Utopia

Summary:

To live my life a trifle,
Oh, how a dream that would be.
But would I stifle..?
How would that affect me..?
Oh well, let the river be.

Chapter 1: Where Are We Going? Prologue

Chapter Text

Utopia.

Utopia is a place where you can find pure air
A place where everyone is kind, polite and fair
A place where there are Angels flying everywhere
A place where there is neither sadness nor despair.
In Utopia unique humans are not so rare They all love each other and for emotions care Everything and everyone's ideal I'm aware
No envy, lying or hypocrisy - I swear
I really really wish I really could be there But going to Utopia's a big affair.

—— This was new. At least, for Eliza, a sixteen year old blondie blue eyes. She was moving. New street, new town, and most importantly, new faces. A way to start anew.

She didn't even want this – she was quite content with her old life, actually– which, for a "kid", it was to be expected. Well, she thinks it is. Is a sixteen year old a kid?

It was decided on the moment she was told, so it must've been, right? It wasn't that it was too late to go back on the decision...

Maybe she did have a say in the whole ordeal...

No matter. They were already approaching the new house with the truck in toe.

It wasn't a town in the middle of nowhere. Then again, it was in Canada, which other then places like Toronto and Winnipeg or something like that, it might as well have been.

'Well, atleast I get to try Tim Hortons for the first time...'
She thought as their car speeded through the highway.

Eliza Canary,–being the bored nerd she is as of the current–read the whole map of Canada and all the cities and stuff twice which is how she even knew about Winnipeg at all.

Oh, what boredom could compel even the stubbornnest of people to do.

She lowered the window of her families car and looked outside to see a blur of green of the leaves and the black tar of the road as they sped past, the wind blowing in her blonde messy hair.

The sky was a grayish blue, which entailed a storm brewing.

'Best to close the window...'
She thought, and yet she didn't do such a thing. She only kept looking out the window.

She always liked the feeling of light raindrops on her skin, for some odd reason, it had some sort of whimsy to it Eliza couldn't explain. While Eliza thought, the first few drops of rains fell.

"Close the window, dear! The sky is cracking open!"
Her mother said, to which Eliza complied.

"Yeah, I know, mama." Eliza responded nodding and closing the window, the thing ever so slowly going up which let a few raindrops sneak in.

While that was happening, a few miles away, another girl in the very town she was going to was at the school Eliza was enrolled onto, and the one with which she'll find the most exciting and terrifying time of her life awaiting her.

Notes:

Hehehe, do I feel icky? Surprisingly, no! do I regret it? Not yet! Oh, ending it with a cliff hanger is always such a banger!! Hey, wait, that rhymed! Kinda feel bad though cuz there was only one actual line in the epilogue--
Edit: Okay, now there are two, today is a good day!
