Luigi sighed as he saw his brother Mario being praised on TV, for rescuing Princess Peach yet again. All they ever talk about is Mario and how perfect he is. Lugi was a bit scared to admit that he was jealous of how many people praised and admired Mario,while Lugi had to stay in his shadow. Even though Lugi went on most of the same missions with Mario and also helped to save Princess Peach from King Bowser, everybody only gives Mario credit for saving Peach. Sure, Lugi could say he can be a bit cowardly at times, but that doesn't mean he can't be as brave as Mario at others.
Anyways, Lugi was getting ahead of himself, today he was supposed to go on a mission with Mario to the Koopa Kingdom to save Peach again. He didn’t feel like going. He didn’t even feel like he was needed for the mission, he wasn’t even gonna get acknowledged for doing it anyways, so why bother going?

Mario came back home when Luigi was eating breakfast.
“Hey ‘uigi! Are you ready to go over the plan to get Peach back?” Mario said as he grabbed a box of cereal from the cupboard.
“I don’t think I wanna come this time, Mario,” Luigi said sadly. “Why not, ‘uigi?! You always come with me!” Mario said with a shocked look on his face.
“I just don’t feel like I’m of much help on these sorts of missions..I’m too cowardly, and I’m not as strong as you..” luigi stated feeling dejected.
“What are you talking about ‘uigi?! You are no coward! Who told that?! And you are just as strong as me, fratello. Don’t ever put yourself down like that! Now you are gonna eat your breakfast and then we are gonna go on this mission and that is that!” Mario said.
“Thanks Mario,” Lugi said with a shy smile. “I suppose I’ll come with you on this mission,as always”

Over breakfast Mario and Lugi were talking about their plan to save Princess Peach.
“No! That is way too dangerous Mario, there is no way we can do that!” Lugi said.
“We have to do something like this in order to make it inside Bowser's castle! There is no way we can get in the way we did last time” Mario urged.
“There is no way I can pretend to be a Koopa for as long as it will take us to save Peach! I’m not that good of an actor!” Lugi said nervously.
“Well you’ll have to try, I need you with me ‘uigi” Mario said with a small smile.
“Ok..I’ll try. But don’t blame me when it all goes haywire.” Luigi said.

They had gotten a toad that was capable of making disguising potions,to make them some potions that could make them look like a koopa troopa for a few hours.
“I'm only helping you just this once Mario! This is the last time I help you with your shenanigans! Last time I got in trouble with the princess for helping you!” The potion toad said.
“I know, I know, thank you for helping us this last time. We are very appreciative. Right ‘uigi?” Luigi nodded in response to Marios question.
“Alright now, take the potion every 2 hours to keep the appearance of a koopa troopa. If you fail to do so, your original appearance will slowly come through until you are revealed.” The toad stateted.
“I have given you two enough of the potion to last a full 24 hours for each of you. I must remind you two. Be. Very. Careful. King Bowser is most dangerous.” The toad said with a serious look in his eyes.
“Now, off you go!” The toad said, shooing away the mario brothers.
“Thank you!!” Mario said over his shoulder as they were kicked out.

Mario and Lugi were getting ready to set off to the Koopa Kingdom.
“uigi! Make sure you pack enough of the koopa potion!” Mario called from the kitchen.
Luigi had made sure to bring all 12 of the small bottles of the potion. They each lasted 2 hours and he wanted to be extra careful he had enough when the time came, just in case it took longer than expected.
“Ok, you ready ‘uigi?” Mario asked. “Ready as I’ll ever be” Luigi sighed.
