7 Minutes In Heaven Is All I Need To Get With Him

Summary:

They both stood still, staring at each other with something that seemed on borderline need. They didn’t have the courage to grab one by the collar and slam their lips together.

It’s much easier said than done.

The two knew they mutually wanted each other, knowing they were too afraid to make the first move.

Si-eun exhaled softly.

Fuck it. He’s going to address the elephant in the room.

“If you’re gonna keep being annoying, just kiss me and get it over with.”

Or:

Si-eun and Su-ho gets freaky in Baku's closet at a grad party during seven minutes in heaven.

────୨ৎ──── later on that night

Si-eun stood in the corner of Hu-min’s porch, his phone gripped tight in his hand as if it could anchor him from what could go down in his house. He was far from a party person, not anywhere close to wanting to be inside of a building filled with people. But here he was, introducing himself to his worst fear possible. People. Loud, obnoxious drunk people.

He sighed in impact, his fingers hovering over his phone as he finally typed in his arrival.

Yeon_Sieun032: I’m here.

A few seconds later, the group chat lit up.

baku_ deeznuts: YO HE’S HERE 🔥 LET’S GOOOOOOOO

ahn.suh00: stay put. i’ll come grab you

Si-eun sighed, throwing his phone in his pocket as he was starting to regret showing up.

Even outside Hu-min's house, he could hear the muffled bass thumping through the walls mixed with the sounds of loud laughter and voices. He twitched the knob and walked in.

Immediately- Chaos.

Hu-min’s place was packed.

There were groups on the couches, some on the stairs with red cups filled with alcohol, others crowded around a beer pong table.

There was also a cluster of girls from the neighboring school who laughed near the kitchen, and someone who was yelling about karaoke.

It was loud, so fucking loud.

Si-eun froze.

Too many people. Too much noise. He had to get out of here. This is not for him.

He’s getting ou-

Si-eun!”

He turned to his side, spotting Su-ho waving through the crowd. Even in a plain black hoodie and jeans, Su-ho stood out to him like light in a dark room.

“You made it!” Su-ho said with a smile. He wasn’t expecting the quiet Si-eun to show up.

He expected him to flake and study in preparation.

But.. He was here. He meant his word.

He smiled, hesitating to clap a hand on Si-eun’s shoulder, leaning slightly closer to be heard over the loud rap music blasting through the walls.

“See? Not so bad, right?”

Si-eun raised an eyebrow, clearing his throat as his ears were practically going deaf from the bass of music.

“There are a lot of people here. I thought this was going to be a simple gathering.”

Su-ho laughed, shaking his head. Is this guy serious?

By the words of a “grad party”, was he seriously expecting to sit down and play Mario Kart? Si-eun is smart, but he needs to be a little smarter at reading the room.

“This is a simple gathering! You just gotta redefine ‘simple’.”

He then glanced over his shoulder, looking back at his friend with a snicker.

“Want me to stick with you or do you want to make a run for it already?”

Before Si-eun could respond no to his question, a voice yelled from across the room.

YO! SI-EUN’S ACTUALLY HERE?! NO WAY!

Hu-min came barreling towards them, a wild grin on his face as he finally ran to them.

His hair was a little messy from running around, speaking of hair— It was back to that stupid hot-sauce red color since none of the teachers could scold him for it being a “distraction”.

Jesus..

Typical Hu-min.

“Bro, I thought I’d have to drag you in here by myself!” Hu-min beamed, clapping him a little harder than necessary.

“Come on, we’re getting you a drink—non-alcholic if you want, I stocked up ‘cause you’re all… You know, you.”

Si-eun gave him a flat look, parting his lips as he exhaled through his nose.

“Thank you for the consideration. I’ll pass down on the noise.”

Hu-min grinned wider, clearly unfazed by the rejection.

He’ll seriously do anything to let this guy lighten up for once. “

”Yeah, yeah, you can hide with Su-ho. He’s been glued to the wall watching you anyway.”

“Baku,” Su-ho groaned, rolling his eyes. “You’re so loud!”

“Loud and right!” Hu-min laughed, already turning to yell at someone nearby the crowded kitchen.

“Jun-tae! Go-tak! Our boy Si-eun is here!”

Su-ho looked back at Si-eun, trying and failing to hide the slight brush growing into his cheeks.

He sighed, rubbing his face before meeting his eyes. “Ignore him.. He’s been running around like a loud monkey ever since the party started.”

As Su-ho moved to go stick around with Hu-min, Si-eun decided he wanted a break from the crowd.

He poured himself vodka into an empty cup by the countertop, making his way towards the corner of the living room.

The vodka inside barely moved as he hadn't taken a single dip. It wasn’t that he hated the taste.

He just.. Didn’t feel like drinking. Not with this amount of people. Not with so much noise happening at once.

Girls from the nearby school were laughing at something stupid Hu-min joked near the kitchen island, while Jun-tae was losing horribly at beer pong, cheering anyway as if he’d won.

Go-tak was leaning against the wall nearby the doorway, examining others to make sure no fights were going to happen.

Hu-min paid him some extra cash to escort out others for dragging their unnecessary beef in the house. Good vibes only, he insisted.

He was watching the chaos with the same resting bitch face he was born with, but at least Go-tak looked comfortable.

Si-eun on the other hand? He felt like a misplaced puzzle place.

He took a small dip of the drink once, staring down into the faint ripples of liquid.

The thumping music made the floor vibrate beneath his sneakers, but all of it..

The voices, laughter and shouting felt like a blur.

Someone bumped into him while passing by, apologizing with a quick “oops!” before disappearing into the large crowd.

He barely reacted, instead, he straightened his posture and moved past it.

He shifted closer to the wall, hoping it would make him less visible.

His gaze drifted across the room, seeing Su-ho laughing with a group of guys from his rival school in the living room.

Su-ho looked… In his element. Like this kind of energy came ever so naturally to him, even if he wasn’t as loud like Hu-min.

For a moment, Si-eun wondered what that felt like. Being so at ease.

Not caring what others thought. Talking to random people as if they were your friends, as if you’ve known them for years and beyond.

Hu-min’s voice cut through the room again, louder than the music for a second.

YO! WHO’S TRYING TO KARAOKE? JUN-TAE’S ABOUT TO BLESS US WITH HIS ANGELIC VOCALS!

The group roared with laughter as Jun-tae quickly shoved his arm with an embarrassed face.

The moment made Si-eun feel like he has been pushed further in his own head.

He then glanced down at his cup, thumb brushing through the rim.

He hadn’t realized how long he’s been standing there now.

He should leave.

This party isn’t built for people like him.

His grip tightened around the cup, now starting to look towards the front door.

He’s done what they asked. Show around and even stood around for a bit longer than he promised.

Now, there was no reason for him to stay any longer.

The thought of walking home alone in the quiet sounded much more pleasant than the noise.

Si-eun then set the cup down onto the nearest counter and took one step to the door. As he grabbed the knob–

“Si-eun-ah!”

The voice stopped him in his tracks.

Su-ho was jogging over, brushing past a few drunk people as he finally reached him before it was too late.

“You’re not leaving now, are you?” He asked, leaning slightly with hands braced over his knees as if he’d actually rushed over.

Si-eun paused as he stared at him, then cleared his dry throat before speaking. “I said I would attend for half an hour. That time is over.”

Su-ho straightened up to stare at him, giving him a look between amused and disbelief.

He’s not going to let Si-eun off the hook easily, not when he’s being so boring. If anything, Su-ho came purely to the party only because he wanted Si-eun to attend.

“Nope. Not happening. You’re coming with me. Hu-min’s setting up some stupid game and you’re invited.”

“Game?”

“Yeah. He’s bored. He’s been doing this, like… ‘seven minutes in heaven’ thing. Guest bedroom. Small group, chill. Not the entire party.”

Su-ho grinned, gently nudging Si-eun in the shoulder. “C’mon now, you can’t ditch now. You’d leave me alone with those maniacs?”

Si-eun blinked.

“... That game is illogical.”

“Pff, yeah, but so is half of the stuff we do. That’s the point, isn’t it?”

Si-eun’s face didn’t budge, still staring at him with that monotone face.

Su-ho sighed and stepped closer, lowering his voice so the persuasion would only be heard between the two.

“Don’t look so tense, Si-eun-ah,” he frowned. “I’ll be there too. I’m not letting you off the hook so easily. It’ll be fun, yeah?”

Si-eun opened his mouth, ready to argue.

Before he could reject the offer, Su-ho’s hand was already brushing over his wrist, lightly tugging him towards the hallway.

“Trust me, it’s going to be fine.”

The house was pretty big, but not some crazy mansion to get easily lost in.

Hu-min texted Su-ho a couple minutes ago where the guest bedroom was, making it easy to find the room.

As they made their way to the door, Su-ho gave Si-eun one last smile before opening the door.

The guest bedroom was far from quiet, but it was much different compared to the bass outside.

It almost felt like a whole new universe. Instead of random shouting, there was louder, that loud and chaotic energy that was contagious.

Si-eun hovered hesitantly near the doorway at first, his natural sharp gaze scanning over the room.

He wasn’t good at this. But, it was much better than being stuck in the corner of the living room with too many people near his space.

This was.. Tolerable.

There were maybe twelve people crammed into the space.

There were Hu-min’s friends from other schools and a couple of girls sitting cross-legged on the floor.

Then there was Go-tak leaning against the dresser like he owned it, and Jun-tae nervously hugging a pillow like it could possibly shield him from humiliation.

Would it truly shield him? Not really.

Su-ho nudged Si-eun in the shoulder as they completely walked in. Si-eun could live with this.

He could just sit down and pretend to be engaged with the conversation they are in.

At least it didn’t smell like the reek of alcohol and fruity vapes.

Ugh.

Disgusting.

Instead, it smelt like a clean Febreze. Su-ho noticed the slight shift in Si-eun’s posture leaning into something positive, earning a soft grin on his face.

“See? Not so bad, right? Way better than the jungle out there.”

Hu-min spotted them immediately, running over to give them a bear hug. The party has gotten even better with their presence in the room.

That’s the spirit he needed.

“YOOO! Look who’s decided to join us! Si-eun, my man!”

He backed away from the two, shaking Si-eun’s shoulder with pure joy. He was one big golden retriever.

If he was a dog, it would be wagging like crazy.

“You ready to witness some real entertainment?! We’re making this game real fuckin’ legendary!”

“... I doubt that’s possible, Si-eun muttered.

Even as he pretended to not enjoy himself, the lips twitched in what could almost be mistaken for a smile.

Si-eun rarely smiled with others. But, by the glow in his eyes, you could tell that he was very comfortable and starting to feel like himself.

This is what he needed.

This.

“Don’t listen to him,” Su-ho teased with a chuckle, wrapping an arm around his friend’s neck. “He’s just playing hard to impress. C’mon, let’s go sit down.”

The two sat next to each other, the familiar faces smiling with warmth, the vibes in the room much better than a simple hello.

“Yeah yeah yeah– Whatever you say, Su-bro. Now shut up and let me spin this bottle!”

Hu-min spun the beer bottle in the center, making everyone’s eyes glued on the bottle, their adrenaline rushing high in their veins as they wondered who would be the next victim.

“Okay! Next victims–uh, I mean.. Players– are..”

The bottle stopped on a guy from another school and one of the girls, who both mutually groaned as everyone started cheering.

God.. Bless their souls.

They shuffled into the closet as Hu-min dramatically counted down from ten like they were about to face a death match as he grabbed his phone to start the timer.

As soon as the door closed, the room erupted.

“OOOOHHH, GET IT, BRO!!”

“WE HEAR YOU KISSING IN THERE!!”

“IS THAT A HAND ON HER LEG?!”

Someone even made obnoxious high-pitched moans which made the entire room roam with laughter and make the two poor souls in the closet’s face grow pink with embarrassment.

Jun-tae’s face flushed up in second-hand embarrassment, clearly traumatized by the lewd sounds they were making.

“I think they’re just standing there in awkward silence…”

“BORINGGGGGGGG!!!” Hu-min got up and banged on the closet door with an obnoxious whine. “AT LEAST FAKE IT FOR THE DRAMA!”

Si-eun stayed still on the floor, quietly watching the chaotic scene unfold.

Normally, he’d hate this kind of stupid, but… This was different.

The air in the room was much lighter and warmer, rather unforced and welcome.

Nobody was trying to act tough or start shit.

Instead, it was just dumb jokes, loud laughter, and the kind of relaxed energy that didn’t make his chest tighten for once. This was nice.

Su-ho noticed him watching, leaning over slightly with a genuine smile. This made him happy, seeing Si-eun relax for once.

It was rare, but it still made his heart pause a beat seeing that soft expression on his face.

He hoped he’ll see him like that more often.

“See? This isn’t so bad,” he said. “Admit it–You’re enjoying yourself, even if you won’t admit it.”

Si-eun didn’t answer the playful jab, but he didn’t look away from him either.

It wasn’t a yes, but it also wasn’t a no.

Su-ho’s grin widened, already knowing the answer. He could just tell. He could read him like a book after all.

It made his day, knowing he cheered him up from whatever struggle he had going on earlier.

────୨ৎ──── time skip to half a hour

The bottle spun once again, creaking slightly against the polished, wooden floor as everyone leaned forward like their lives depended on it.

Finally.. It stopped moving, leaving it on the most innocent person in the room.

“OH SHIT–IT’S JUN-TAE AGAIN!!” Hu-min yelled out, pointing at him as if he were announcing a lottery winner. “MAN’S GONNA SET A RECORD TONIGHT!”

Jun-tae’s face instantly flushed crimson as everyone started to burst into laughter. “W-What?! It’s not my fault the damn bottle keeps spinning at me!”

“Go on, Romeo,” Su-ho teased, leaning back onto his hands with a lazy grin forming at his lips.

It’s much better said than done to just get in there, yet he clearly wasn’t aware.

“Cmon now, don’t keep your fans waiting.”

Even Si-eun cracked the smallest bit of a smile at Jun-tae’s panicked groan as he disappeared into the closet for another round of teasing and dramatic noises of someone yelling out “Oh yes, daddy!” to make them regret even going in this room.

“JUN-TAE! IF WE HEAR REAL KISSING, WE’LL CHARGE YOU FOR ENTERTAINMENT!” Hu-min yelled out, clapping his hands loudly to make them hear his statement.

The seven minutes felt fast, but not for the two not being able to say a word to each other without someone moaning obnoxiously.

Jun-tae wanted to get up and bury himself in Hu-min’s backyard from this.

The closet door opened again after the seven minutes passed, revealing a mortified Jun-tae and the other girl left traumatized.

The room erupted into laughter so loudly that even Go-tak, who was usually a rock, was shaking his head with a small snicker. “Alright, alright! Let’s go another round! If it lands on Jun-tae again. I swear to fucking God.”

The bottle was spun again, leaving the room quiet with suspense and thrill.

Then it slowed.

And slowed.

And it almost landed on Si-eun.

.. Fuck.

“OOHHHHHHHH–”

The room collectively shouted out, voices erupting in a chorus of “SIEUNNNNNN’S TURN!!” before the bottle inched past him at the last second.

Si-eun exhaled, the tight tension finally leaving his shoulders.

Anything but him locked in a closet with somebody, as well as the sounds of his friends mocking the scenario with sexual gestures.

Su-ho noticed the relief on his face, snickering as he nudged him playfully. “Dude, you look like you were about to plan an escape route.”

“I was,” Si-eun replied flatly, but there was a flicker of dry humor in his words. Guess he didn’t sound too offended.

“Don’t worry,” Su-ho said, leaning close for Si-eun to feel his warmth despite the chaos in the room.

He chuckled softly, giving him a small smirk. “If it lands on you, I’ll volunteer as a tribute. I’m a great closet buddy.”

Si-eun gave him a sharp side-eye, ears burning out of humiliation. Him? Su-ho?

Being locked in a closet for seven minutes? That’s a joke.

It’ll never happen, ever.

Not with him.

He sighed, shaking his head. “That is.. That is not reassuring,” he mumbled.

“Sure it is,” Su-ho teased, that shit-eating grin never escaping his face. “Better than Hu-min, right? He’d probably do a full TED talk there.”

Hu-min was oblivious to the sudden shift between Si-eun and Su-ho, already focused on bringing more chaos in the room.

“ALRIGHT, NEXT UP, WE NEED SOME DRAMA! SPIN LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!”

The room roared again as the bottle was spun again, but Si-eun’s mind was still stuck on Su-ho’s teasing words. Would that happen?

What are the odds?

Despite the minutes in the room, none of the two has been chosen to be in the closets.

Would their chances increase?

As the bottle spun in a circular motion, people were getting more and more ridiculous by the second, pounding the floor as others counted nonsense.

“DRAMAAA!”

“KISS! KISS! KISS!”

“MAKE IT COUNT!”

“MAKE OUT! MAKE OUT! HU-MIN FOR PRESIDENT!”

Si-eun rolled his eyes at the chaos, only half-watching.

Instead, he was replaying that moment of Su-ho giving him that stupid smirk, with the words “I’m a great closet buddy.”

What did that even mean? And.. Why did he say that?

What in the world is the meaning behind that?

Was it a joke? Was it serious?

Before he could keep thinking, the bottle slowed.

Then slower, moving past Hu-min, past the girl with bleached bangs.

Then.. it landed.

Right on Si-eun.

Before he could open his mouth to protest, roars of anything but calm already filled up the room.

“WOOOOO!!!”

“SI-EUN, MY MAN!”

“YOU’RE NOT ESCAPING THIS TIME!”

Si-eun’s body paused, staying frozen like a statue.

No. Anything but this.

Fuck this.

He’s not playing this stupid, childish game anymore.

“Nope, not happening,” he said immediately, already sitting up to head.

Hu-min let out an obnoxious whine and leaned forward, grabbing him by the shoulder. “WAIITTT!! You might get a hot girl!”

Before he could fully rise and exit out, it was too late.

As Hu-min was begging him to stay, his knee pressed against the bottle, tipping again by an inch..

Landing cleanly on Su-ho. The volume in the room? Oh, it quadrupled with, “NO WAYYYY!!!” “NAH BRO–” “THIS HAS TO BE A FANFICTION.” “SI-EUN AND SU-HO?!”

“That doesn’t count,” Si-eun muttered underneath his breath, glaring at Hu-min.

Hu-min was not backing down without a fight.

“SIT. YOUR. ASS. DOWN. The bottle has SPOKEN.”

“I– Hu-min– It’s not– You’re clearly drunk–”

Si-eun tried, but the rest of the room was already changing out “CLO-SET! CLO-SET! CLO-SET!”

Su-ho hadn’t moved in protest as he slouched lazily over where he sat.

He let out a yawn, stretching out his arms as he looked at Si-eun with a chuckle.

“You heard ‘em. The people have spoken.”

Si-eun shot him a glare. “You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?”

Su-ho chuckled, standing up and brushing off the nonexistent lint off his jeans. “A little bit. C’mon, it’s only seven minutes. The worst case scenario is that we sit in silence. Best case..”

He leaned forward, whispering in his ear as his evil smirk grew even more. “.. I get to bother you up close.”

Si-eun groaned, but even as he acted annoyed, the way his pulse spiked at that..

That wasn’t normal. He usually doesn’t get flustered over stuff like this.

Why is this happening?

He’s usually so stoic and reserved, but his heart was beating harder than a drum.

As he sat there, he considered his options. If he chickened out, he would have to deal with the numerous text messages in the group chat of everyone calling him a wuss.

If he gets it over with, they’ll finally prove the “Si-eun is a pussy” theory wrong and shut them up, as well as his phone not being spammed with messages at two in the morning.

So, Si-eun sucked in his courage and stood up from the floor, heading towards the closet without a word.

“Hold up! Wait for me!” Su-ho called out as he followed him into the closet.

The cheers grew louder as they made their way into the door. Si-eun gave Hu-min one last glare before entering inside.

Hu-min clapped dramatically, placing his hands onto the door with a wide smile.

“Look at ‘em. Two dudes. One destiny.”

Now, the door closed behind them with a final click, leaving them with darkness mixed with seven minutes that they’d never live down.

It was pitch black up until Si-eun felt the switch behind him, clicking it up to make the space visible.

The closet was cramped, too warm, and definitely not designed for two young adults and their unresolved tension of unspoken words.

Neither of them spoke, unsure what to start with.

Before Su-ho could open his mouth–

“OOOOHHHHH!!!!!”

“SEVEN MINUTES, BABY!!!”

“SU-HO, MAKE SURE YOU GOT PROTECTION!!!!!!!”

“WE’RE GONNA TIME YOU– MOAN FOR THE CAMERAS!!!!!!”

Si-eun’s entire face burned with embarrassment, looking away from him as he shook his head.

“Oh my god..” He muttered underneath his breath. He was expecting it, but he didn’t want it to actually happen.

“I’m going to murder him,” Su-ho scoffed. “I’m going to wait until he’s asleep and strangle him with his stupid party lights.”

“Not if I get to him first,” Si-eun replied. He peeked through the blinds, watching the chorus of exaggerated moans breaking out in the room.

He noticed they couldn’t see them, but he could see them.

Great. Just great.

He sighed sharply through his nose, facing Su-ho with a frown. “Are they.. Actually doing this?”

Su-ho didn’t answer right away, leaning slightly back against the wall of the closet.

His shoulder accidentally bumped against Si-eun’s for a second, shifting himself quickly with a sigh.

“They’ll stop in twenty minutes. They always burn out.”

Sure enough, the sounds started to die down, replaced with fits of drunk laughter and someone knocking over a drink.

Then, it got quiet, only hearing the muffled bass of speakers outside.

The silence was loud.

Too loud.

They weren’t going to stand there for seven minutes, staring at each other. So, Su-ho broke the awkward quiet.

“... You having fun?”

Si-eun gave him a look, squinting right at him.

Is he stupid? Is this his version, standing in a cramped space, being able to feel each other's breath on their skin?

“.. You mean at the party or in the closet?”

Su-ho chuckled nervously, realizing that the attempt of small talk came off dumber than it intentionally came across as. He replied back with, “Well, both.”

Hopefully, that’ll replace the uncomfortable tension in the room with something welcome.

Si-eun shook his head.

“Both.”

… Awkward.

“... You always talk this much in a closet?”

That earned a tiny laugh out of Su-ho, the playful jab starting to move from awkwardness to playfulness.

It was small, but it was starting to make its way to make them forget they were inside of Hu-min’s closet.

“Well, I’ve never done it before.”

“No, really?” Si-eun asked sarcastically, rolling his eyes.

“You sound shocked,” Su-ho teased, playfully nudging him in the arm.

“I was being sarcastic. But, I am a little,” He admitted, his voice dropping a little.

He expected him to be more outgoing, considering how people admire him.

He’d expect him to have that naturally found confidence in a scenario like this. The truth was?

He was just as nervous.

Si-eun paused, looking down at the floor then meeting his eyes. “People like you usually get dared into this kind of thing all the time.”

“People like me?” Su-ho asked as he cocked a brow. That was new. Being told that.

“You know..” Si-eun paused, considering his next words in an attempt to not offend Su-ho.

He was an honest person, but he preferred to come more sensitive with Su-ho.

He’s his best friend after all. So, he chose his next words carefully. “Just.. You’re stupidly tall, weirdly charming, and handsome.”

Su-ho snorted, not taking offense to what he had just said.

In fact, it boosted his ego a notch. Si-eun was brutally honest and didn't sugargoat stuff to make people feel better than themselves.

So if Si-eun was saying this, he wasn’t lying, he was being honest.

It made Su-ho smile a bit, wanting to make sure he wasn’t saying it just to not make the tension awkward.

“Really? That’s how you see me?”

“.. Unfortunately.”

There was another moment of silence.

It wasn’t that tense silence, instead, it was that suspended quietness that filled the closet with mutual respect and a newfound connection between the two.

Su-ho never knew being locked inside a closet would cause their bond to grow more, to make him feel stupid goosebumps in his arms.

He spoke again, moving his foot an inch closer, making their skin slightly bump against each other.

“.. Y’know you don’t have to be nervous, by the way.”

Si-eun frowned slightly.

He was a bit nervous, not being used to being in a tight space and Su-ho standing close right in front of him.

He’d never admit that, so he looked into his eyes, hoping the small tremor in his voice won’t call him out.

“I’m not nervous,” he lied.

“You keep shifting like you’re in a dentist chair.”

“... It’s tight here.”

“That’s not the only reason,” Su-ho corrected. He wasn’t trying to push Si-eun into admitting it, he was only observing the obvious.

They didn’t speak after that, only staring at the floor and walls surrounding them.

God.. Su-ho didn’t want to waste a moment like this all over again, going back to where they started.

So, he switched the conversation with small talk. “So.. You applied to SNU, right?”

Si-eun blinked, puzzled by the sudden question.

Su-ho never really spoke about college or school, what was this about? Why is he bringing this up so randomly?

“How’d you know that?” He asked, cocking a brow as he met his gaze.

“You mentioned it once,” Su-ho shrugged, shifting the awkwardness with a grin. “In like, March? It was when we were on the roof and you were yelling at Go-tak for drinking Monster at nine in the morning.”

Good save, Su-ho. Good save.

Si-eun huffed. “That doesn’t sound like something I’d bring up.”

“It was in passing,” Su-ho corrected. “But I remembered.”

That.. Caught Si-eun a little off guard.

“.. Oh.”

Dumbass.

They stood it in again.

But this time, it wasn’t the awkward kind of silence all over again.

It was soft this time, a little warmer, not making their skin glisten with sweat from their nerves.

They were unaware of how many minutes they had left, but they knew it was slowly coming to an end.

Su-ho leaned back, trying to get comfortable again, his knee bumping against Si-eun’s mid-process.

Si-eun didn’t bring it up at first, but Su-ho didn’t shift back, clearly not reading the room properly.

Then, his shoulder brushed against Si-eun’s again, the moment lingering a second much too long.

“You’re getting too close,” Si-eun said. His tone wasn’t harsh or cruel, just an observation.

It was a small touch, but he didn’t like the fact it made his heart keep an extra beat.

Su-ho froze in his tracks, his chest tightening hard underneath his hoodie. His eyes slightly opened, face flushing like a tomato.

“What?–No I’m not. This closet, it’s just.. It’s–It’s just small.”

“It’s not that small,” Si-eun replied, turning his head just slightly to avoid his eyes.

He could feel goosebumps racing through his arms, fingers fidgeting nervously with the hem of his pants.

He never got flushed. Ever.

Su-ho never made him feel so shy and submissive, but the way he was looking at him..

It looked like he wanted to eat him alive.

He parted his lips, letting out a deep breath before speaking. “You’re doing that thing where you forget your personal space.”

“... I’m literally just standing here.”

“Standing on top of me.”

Su-ho paused, parting his lips.

Si-eun was quite correct with the way their chests were close from bumping, feeling each other's air on their skin.

The call out made Su-ho more flustered than ever, exhaling through his nose.

“Dude.. You’re being dramatic,” He muttered under his breath, wiping his face in hopes it’ll erase the embarrassed features drawn across his face.

“Right,” Si-eun said, clearly not buying his bullshit.

Su-ho blinked, then blinked again.

There was no way he was saying this.

Si-eun–The Yeon Si-eun, the quiet and studious one, telling him to kiss him.

This wasn’t real. This had to be some weird dream planted inside of his head.

It’s not real. This isn’t real. It’s fake!

He gulped, staring deep into Si-eun’s eyes to search for any form of denial.

All he could find was acceptance, the same amount of hunger he had in his body.

He nearly choked on his saliva, slightly backing up with wide eyes.

No fucking way. This was real life. He.. wanted him to kiss him.

Su-ho quickly panicked, unsure if this was sarcasm or not.

“Wh–What? What did you say?!”

Si-eun slowly moved forward to him, slightly invading his personal space.

He could feel his breath on him, the sweaty palms of Su-ho’s resting nervously by his sides.

Si-eun quietly hummed to himself, brushing Su-ho's hair behind his ear.

“I’m serious, hyung.”

“Okay–Well–I’m not trying to kiss you,” Su-ho said quickly, waving a hand between them.

He was still in disbelief, Si-eun being all cocky and bold, making him feel things he’s never felt.

Su-ho could feel his heart beat faster and faster, blood rising down to another part of his body that he’s never felt with him.

“That’s not–I didn’t come in here with, like, an agenda or anything.”

“Mm,” Si-eun hummed again, resting his hand towards Su-ho’s knee, giving it a firm squeeze.

The sudden action made Su-ho gasp, feeling himself harden underneath his pants.

“Then why’s your leg touching mine, huh?”

Su-ho flushed, wanting to push Si-eun away and tell him that this isn’t a good idea, but he couldn’t.

He couldn’t waste the moment, not when Si-eun stared at him with a delicious amount of need.

His face blushed more, shaking his head. “No, it’s just–It’s not intentional, okay? This is a tight space!”

“Sure,” Si-eun flatly said, completely unconvinced with the obvious lie. “Last chance.”

Su-ho swallowed, shoulders tensing further as his breath started to hitch.

He was never the nervous one, far from it.

He would’ve assumed Si-eun would be the flustered one, but it seemed he was the one who seemed afraid.

“You’re just.. You’re just saying all of that because you think I won’t.”

“No,” Si-eun said, raising his hand placed onto Su-ho’s knee, dragging it to his chest. “I’m saying that because I know you will, and I’m giving you the opportunity before someone opens the door and ruins it.”

That shut up Su-ho for a second. Si-eun had a fair, fair point.

The second that timer was over, there was no chance to kiss him ever again. It was now or never.

He looked down at Si-eun’s hand that rested on his shirt, then looked back to make sure he was being serious about this.

“Are.. are you sure?” He asked softly.

Si-eun nodded, slowly pulling Su-ho’s chin to face him. “Yes, I’m sure. I wouldn’t tell you this if I wasn’t.”

For a moment, Su-ho hesitated, unsure what to do.

Finally, he sucked in his courage, leaning forward to him.

His arms wrapped around Si-eun’s neck, breathing softly as he gently crashed their lips together, holding him close in his arms as if he was afraid to let go.

The kiss.. Well..

The kiss was awkward.

As their lips were moving against each other, one of them moved the other way, causing their noses to bump.

Su-ho then nearly missed his lips, causing Si-eun to subtly adjust him with a small, unimpressed noise, making Su-ho overthink it and froze too fast.

They pulled back with a sigh, barely half a second between them.

They stood in front of each other, unsure what to say next.

Finally, Su-ho broke the silence with an embarrassed murmur. “... That was bad.”

“Try again,” Si-eun insisted.

He was many things, but he is one to never give up on something so easily.

He’ll go on forever to make sure the kiss was perfect, even if the seven minutes has already passed.

So, he did.

This time it was slower, more confident. It didn’t feel like a dare or a drunken prank orchestrated by their idiot friends at this moment.

It was warm, the kind of kiss that sent something buzzing behind Si-eun’s ribs.

It was the kind that made Su-ho’s hands hover over Si-eun’s sides like he wanted to touch him, but he was too afraid that’ll scare him off.

But, it was only ruined when Hu-min yelled out, “THREE MINUTES LEFT! DON’T DO ANYTHING THAT I WOULDN’T DO!!”, unmistakable and obnoxious as ever.

They both blinked, letting out an annoyed groan as they pulled apart. Their breathing was a little too fast, neither of them speaking a word.

Su-ho was still slightly dazed from the makeout session they had earlier, exhaling out a soft laugh.

“God.. He’s such a coward.”

Si-eun glanced at him, caught off guard by the sudden comment. “Huh? What?” He asked, his face puzzled with confusion.

Why is Su-ho acting so bold as if he was batshit afraid to kiss him earlier?

“That line–’don’t do anything he wouldn’t do’?” Su-ho smirked, moving an inch closer towards him, resting a hand on Si-eun’s shoulder before giving it a firm squeeze.

“He wouldn’t do anything in here. He’d probably spend the whole seven minutes talking about protein powder and moral boundaries.”

That made Si-eun softly chuckle, forming a genuine, rare smile that always pulled Su-ho’s heart every single time.

He gave him a mildly amused look, the smile starting to creep just a little. “You’re calling Hu-min soft?”

“I’m saying he wouldn’t have the balls to try anything remotely freaky in a coat closet,” Su-ho now leaning a little closer again, this time more deliberate with his actions.

His voice that spoke earlier was casual and teasing, but there was something behind it, almost a challenge.

“You’re saying you would?” Si-eun asked, trying to measure the waters.

Su-ho paused.

That grin flickered into something more thoughtful, more in control as the newfound confidence started to grow further into his veins.

“I’m saying I already did something he wouldn’t have.”

He then leaned closer, testing to see if Si-eun would back away or reject the hint.

But, Si-eun didn’t move away.

If anything, he stood without fear, staring deep into Su-ho’s eyes, seeing if he meant his word or not.

“... So? Gonna prove it?” Si-eun asked.

Su-ho raised an eyebrow, slightly caught off guard by the sudden question. “You want me to?”

Si-eun slightly titled his head, completely unphased by Su-ho’s attempt to test the waters and put himself in as the dominant one in this type of situation.

It was cute, almost.

The earlier, rough tension was gone, replaced by something steadier. “I said, last chance. I didn’t say only chance.”

Su-ho didn’t wait, not wasting a single second.

He kissed him again, deeper and confident this time.

The sudden intrusion made a soft noise out of Si-eun before he could stop it, an arm immediately moving to wrap around his neck, holding onto him for support.

Su-ho’s hand glided his waist upwards, giving it a firm squeeze to send shivers down his spine.

His hand then found Si-eun’s jaw, his movements careful at first as his thumb brushed lightly on the skin.

The grab turned firmer, guiding him into it like he has been waiting for this.

Truth was, he has been waiting for this, waiting for the moment to feel his sweet lips against his own.

Si-eun wanted it just as bad, letting him take control of the kiss. He leaned into him, fingers catching at the fabric of Su-ho’s shirt near his waist.

It quickly turned messy, lips now being replaced with tongue and teeth.

The desperation in Si-eun’s movements made Su-ho’s pulse spike and thoughts blur, slamming him against the closet wall.

Si-eun surprisingly didn’t hold back, hands quickly darting to Su-ho’s black locks of hair, gripping tightly as he let out a soft moan against his lips, melting into the rough kiss.

It was quiet inside the closet, except the sounds of grunts, pants, and faint scuff of feet shifting against the wooden floor.

Su-ho pulled back just a little, breathing unsteady now, needing a break to catch up with the lock of oxygen by the kiss. “We’ve got like.. Two minutes left,” he murmured.

Si-eun didn’t hesitate, caring less for the potential risk of Hu-min busting open the closet door, causing everyone to see the two practically on top of each other.

Oh well. Let them watch.

He hummed quietly, looking down at Su-ho’s growing erection, then meeting his eyes.

“Then don’t waste them,” he said.

Su-ho blushed from the sudden boldness, but nodded.

His hand slid lower from Si-eun’s jaw, then down his neck, then to the hem of shirt.

He paused, the now steady hand starting to tremble from nerves, unsure whether or not if Si-eun wanted the lust just as bad as he did.

He hesitated, watching Si-eun’s face carefully as if he was a fragile doll. He was standing there nervously, waiting for something, any form of hesitation, but there was none.

Si-eun’s hand reached to Su-ho’s hand that was pressed against his shirt, covering it with his palm.

“Su-ho, it’s fine,” Si-eun reassured.

Su-ho swallowed hard, the words of encouragement doubting him. But, he then remembered what he said, “then don’t waste them”, the minutes.

If he hesitated for another second, he would never get the chance to recreate a beautiful moment like this.

His eyes flickered to where Si-eun’s hand pressed over his, then met his gaze, the gaze being filled with heat and love all at once.

He slipped his hand underneath the hem of Si-eun’s shirt, fingerprints grazing over the warm skin.

The breath that hitched in Si-eun’s throat didn’t go unnoticed, growing Su-ho’s confidence and becoming more deliberate in his movements.

Su-ho let his hand glide upward slowly, feeling every switch beneath his palm. The warmth of his palm was rougher than expected, calloused from fights and summer jobs.

But, his touch was gentle, almost reverent as he saw Si-eun as the most precious thing in his whole world.

Su-ho splayed his hand over Si-eun’s ribs and leaned in, kissing him again deeper as if he was tasting him, as an attempt to feel each flesh in the insides of his velvety caverns.

Si-eun quickly melted against his lips, body pliant and responsive as a hand tangled into Su-ho’s hair, the other grabbing at his hip to pull him closer as if their bodies could be merged into one.

Their hips brushed, causing their erections to rub against each other through their pants.

A breathless, sweet moan escaped Si-eun’s lips before he could stop it, making Su-ho nearly lose it at the precious thought.

“Fuck.. You’re so warm,” Su-ho grunted out against his mouth, voice laced between lust and need.

“Then get closer,” Si-eun said back, grabbing harder against his locks of hair.

Si-eun didn’t have to say it twice. Su-ho’s hand dipped lower now, trailing the curve of Si-eun’s waist to his lower back, pressing their bodies flush together.

Si-eun’s breath hitched again, hips instinctively rolling forward, making the two gasp out in pleasure.

They needed more of this, needed more than the bump and grind against each others clothes.

Their mouths crashed once again, tongues meeting in a mess of heat and want, turning more and more desperate.

Su-ho’s hand slid up Si-eun’s spine under his shirt, dragging his nails lightly down, moving towards where he wanted him.

His fingers toyed with the waistband of Si-eun’s sweatpants.

He wanted to pull them down, to see the most vulnerable parts of him.

But, he paused, needing the go if Si-eun was okay with moving to second base.

“You okay?” He breathed out, his voice barely audible through the haze of lust clouding their heads.

Si-eun nodded, biting down at his lip as he guided his hand closer to the hem of his waistband.

“I need it.”

Those sweet, beautiful words were all that Su-ho needed.

His hand dipped under the waistband slowly, pulling them down till they rested snug against his ankles.

Si-eun gasped against his neck, head tipping back slightly to give Su-ho room to kiss along his jaw, then down to the column of his throat.

He mouthed at the skin there, sucking hard enough to leave a mark.

Si-eun shivered, hips stuttering forward. He has never had someone suck there, making him gasp and pant out in want.

Si-eun’s neck was sensitive, a simple touch causing all the hormones gushing down between his legs.

Su-ho noticed this, a smirk forming through the corner of his mouth as he attacked on his neck again.

The sudden attack made Si-eun gasp out, a high-pitched whimper slipping out once again.

He bit down on his shoulder, leaving a beautiful, dark mark of possession.

Si-eun belonged to him, he was his and his only now.

Su-ho’s hand then moved lower, trailing through his stomach, to his happy trail, finding right where he wanted him.

His hand then moved underneath Si-eun’s black boxers, touching him properly, fist tight clenching around his throbbing length.

The grab made Si-eun let out a strangle noise, half-moan, half-whimper, fingers gripping Su-ho’s shoulders so tight to the point his knuckles grew white.

Su-ho’s rhythm was slow at first, teasing him to watch more of those beautiful expressions of Si-eun in pleasure.

The sight was too ethereal, the way Si-eun’s jaw was slack and breath ragged made Su-ho feel like he was too precious to even be looked at, as if he didn't deserve this.

“You’re.. So fucking beautiful like this,” Su-ho muttered underneath his breath, his movements growing faster to earn more of his beautiful Si-eun in pleasure.

Si-eun let out a shaky laugh through a moan, eyes fluttering open with a small smile. “Shut up and keep going.”

The smile of his made Su-ho grow more dedicated, movements growing rougher as his hand squeezed tighter around his aching cock.

Si-eun could barely keep quiet now, head falling back to muffle the needy sounds against Su-ho’s shoulder, body trembling under his bold touch.

The lustful moment was cut only by the faint sound of a timer buzzing somewhere in the distance, their seven minutes nearly running up.

Despite the warning, neither one of them moved. Su-ho didn’t stop. Not yet. Not until he gave Si-eun what came into that closet craving.

And Si-eun? Si-eun let go, completely falling apart in Su-ho’s arms with a muffled cry and soft gasp of his name.

Upon hearing that sound, Su-ho quickly pulled down Si-eun’s boxers, needing more of his skin.

The cool air of the closet hit him at once, making him feel more vulnerable and exposed at once.

But, he didn’t hide, letting the man in front of him see each part of his body. His cock was throbbing, tip glistening with a significant amount of pre-cum.

“You’re.. You’re beautiful,” Su-ho mumbled under his breath, voice filled with admiration towards Si-eun who was half-naked.

His hands fumbled through his zipper, pulling his jeans down to his ankles, dropping along with his boxers.

His cock was just as hard as Si-eun’s, needing to feel just as much pleasure as Si-eun felt.

Truth was, if there was enough time, Su-ho would have bent over the other man and pound into him relentlessly.

Considering the time, he had to play his cards right in order to not get caught, meeting with permanent humiliation.

So, he leaned forward, pressing himself close until their tips touched each other.

His hand wrapped around both of their lengths, stroking them in a slow, teasing pace.

“Fuck, you’re driving me crazy,” Su-ho panted out, lips brushing against Si-eun’s jaw now.

“I can feel you through everything. Si-eun gasped softly, fingers curling in Su-ho’s hair as he rutted against him with pure need.

“Then stop thinking,” Si-eun panted out, biting back a whine. “Do something about it then. Take what you want while you can.

And Su-ho did, moving his hand up and down with firmer pressure now, dragging a moan out of both of them.

Their foreheads touched, breath mingling in sharp, fast exhales as they started to rut against each other like two dogs in heat.

Si-eun grabbed the back of Su-ho’s neck now, grounding himself as he rolled his hips again with a feverish pace.

They both needed this–needed each other, for their bodies to be combined as one.

They knew they wanted each other, getting exactly what they wanted.

The pressure of Su-ho’s loved one made him hiss through his curse, making his knees slightly buck from the sensitivity.

“Fuck–” he breathed out between his gritted teeth, stroking his hand faster.

“Don’t stop,” Si-eun gasped out, almost pleading with the amount of desperation in his voice, practically begging him. “Just– Don’t stop.”

They fell into the rough and messy rhythm, making the air in the room feel much too hot and tight.

Su-ho couldn’t think or breathe, only focusing on the way Si-eun felt against him, the way he was grinding so hard, chasing relief like it was life or death made his knees buckle, nearly coming at the sight of seeing Si-eun need him.

“Feel good?” Su-ho asked, his voice hoarse from panting so heavily.

Si-eun let out a strangle that was answered enough, better than a yes.

Their chests rubbed against each other with each movement, noses brushing, lips parting but too breathless to kiss again.

It was almost too much, driving each other insane with the feeling of each other's cocks weighted against another, the feeling of their hands grabbing practically anywhere to support.

Outside, they could hear people shouting, someone laughing way too close to the door.

The risk of being caught should’ve stopped them, to stop what they are doing and quickly pull their pants back up.

But, it only made Si-eun grind harder, almost wanting to hear the scene unfold behind the door.

“You’re insane,” Su-ho choked out, pressing his forehead to Si-eun’s, wrist moving faster as his thumb rubbed across their sticky tips that drooled with pre-cum.

“You like it,” Si-eun said too cockily.

Before he could attempt to flip the tables, he gasped, as he squeezed hard around them, forcing a high-pitched whine out of him.

He quickly learned his place, staying still for him. Si-eun was now trembling, holding onto Su-ho like he’d fall apart if he let go.

He was biting down on his lip hard enough to the extent it could bleed, trying to be quiet but failing miserably.

Su-ho leaned in, lips brushing the shell of Si-eun’s ear as he spoke. “You close?”

Si-eun nodded quickly, hands digging Su-ho’s biceps now, fingers clawing through the fabric of his hoodie.

“I–I can’t–too much–”

“Shh. I got you.”

Su-ho ground against him harder now, in time with Si-eun’s uneven breath as his thumb began to trace lines across through the veins of their length.

His hand traced each inch and girth of each other, wanting to get his friend closer to the edge before it was too late.

He didn’t care if Si-eun moaned so loud that someone would hear, he needed to watch Si-eun come undone.

“Come with me,” Su-ho whispered softly against his cheek.

Si-eun let out a sharp, broken moan as he shuddered, legs buckling slightly as the pleasure overwhelmed him.

His hips bucked forward once more before he buried his face in Su-ho’s shoulder, moaning wantonly into the fabric as his cock painted his palm white, load after load of ropes staining his hand.

Si-eun felt so vulnerable, so exposed moaning like this in front of him.

He couldn’t care anymore, not when Su-ho got him, showing him love and affection.

Su-ho followed seconds later, chest heaving as his cock finally gave up on him, busting out a load of ropes of his seed onto both of their cocks, leaving a trail of a mess.

His entire body went stiff, grunting Si-eun’s name underneath his breath as he came.

He’s never come this hard before, not when he felt this beautiful man come on him, hearing those pretty little sounds of his.

This was better than porn, better than pretending his friend was coming for him in his head.

The real package was much better.

For a while, everything was silent other than the ragged breaths and sighs.

Until–

BANG BANG BANG.

“HEY! Time's UP in there! Get your asses out!”

Su-ho groaned quietly and dropped his head to Si-eun’s shoulder, not wanting to leave like this.

Not when they came together, sharing such a sacred act.

“... We’re so disgusting,” Su-ho chuckled softly through his heavy breathing.

Si-eun was still catching his breath, voice muffled against Su-ho’s collarbone as he mumbled, “If I go first, they’re going to know.”

“.. I think they already do.”

They stared like that for a moment longer. Standing with a sticky hand, flushed faces, and hearts still pounding.

Su-ho finally laughed softly, pulling back just enough to fix Si-eun’s shriveled hair with his free hand, running his fingernails through it with more tenderness than the moment should allow.

Si-eun looked up at him, cheeks burning out of embarrassment.

He hated to say it, but he loved this domestic moment of Su-ho being so loving.

They stood there for a while, hearts pounding in sync, the muffled noise of the party leaking back in through the door like it was miles away.

For a second, they forgot that they were in Hu-min’s closet, yet alone in his house.

Si-eun peeked down at the state of their clothes, letting out a sigh. “... This is bad.”

Su-ho followed, wincing at the sight.

Shit.”

They both stared at the undeniable mess they were in. Literally.

Su-ho’s hand was filled with come, their dicks coated in each other's essence as well as the ropes of his sperm that happened to drip onto their inner thighs.

They paused, unsure what to do or say during this moment.

Then, the intelligent Si-eun looked to look at the cluttered top shelf behind them. “Think there’s anything in here that could help?”

Su-ho paused, then moved to dig blindly through the shelf.

He pulled out… an old hoodie, half-empty tissue box, pack of cards, a sock that looked questionably cursed, and–

“Okay. Jackpot,” he said, holding up the filled up tissue box proudly.

Si-eun blinked, shaking his head, clearly fed up despite the intense moment, Su-ho knew how to act like a child.

“This is the least romantic cleanup ever,” he mumbled under his breath.

The other man crouched down to clean up Si-eun’s thighs and softening erection, movements sheepish but that never ending smirk slipping away from his now overconfident face.

“Shut up, you’re still the one that said ‘then don’t waste them’”.

“I was being cool,” Si-eun scoffed. “You were the one who slammed me into the wall like it was a dramatic movie scene.”

Even as he teased him, he loved this moment, the soft moment of being basketed in the afterglow.

It was nice, seeing Su-ho being so caring towards him.

“I blacked out,” Su-ho mumbled, squatting back up as he cleaned his own mess with the tissue. “You’re just being outright mean now.”

They both laughed under their breath, trying not to draw attention to the fact they haven’t moved, not really.

They were still standing chest to chest in an overheated closet, legs tangled, cheeks pink, completely in their own little world.

This was going to be an unforgettable moment for the two of them, seeing how satisfied and complete they looked after their rough encounter not too long ago.

Si-eun’s eyes moved to meet him, looking at him, really looking.

Not the face he gave him when he said something, but something.. Soft.

Su-ho’s face shifted slightly, the proud smile fading to looking like a sad puppy.

“You okay?” He asked, voice less teasing now.

He didn’t like to see people upset, especially Su-ho.

Su-ho slowly nodded. “Yeah. Just…” His throat felt tight all of a sudden, pausing mid-sentence.

It wasn’t scared-tight, just.. It all felt real.

Everything had happened so fast, the kiss, the heat, the way Si-eun had looked at him like he already knew he wanted him.

It was almost too much, like this was a silly little dream. This was real. None of these were those little scenarios in his head, there was real life.

Finally, Su-ho broke the silence. He sighed softly, his gaze becoming more delicate. “.. I meant it.”

Si-eun tilted his head, unsure what he meant by that. “Meant what?” He asked.

Su-ho swallowed, his throat becoming a little horse as he spoke, speaking nervously despite the fact they weren’t exploring each other's bodies not too long ago.

“That I’ve been waiting to kiss you. Waiting for this. I didn't think I’d actually… get to have you like this.”

Si-eun didn't stare at him with judgement, only staying silent to give him the respect needed to talk.

He didn’t want to ask questions, he’ll explain the depth of his meaning as he continued to speak.

“I thought maybe you were just being nice to make me feel good about myself,” Su-ho admitted. “That.. You’d pull away after. Or regret it. Or be disgusted at me.”

There was a moment of silence, but their eyes never left each other, not a flicker of hesitation or repulsiveness.

They knew that this wasn’t just a simple hookup, this was something more than that.

After a minute, Si-eun reached forward, touching Su-ho’s cheek as his thumb brushed gently across his soft skin.

“I would never regret you.”

The words hit harder than any kiss did, than any look of a stare caught too long or unspoken words that were meant to be said.

Su-ho leaned into the touch instinctively, breath stuttering a little as he sighed.

Before it could stop, before he could take back his words, he asked:

“Do you wanna be my boyfriend?”

Si-eun blinked once, then twice.

Did he mean that?

Was this one of his stupid jokes or pranks?

He stared at him, making sure that he wasn’t pulling any funny shit.

Instead, his eyes were soft, almost a plea for him to accept his feelings.

The younger man laughed, not a teasing laugh, not a “you’re ridiculous" laugh, but the kind of warm laugh that made Su-ho feel like his chest could melt through his hoodie.

“I thought you’d never ask.”

Su-ho flushed immediately, trying to cover his face with his sleeves.

Before he could cover himself, Si-eun pulled him in by the string of his hoodie, kissing him again.

It wasn’t rushed, wasn’t awkward, wasn’t heated, but slow this time. Something tender. Something sweet.

Nothing was desperate, only being met by the feeling of connection between love and affection.

Before they could pull back and smile at each other, someone banged loudly on the door from the outside.

“HELLO?! ARE YOU DEAD IN THERE?”

They both groaned. Great. Hu-min didn’t forget.

“Okay,” Su-ho said to himself. He took off his hoodie, handing it to Si-eun. Thank God he had that tee underneath him.

“Put this hoodie on since your shirt got a little stained. I’ll open the door. We make no eye contact and act like nothing happened.”

Si-eun scoffed, rolling his eyes. “You better pull some good excuses for our absence.”

Su-ho grinned at that, wide and happy, completely unphased by the potential risk of others aware of what just went down there.

“We’ll be fine. You’re not getting rid of me that easily.”

The door creaked open slowly. Si-eun stood half-shielded behind Su-ho, wearing an oversized, unfamiliar hoodie with a poker face.

Su-ho, on the other hand, stepped out with his usual unreadable expression, casually rolling his shoulders like he’d just finished a nap.

Every head in the guest room turned toward them.

Jun-tae’s mouth hung open.

Go-tak looked like he was about to burst into laughter but held it back out of hear.

Yeong-i blinked once, then twice, trying to decide if she imagined the moan she definitely heard earlier.

And Hu-min.

God. Hu-min.

Hu-min stood in the center of the room like a show host, arms spread wide.

Fucking hell.

“SO,” Hu-min spoke loudly, grinning ear to ear. “How was Jesus?”

Si-eun didn’t blink. He walked past him without a word, settling back onto the floor and casually pulled out his phone as if he hadn’t come out in Su-ho’s hoodie.

Su-ho, on the other hand, raised his brows, playing the part way too seriously.

“Oh, you mean us taking a while in there? We were just hanging out, having some deep talk about life. Just guy stuff, you know?

“Oh come on–” Hu-min whined, stepping closer. He was desperate to know the deets. “Then what was all that thumping?! The walls were doing morse code, dude. And the moan? You think we didn’t hear that–?”

“Si-eun sneezed,” Su-ho cut in calmly.

There was a beat of silence, everyone staring at them. Really, dude?

“.. Sneezed?” Go-tak repeated, turning from his phone to give him that “really dude?” expression.

Su-ho nodded, still standing there with infuriating confidence as if people didn’t pass through his bullshit.

“It was dusty. Poor guy’s got allergies. Then we knocked over a box and hit the wall. I know, it sounded much worse than it was.”

“You knocked over a box,” Hu-min claimed, staring at them like they were fucking insane. “And.. Grunted.”

Su-ho nodded innocently, acting as he casually wasn’t jerking them off a few minutes ago.

“Yup. I did. I tried to catch it. Have you ever caught a box? Harder than it looks, man.”

“Right,” Jun-tae mumbled. “You accidentally caught his soul, too?”

Si-eun who had been scrolling aimlessly on his phone the whole time finally glanced up, trying to save him from embarrassment.

“You ever think maybe we just had a conversation?” He asked calmly.

“A conversation?” Hu-min gasped. “With tongue?!”

Si-eun gave him a flat look.

Hu-min whined, covering his face with his hands in disbelief.

God.. Were these dudes really getting freaky in his guest room closet?

Them, out of everyone?

“Come on! My child is gone! I raised him better than this. First my guest room, now my soul? You’re evil!”

Su-ho leaned against the bedframe with crossed arms, hiding his grin behind one hand.

“Baku. I hate to break it to you, but we’re adults.”

“You’re eighteen,” Hu-min snapped.

“Exactly. Grown,” Su-ho replied back with a smug snicker.

Hu-min sighed, grabbing a pillow and groaning into it.

Finally, everyone else gradually returned to their conversations.

However, the glances thrown at Su-ho and Si-eun didn’t exactly stop. Nobody could prove anything.

Not with Su-ho lying like a pro and Si-eun sitting like a cat who just knocked something off the counter, daring you to do something about it.

Si-eun finally nudged Su-ho’s foot gently, not looking up from his phone. “That was a solid lie,” he muttered.

Su-ho smiled, barely turning his head to face him. “I’ve been waiting years to kiss you. You think I’m letting Baku’s nosy ass ruin our moment?”

“… Boyfriend privileges unlocked,” Si-eun muttered back.

Su-ho bumped his knee against his again once again, earning an annoyed sigh from his new boyfriend.
