Summary:
Took up sketching. These aren't great, but they're some initial layouts for a few scenes from Grimshaw, and a couple bonuses.

Chapter 1: Crow's Roast Inn
Summary:
Meant to depict the Crow's Roast Inn and/or the Crawford Inn, where Grace Morgan stays during her first few nights in Grimshaw and/or Grimstead. I have in mind that it's a courtyard surrounded by other buildings, with the inn itself at the very end of a lane which is lined by bare trees on either side. The inn is a bit of a rickety building from the outside, and the trees are where the crows roost at night, giving way to the (altered) name for its iteration in Sorrows Of Blackwood: Solemn Graces.
I didn't draw the inn here, but that's okay. Just testing layout and basic architectural shapes, really.
