You Go Down (Just Like Holy Mary)

Summary:

After moving in and discovering his washer and dryer are in fact broken, Viktor picks up a cheap set that came with an ominous warning;

They were cursed.

He paid little mind to the warning. Until he gets the dateviators, and discovers, this duo isn’t like the rest of his household objects.

Or TLDR- Oc x Stackables werewolf and vampire AU!

Notes:

Hii!!! I know a few people wanted to see me write this! I hope you enjoy. I’ll be working on part one (5-7 chapters) the next few weeks! School starts soon so I don’t know how much time I’ll have but my Washford and drysdale hyper fixation is still going strong..

Chapter 1: Bewitch You

Chapter Text

Six months ago

Moving into a new place wasn’t fun. Especially when the washer and dryer the landlord had supposedly promised would work were completely trashed. There was nothing exciting about having to go out and shop the entire day, hoping to find a set of appliances that wasn’t going to break the bank. All the new models were way too expensive. Hell, even the old ones were way out of budget.

Until he found them.

“How much for these two?..”

Viktor was in the back of a sketchy secondhand appliance store. Everything else here was also out of his budget. This was the fifth place he visited and he was getting really tired of simply window shopping. The old lady running the store looked at him. She seemed a little hesitant but gave a price

“150.”

He blinked. There was no way.

“Each?”

“For both of them. Do not separate them. They work good together.”

That was weird. Really wearied. But he didn’t think much of her comment.

“Really?”

He hesitated. Nothing was ever that good for that price. Plus, the models seemed far outdated compared to the old one he had.

“Yes,”

They were banged up pretty badly, scuff marks and scratches all over the metal surface. But…he couldn’t beat that price.

“Sure. I’ll take them.”

Viktor had to admit the orange and blue were a little bit intriguing. He loved his colors after all. The lady helped him bring them to his car, cramming them in the back of the less than ideal moving van.

“Be warned..this is not a normal washer and dryer..”

“Okay?..are they defective then?”

“Worse…they’re cursed.”

“What?

That’s probably why they were so cheap.

“Can I get a-“

“No refunds! Have a good day!”

He groaned as she scurried back inside. Hopefully they worked okay. Viktor didn’t care about the curse stuff though. If his washer killed him in 15 years, so what? Viktor drove home, dragging the set inside.

He stacked them on top of each other, not having enough room to put them side by side

This was nice. It seemed like maybe things were turning around.

The Present

Viktor was busy trying to fix that god damn washing machine yet again. It had broken on him during an overnight cycle. He heard it bang wildly over night, thrashing about violently. He couldn’t afford to hire somebody professional to deal with it. So here he was with a tool box on one side and phone pulled up on YouTube on the other.

“Come on, can you start working? Please?”

He pleaded to the machine, hoping maybe it would listen. The washer in particular had a tendency to stop working once a month. He heard a few weird noises and sighed as it hummed to life.

“Thank you!..piece of shits, both of you..”

First he had been fired right from

His new job.. Then, of course his appliances had to break..again. Viktor should’ve known better than to trust that old lady in a dark store talking bullshit about cursed appliances. But there was nothing he could do now except making them last as long as possible-

CRASH!

He ran outside to see what had just knocked into his door. Outside was a tiny box. Weird. He didn’t remember ordering anything online recently. His phone finally pinged with a message from Thiscord.

“What the hell?”

This was getting weird. He read the message and quickly brought the box inside, opening it to see what was inside. A set of glasses. What the hell, why not? Viktor slipped them on, curious to see what would happen next…

“Hey there! Your life is about to change!”

The pink haired lady smiled at him. Skylar went through her whole spiel, explaining the glasses. Viktor was intrigued at least. He followed her instructions and was excited to see what these new glasses had in store for him. Little did he know, his life was really about to change…

Starting with that washer and dryer.

Meanwhile, in the Laundry Room

“Can the human finally see us?”

Drysdale was standing next to the door, listening to the conversations they were having. Washford nodded.

“It sounds like it.”

He clapped his hands excitedly. Drysdale practically drooled at the thought of finally getting to sink his fangs into his pretty little neck. Drinking every last drop of blood, until they were nothing more than an empty husk-

“You think he’s gonna come here soon? He sounded pretty angry at us Drydee..”

Washford was picking at the bandages on his arm. The last cycle was rough, and he did feel a bit bad the human was always the one to repair him every time.

“Nonsense..that wasn’t your fault…”

He paused. He was right. Hopefully the human will want to see them soon. Drysdale just couldn’t wait any longer. And it wasn’t like Washford being hurt was his fault. He knew that, right?…

“He’ll be soon enough Washy..then..then I’ll pounce on him!”

The other objects in the laundry room avoided them like the plague. Ever since they were brought home, the pair was regarded as nothing but trouble. Even Dorian was hesitant to come out around the pair. They were, after all, cursed. Nothing more to the rest of the objects than beasts unable to control themselves. Not that they were wrong, were they?

“Don’t hurt him too much…we still need him around the house. To help everyone else-”

“To hell with them!..I love you…but I need another source of food..and he will suffice.”

They peaked out the door to get a better look at him. Bright red, pale, and skinny. Baggy clothes covering his frame. Washford wasn’t sure if the creature could even handle Drysdale instantible hunger.

“Are you sure about this? I’m more than willing to support you Drydee-”

“He’ll be fine! He’s not gonna die if I only take a little…”

Washford shook his head.

“But you’re not gonna do that, are you. You don’t have the best impulse control-“

“Be quiet!” He snapped, turning towards him.

Washford froze. Drysdale sighed and turned away.

“This human is exactly what we need, trust me.”
