· I personally think Legato would have trouble connecting with anyone, tbh. His friendship would be a little hard to earn if you weren't already working with him under Knives' command. And even if you did work together, it'd still be a little difficult.
· Considering he was a sex slave at one point, I don't think he'd like to be touched. He's obviously going to let Knives do whatever he wants to him, but anyone else? They're probably going to end up with broken fingers/hands, if not dead completely for daring to touch him without permission.
· A relationship with Legato would be difficult, but not totally impossible. You'll just have to accept the fact that no matter what happens, he's always going to put Knives above you. But after Knives? You come next and no one else is ever going to take that spot from you.
· And as his partner, he'd be much more tolerant towards you when it came to touch. Still, if you're respectful of boundaries, touch adverse, or are waiting for him to make the first move, you're going to be waiting quite a while. Unless you attempt contact first, he's not likely to do so on his own and if he does it'll either be under set circumstances or months, perhaps even years before he does it on his own accord.
· Though, if you do make the first move to initiate affectionate contact, he might get the wrong idea as he's unused to genuine affection. He'd probably think you want to take things much farther when in reality all you wanna do is hold his hand or kiss his cheek. He'd be baffled, really, when he either starts passionately kissing you and grabbing your hand to press it against his chest or perhaps even starts to strip and you start to protest.
· 'This is what you want, isn't it? My body?' You'll have to explain to him that no, you just want to hold his hand. He's so confused?? You don't... Want to take it farther? You just... Want to hold his hand? Are you scared? Is there something bothering you? You know he won't let anyone harm you, right?... That's... Not the case?
· It's gonna take him a bit to get used to affection without feeling like you're expecting something or want more from him. It actually makes him a little uneasy at first. But the more it happens, the more he'll get used to and actually enjoy it.
· He loves to just have you curled up against his side whenever you're sitting together on the couch. He'll lay his head on top of yours and wrap an arm around you. It usually ends with the two of you napping together. He just gets so comfortable and content.
· He'll treat you mostly like he does everyone else? Especially in public. He'll walk close to you, certainly, but only those with a trained eye will catch the softness in his gaze when he looks at you or the slightly softer tone he uses when addressing you.
· And he won't be adverse to you clinging to him in public to keep from being separated or if your frightened by something or someone. There will be times where a sort of protectiveness will rise in him when you do this and he'll put an arm against your back or grab your side. In private, he's much more affectionate and takes to resting his head in your lap so you can run your fingers through his hair and caress his face.

· When it comes to the more sexual side of things, this man has no shame so he's open to trying everything and mostly willing to go along with whatever you want. If you hesitate, he'll take on the more dominant role in that he'll grab your hand to press against his body to let you touch and feel, but the more your hands begin to wander on their own, the more he becomes submissive.
· He wants you to give him orders, to tell him what you want, what you like, and when to stop. · Take the lead, be gentle with him and praise him. He'll come apart beneath you, might even cry as he protests, saying how you're being too soft with him and that he doesn't deserve this gentle care. Hold his hands in yours, intertwine your fingers as you kiss him.
· Tell him to shush, that he's your world and you care about him. His thoughts and opinions matter to you, and he's not a waste of space to you. You'll have him shaking and holding you tight, like you might disappear if he lets go.
· It gets to where he craves your touch, your kindness and affection. He wants you to hold him, make him feel alive again. Your validation and praise become important, and it might become even to an unhealthy degree.
· You'll never meet another man who can kiss quite as passionately as Legato, his tongue delving inside your mouth to draw a moan out of you. His touches and kisses are reminiscent of a starving man getting his first meal in days.
