon decided to interfere to save him, a total stranger who was about to commit suicide. He was unable to say anything in return.
The other demon may have realized his surprise, his stare softened and he proceeded to talk with a more calmed voice “if it's souls what I want I would get them for you, you just need to wait a little. Just don't go there” the last part came with some desperation, it was confusing to say the least.
Why do you care? He wanted to ask, I didn't make sense, stealing souls was already complicated enough, getting souls for someone else might be an impossible task yet this demon was offering just that in order to save him.
Why?
“Please”
And that was what broke him, even his voice was charming, that, and the plea in his tone was more than enough to stop him.
“Fine. We will do it your way”
Only then, the other demon let go of his hand.
And he wouldn't admit it out loud but he already missed the touch.
“Who are you by the way?” He finally dared to ask.
The short haired demon gave him a predictable answer “I don't have a name”
“What do I call you then?”
“Whatever you want” the demon said, immediately regretting his choice of words, at least that was like it looked like judging by the shy blush appearing on his face.
Interesting
“Alright big guy”
With a confidence he didn't have a moment before, he got closer to the demon and took a good look. It was absurd how handsome he was, no demon has the right to be so beautiful. He took his sweet time in appreciating the man in front of him before finally choosing a name for his savior. The answer was pretty obvious.
“Abby”
Gone was his previous embarrassment. The other demon smirked, clearly aware of the meaning behind it, he seemed to enjoy the attention he got.
“Nice, I like it” his tone was painfully sincere in contrast to his confident smile, maybe the concept of having a name after who knows how many decades was something unfamiliar yet welcome for the muscular demon.
“So, what about you?”
“I don't have a name, not that I can remember at least” he tried his best to not show how much that annoyed him. That's how it started, years of hearing whispers of shame did that to him, it was the first sign of warning, he was slowly becoming a mere puppet for Gwi-ma with nothing to hold on to.
Abby must have sensed some of that frustration, cause he took a step closer to looking at him from head to toe. It should have been uncomfortable to get someone so close to him -he had been on his own since the first moment he stepped on the demon realm so he wasn't a fan of others invading his personal space- however, he found out he enjoyed the other attention completely focused on him, Abby was gorgeous, it was intoxicating to have someone so divine staring at him, he definitely wanted to have those eyes looking at him more often.
“I will think of something I promise” As if the glaring wasn't enough, the tallest demon uses one of his hands to run his fingers through his long hair, the touch is so soft that it makes him melt under it, Abby doesn't seem aware of his action which somehow makes this moment more intimate between them.
“I'lll be waiting on the meantime” he takes Abby's hand with his own, only then the demon notice of what he was doing, there is a shy blush at the realization, it's adorable in a way than makes him smile like a fool “I will need some souls”.
He made sure to use a joking tone, true was, he didn't like the idea of Abby risking himself like that. Huntresses get stronger each generation while demons get weaker every day that passes.
As for him, he didn't care. It's been long enough since his descent into madness begun, and even longer since the last time he absorbed a soul, he, contrary of his companion, is extremely weak, which is why he thought he would be able to end his existence with ease -clearly he had been wrong about the last part- and in all honesty, he doesn't care about it, after all he doesn't have a reason to fight anymore.
However, a selfish part of him wanted to test it. Abby had sounded so determined before in his attempt to stop him that he wanted to see if Abby was serious about it. Then again he didn't think Abby would be stupid enough to jump into the huntresses' claws for him.
He wasn't worth the risk.
“As you wish, but I'll need some time” there was no joke or hesitation in his tone.
.
Abby
The long haired demon had said, he didn't hesitate, didn't think of it and it was probably meant to be a joke. And even then, it had been the most care someone had ever had over him in centuries.
He can't pretend he cares about his memories of his name, that was a battle he lost since the moment Gwi-ma claimed property over his soul.
In all those years, he had been witness of how demons lost everything that was left of them, it was a tortuous process where the human form was slowly turned into a more monstrous one, those demons had lost any connection with their soul, nothing more than an empty shell.
Abby spent decades considering that would have been a mercy on him, yet never happened. He may not remember anything but he can feel everything.
Loneliness, fear, pain. And his unexplainable caring nature. He tried to not show it but he always wondered if there was something he could do to lighten the weight on someone else's shoulders. Yes they were demons and yes they were doomed to suffer for an eternity, but even so Abby desired to help someone else just a little.
You can't. The voices murmured, and he knows it's true, he had always been weak and not even a deal with Gwi-ma could change that.
Abby wanted to stop feeling. It was his only wish, it would make his existence a little more tolerable.
Despite everything, the moment he saw a demon walking into the opening, he couldn't help it, he needed to do something. Against his better judgement, he went to prevent the demon from committing suicide, no one deserved to die by the hands of the huntresses, their rage was comparable to the demon's king.
However, Abby was not prepared for what happened then, the demon in front of him was the most glorious man he had ever seen. The demon still conserved most of his human form -except maybe for the small fangs and the golden eyes, but that was to be expected- a tall and slim man with long and fine hair, a tone of pink lighter than his own and with some jewelry that enhanced his natural beauty.
Their eyes met and Abby saw the same emptiness he knew his pupils reflected, and Abby decided that such beautiful eyes should never project a desperate stare, at that moment his only desire was to give the demon something to hold on a little longer.
So unnatural was this need that he ended up offering souls to the other demon. He wasn't aware of his words but he couldn't regret them now, and it's not like he wanted to, all he knows is that this can't be his last encounter with this demon.
He needs a promise, anything to be sure the demon will be waiting for him at least one last time.
Abby doesn't mind, he has all the time in the world.
Eventually days passed and he hasn't been able to go to the human world to get a single soul. At the same time he hasn't succeeded in thinking of a name to the owner of his thoughts, he wants something special but is an impossible task when he doesn't know anything about the other.
To his relief and shame, he and the long haired demon had met more than once after that, at first Abby thought it were mere coincidences or his broken spirit unconsciously searching for the other, whatever it was, Abby wouldn't complain.
Truth to be told Abby had never understood humans even if he once was one of them. Humans wasted their lives in the search of a purpose, humans resigned everything they were in order to fit, humans always wanted something else, they were never satisfied. He, on the other hand, would have settled with being useful enough to protect someone, and right now, that though finally gives him enough strength to fulfil his promise.
.
He and Abby have met each other more times than he could have expected.
It was weird but not in a bad way. More like he got so used to the only company of the voices in his head that having some actual physical being next to him was a completely new experience.
None of them talked too much but that didn't matter, he realized he liked having Abby next to him. The guy was strangely sweet, even if he didn't say anything Abby just looked at him with the brightest smile on his face and that was more than enough.
Slowly they were used to having small talks even if they never said anything useful, it was the closest he had ever been of having peace so he would take it.
But definitely the best moments were the ones where they helped each other to rediscover details about themselves.
For example, there was this time where he was humming some melodies and suddenly Abby was moving in a different way, like he was dancing. It was addictive to see and Abby himself was surprised with his own actions. He wanted to test it again so he kept humming the song until he notices he remembers the verses of this song -although he fails to know where this knowledge came from- and starts singing, before they realized what they are doing, they are actually dancing to their own rhythm, he lets Abby leads, because of course he does.
Or the time where Abby went to the human world -he didn't explain why so he didn't ask- and was able to steal some stuff, most of it was useless but there was a necklace that for some reason catched his attention and Abby gave it to him as a gift.
Not even once they have talked about the souls Abby promised but that was fine, he doesn't really care and it was probably something he didn't really mean, more like an attempt to stop him from going into the huntresses' weapons.
He doesn't care, right now he is perfectly pleased with spending his miserable eternity with someone else even if it's just temporary.
It would be soon when Abby realizes he doesn't have any more reasons to waste his time with him and forget about his promise.
.
Turns out, the demon was death serious.
It's been a while since their last meeting and he hadn't seen Abby in a while till the point he thought he may have forgotten about him. And he shouldn't care, Abby didn't own him anything -quite the opposite really- and they had barely talked, he shouldn't miss someone just because of it.
But it was in his nature. He doesn't do things halfways, he always puts his heart on everything and it was what got him in this situation to begin with. He had loved too much, he had given too much, and he had put everything on the line, only to lose his lover and himself in the process.
He couldn't repeat the same mistake again just because of a demon with insane looks and an atypical caring soul.
So lost was in his thoughts when Abby appeared in front of him and cornered him out of nowhere, he was confused and about to ask what was happening until he felt the souls being absorbed by his body.
It was like a glass of fresh water on a hot day of summer, like seeing the sky after being locked in darkness. He didn't have the words to describe it, all he knows is that he feels alive for the first time in centuries.
Only then he has the chance to appreciate the other demon. Abby is obviously exhausted, he even shows some injuries although none of them seems truly deep.
His heart weights with guilt at the sight.
“Told you I will” are Abby's only words before finally collapsing, luckily he is fast enough to catch him.
“Abby?”
“I will be fine” he murmurs before blacking out.
.
By the time he wakes up he is in a different place, panic is about to take over him until he feels the other demon presence next to him, his hand caressing his forehead, the touch being so tender that Abby would fall asleep to it.
“Relax big guy, it's just me” Abby shivers to the sound, the voice is full of warmth, it should belong to an angel and not a demon.
Abby realizes then his head is on the other's lap, and as comfortable as it is he feels he should get up, the demon has been taking care of him long enough. However, Abby is enjoying being so close to the long haired demon, so he will abuse his luck just a little longer.
“What happened?”
“You passed out” Abby is disappointed with the news, he is supposed to be stronger than this, “then I brought you here” the unnamed demon finally explains.
Abby decided to look at his surroundings, there was nothing special about this place other than the isolation. That was hard to get on the demon realm, more often than not, masses of demons were in the same place, each one more lost than the other, desperate for freedom, the Honmoon being their prison, Gwi-ma being their tyrant.
But here, they were alone. How did the long haired demon find this place and why no one else has was a mystery to Abby, one he didn't care to resolve, instead he was grateful for the other company. There was something intimate about the demon sharing this place with him.
“I must admit I didn't expect you would do it” the other murmured “stealing souls is already hard enough, giving souls to satisfy another demon is crazy” the demon paused for a second, and the next time he talked, there was some sadness in his voice ”and you did it for me, a total stranger”.
“Then don't be a stranger” Abby said in return.
The demon stopped his caressing and Abby thought he made a big mistake. He truly wanted to meet the other demon, what was about him that captivated him so much? Abby didn't know, and he was almost desperate for it, yet he was willing to live in mystery if that meant the other would stay with him. He was about to apologize when the other finally found his voice.
“I hate to disappoint you but there's nothing to say really” Abby wanted to argue, there was something special about this demon, he couldn't explain it, but since the first time he saw him Abby felt immediately attracted to him, his soul was different from others, it was full of passion, full of life, Abby didn't understand it but he had the urge to get met the demon and when he realized what the demon was planning to do, Abby knew he had to stop him.
“I disagree” He paused, Abby really wants to gain his trust “c'mon I will listen to whatever you want to share with me, someone as beautiful as you definitely has something to say” the last part may have been unnecessary, but Abby couldn't help it. The long haired demon was pretty, more than that, he was the most ethereal creature he had ever seen, even his claws were elegant, Abby was already missing his gentle touch.
“I forget my own name that should tell everything about me” he said with a humorless laugh “although I do remember how I ended up here”
The way he said it made Abby curious, but he didn't want to push, instead, he tried to encourage the other a little by talking about his own story and the shame that would never leave him alone.
“Then I guess we have a lot in common ” he joked “I was weak once, the voices were loud about it all the time and-” he paused being aware of his actions, he was about to talk about his memories, the last vestige of his previous existence, with a demon he knew for only a second time.
He didn't have any pride left, no, their king was constant in reminding him he was nothing more than a mere pawn, but even so he wondered why he cared about someone knowing his secrets.
Every soul trapped here made something in their previous lives, they succumbed to the temptation of Gwi-ma's promises and now they were paying the price of their greed.
I sacrificed everything I got in exchange for a body strong enough to protect the ones around me, in the end there was no one I could protect, he took everything from me. It was pathetic, and Abby couldn't stand the idea of telling the other demon how fragile he truly was.
And something in his body must have betrayed him cause the demon saw right through him.
“I get it. You don't have to tell me, and if it's give you any solace I also gave my soul to Gwi-ma because of someone else”
“Am I that obvious?” Was Abby only respond, how did the other could read him so easily despite the short time they have shared together?
“I have seen your stare in my own eyes more times than I would like to admit” said the long haired demon.
Abby stands up, but doesn't move so much, he just sits next to the demon so he can look at the other's eyes. It's the least he can do if he wants to win the demon's trust.
So Abby talked about how little he could remember his previous fears now gone, the other demon patiently listened without interrupting.
By the time Abby was done, he was hoping the other demon would leave.
He didn't, instead something else happened.
“We may not be that different”
The demon talked. He told Abby about some impossible love, how he hadn't been enough, how he knew he never will. He told Abby about how much he wanted his feelings to be reciprocated and how he ended up listening to Gwi-ma and his promises of finally being accepted.
To be unconditionally loved by who he was.
And lastly, he told Abby about how that fantasy didn't last long, how he lost his lover and how somehow he was sure it was because of him. Maybe it was part of Gwi-ma's scheme, maybe his lover had lived longer if they chose someone else.
It was useless to torture himself with hypotheticals but deep down he knew it had been his fault.
“You know the worst part? I can't remember them now” the demon said with a broken voice “There was someone who once was special to me and now I forgot everything about them” the demon deflected his glance at somewhere else during the last part.
Abby was speechless. Unlike the demon in front of him, Abby had never understood love, as far as he can remember, it was what drove people around him insane. Everyone talked about love like it was the only thing that would give meaning to his life, Abby didn't get it.
How could something be so beautiful if it meant so much pain?
The concept was unfamiliar for him. And it was pathetic he couldn't find anything useful to say, he wouldn't lie saying everything would be fine, that was an obvious lie and they both knew it.
Instead, he threaded his hands, a gesture the other demon welcomed with a soft smile and that gave Abby the strength to get closer to the other and touch his face.
“Romance” he said.
The demon gave him a confused look.
“Tell me if you hate it and I will think in something else but” Abby stopped talking just to try to put his thoughts into words “it's just your soul is so passionate, I can feel it, since the first moment I saw you it just made me want to be close to you” he was being a little too honest but he didn't care, when the demon said nothing he kept talking “so if you don't mind, I will like to call you Romance”
After minutes that felt like hours, the other finally talked.
“I feel like you're making fun of me”
“Never”
“It's a little cruel don't you think so?”
“I’m sorry I'll-” before Abby could finish, the demon grabbed him by the neck, it was so close their foreheads were touching.
“No. You choose it so I'll keep it” and that was the only warning he got before Romance pressed his lips against his.
Romance
The name was a mockery, it wasn't even a name, just an empty noun that summarized his poor poor life decisions.
But none of that mattered.
It wasn't about the name itself, it was the look of pure adoration in Abby's eyes when he said it. He wanted to give him something, he wanted a name to call him. Unlike him, who named the demon as a joke based on his appearance -and even then, the demon took pride in the name as if it had some meaning to him- Abby wanted to give him something more personal.
Something he could call his.
Something different from the murmurs in his head.
Something of his own.
Romance
It was silly of him to get emotional over something so pathetic but he couldn't help it. Abby said it with so tenderness it made him weak on his knees. He was kissing the demon out of mere impulse, unable to find a way with words.
And he couldn't stop.
Romance was taking it slow, lost in the feeling of the lips against his, yet giving Abby the option to pull back.
He didn't. So Romance didn't stop. He can't remember ever kissing someone or what it is supposed to feel but he isn't thinking about any of that, he just wants to taste the other's tongue, to take everything he can.
I guess I will never learn, he thought, decades of regret and he was just being as passionate as always. Giving everything he has at first sign of attention.
He was a lost cause.
His tortured mind did little to distract him, as the kiss continued he could feel Abby's claws in his neck and waist, as he was afraid Romance would go anywhere. To prove how wrong he was, Romance bites Abby's lip to force him to open his mouth, using the opportunity to deepen the kiss and slipping his tongue inside the other's cavity. Abby growls in appreciation and tightness his holding against him.
Romance can feel a moan escaping against his will, the sound makes Abby smirks and moves his lips to Romance's jaw just to give him a moment to breathe.
The next second, Abby moves his hands to the back of his head pulling his hair a little in the process, Romance shivers at the action, overwhelmed by the feeling, Abby must share his drunken state judging by the lost stare on his eyes.
“Romance” he says with a broken voice, he loves how his new name sounds in the other's lips.
He loves how drunk the other looks just after a single kiss -although he is being an hypocrite knowing he must share a similar expression-, even so, Abby's looks like he wants to devour him and it gives Romance some strange powerful feeling.
Something in his staring must reveal how he feels, cause Abby gives him a confident smile before pulling his hair again, manhandling him where he wants so he can kiss and lick his neck.
Romance is surprised yet not opposed to the treatment, he can't control the sounds he is making and it only encourages Abby to bite him harder.
He can’t breathe, he can think and his skin burns everywhere Abby touches him, it’s scary, it’s fascinating and Romance doesn’t know what to do with all these feelings. He never thought he would be stupid enough to make the same mistake twice, of giving what was left of him to someone else.
Romance hates how conflicted his mind feels at a moment like this, he was enjoying how good the demon is making him feel. Abby deserves better than this.
“Abby” he is unable to recognize his own voice yet something in his tone is enough to make Abby stop.
Romance is divided between gratefulness and disappointment, but in the end, he understands this is better for him. After decades of isolation so much physical contact was frying what was left of his consciousness so it may not be his best idea to get so intimate so soon.
A little late to consider how he had no problem in throwing himself to Abby without a second thought, but hey, better later than never.
Gone is the confident demon, right now Abby's eyes only reflect worry, afraid of having gone too far. Romance gives him a chaste kiss to calm him down.
“You took me out of guard” it’s a short version of saying nobody has touched me since forever and I’m scared of how easy it’s for me to trust you .
“That should be my line”
“It didn't seem like you were complaining”
Abby's eyes relaxed at the teasing comment and they spent the rest of the day -or it was night? It's not like they could keep the tracking of time here- sitting next to each other in a comfortable silence until they finally gave up to sleep.
.
Abby was the first one to wake up not so long later, he was grateful to see Romance was still by his side.
So it wasn't a dream.
He touches his lips and immediately blushes at the memories, how good it had felt the contact on his skin, how he wanted to be as close as physically possible to Romance, the sounds he made and how he melted under the other's kisses.
He wouldn't be able to forget, not this, Gwi-ma might have taken everything from him and he may be the owner of his broken mind. But this? This is his.
He doesn't care if it was a one time thing and Romance refuses to touch him during the next millennium, Abby can live with that knowing that for a moment, only moment, someone else trusted him, someone has stayed and someone allowed him to take.
Romance gave him a name.
Romance kissed him.
Romance accepted what Abby gave him.
Abby could live with that.
Feeling confident enough, he played with Romance's hair while he was still sleeping, the demon unconsciously relaxed at the touch and he tried to get closer to it. Slowly, Romance woke up, clearly disoriented about his surroundings, then a shocked expression replaced his previous pace.
“You stayed?” His tone revealed how pleasant this surprise had been.
“Of course” Abby replied as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Romance cups his face and kisses him again, it was different than before, a conscious decision instead of an impulse one, Romance was taking his sweet time, as if he was trying to memorize every little reaction and sound Abby would give him.
Abby didn't try to fight it, he would happily accept anything Romance would have him, at the same time, he took it as a sign of permission, he was allowed to want, to desire, a rarity for someone who had given up on everything so many decades ago.
The kiss ended sooner than he would have liked but that was fine, the smile Romance was giving him was just as satisfying.
“I will stay with you for as long as you want me” he means it. The idea of how much power Romance has over of him terrifies him a little, Romance had him on his knees from the first time they talked to each other, and for the first time in his demon life Abby is willing himself to feel, even if he is not sure of how describe his own emotions.
Romance smirked in response, but his eyes shined with joy “well that's gonna be a problem for you”
“Try me”
.
Days became weeks, weeks turned into months, then years and decades, Gwi-ma was getting weaker and more insufferable as a result but at least one thing was constant, Abby never left his side.
I love him. Romance thought although he never said it out loud, it was an unspoken promise, he loved Abby, he gave him the chance to feel something other than fear and shame, Abby was sweet, way too nice for being a demon and in all his glory, he chose to spend the rest of his days with someone like him. Romance won’t deny his adoration for the guy, it’s been way too long since then would give his own soul to Abby if he could, and even if he never found the courage to confess how much the other meant to him, he knew Abby understands, they both do, and that’s something not even time or Gwi-ma could chance.
“Hey Abb” he greeted.
“Ro, where have you been?”
“Missed me my love?”
Abby didn’t answer, he just smirked and kissed his hand, never breaking eye contact, Romance shivered at the touch "always”.
“Well, no need to worry I just met someone, did you know we are not the only freaks who enjoy the pleasant sound of music?”
“It’s that so?”
“Yeah this guy Jinu, he has a bipa and everything, I liked his voice”
“I definitely want to meet him if you think he is worth of compliments”
Romance laughed, Jinu was a reserved guy and he might not be happy about the idea of talking to more demons. Which is exactly why Romance even mentions him in the first place, annoying the guy is almost as amusing as listening to his music. Jinu is a talented man Romance would give him that, he wonders what possible crime this dude could have made to end up in a place like this.
“Trust me it would be worthy, besides I think Derpy may adore you, you will love him my dear”
“Derpy?”
“The fluffiest tiger I have ever seen”
“That 's it. I’m meeting this Jinu guy”
Romance smiled at the idea, Abby would love Derpy and the mental image already had him grinning from ear to ear. Who knew, maybe it wouldn't be that bad to get close with Jinu.
“Come with me tomorrow, I’m sure things could get interesting.”
