Work Text:
“Alright, Cunningham,” Randy muttered under his breath, pacing inside the boys’ locker room. “Today’s the day you show off your Bruce skills.”
He was getting ready for his first day of practice. He was gonna blow those girls away!
He clutched his new majorette uniform shirt with passion and sweaty palms. Randy had been handed the uniform from Slimotviz the day earlier.
He said it was brand new even though it's just the band uniform but inside out. McFist may have helped rebuild the school after the whole stank bucky fiasco, but that didn’t mean he was shelling out for new uniforms. Man had a business to run.
“You seriously gonna go do this?” Howard said, leaning against the lockers with hands in his pockets.
“Yup I'm gonna show them who Randy Cunningham is!” the purple boy boasted putting his foot on the bench proudly.
“Those chicks are gonna be amazed by my rad skills and singin! Aww Randy your so cool! Ahh we love you!” He mocked in a high pitched voice.
“Anddd I doubt that.” The metalhead chuckled. “you can't get close to a girl without acting like a total shoob”
“Hey I can talk to girls you know!” Randy then paused for a moment. “Wait, don't you have math?” he said, raising an eyebrow.
The metal head only rolled his eyes. “Yeah but this is my bathroom break”
“I'm pretty sure it's been longer than five minutes”
“Five minutes ten minutes same thing” Howard shrugged.
Just then, a sharp creak echoed from the locker room door, followed by the most unimpressed sigh Randy had ever heard.
“Cunningham quit babbling and get your butt out here” Morgan demanded, she was covering her eyes.
“Don’t worry mom I’ll be right out!” Randy mocked, the shorter boy snorted his laughter.
“Is that..Weinerman in there?! Howard get out now. Or I’m reporting you for loitering.” She then slammed the door hard. Morgan usually doesn't ever raise her voice but this was practice. Majorette practiced, this was her life, and Randy's loud-mouthed bestie clearly violated it.
The laughter went silent, they both glanced at each other.
“You heard her” Howard sighed.
“Howard you don’t-“
“Nah, go on,” Howard muttered, stepping towards the door. “Before Morgan eats you alive. I’ll do algebra”
“We still on for lunch?”
“You know it”
They boys smiled at each other before Howard exited the locker room. “Don’t trip on your twirly stick.”
“I won’t!”
The purple boy was left alone to put on his shirt before the door swung open again
“And Cunningdork take a shower. You smell like fart”
“What?! I don’t—” He sniffed his armpit. “Oh..”
...Okay. Maybe she had a point.
“Shower. Now”
★
In the hallway Howard wasn’t in no rush to algebra. The class was so boring!
“Stupid math class I know everything already” he mumbled to himself. “Not like doing that work is important it won’t matter after high school-!”
YANK!
A hand shot out from a door and dragging him inside the Broadcast Room.
“HEY—! What the—?!”
Panicked, Howard on pure instinct bit the attacker’s hand
“OWW!” a familiar voice shrieked. “Howard! What’s wrong with you?!
“Wait…Heidi?!” The Lights suddenly flicked on.
“Who else?” His sister replied, still hugging her hand.
“Well sorry! I thought I was being KIDNAPPED!” He shouted.
“I don’t need a headache and infected hand…owww.. When did your teeth get so sharp?! I look like I got pecked by an AYC!”
“What?”
“Angry. Yellow. Crow.”
“Okay that one is just stupid!”
“Well whatever!” Heidi dug through the drawer and pulled out a crusty first aid kit. “Next time don’t bite people!”
“Next time don’t drag people into a room like some weirdo ” Howard shot back.
Heidi didn’t have the patience for this, especially with her finger throbbing. She unwrapped a Hello Kitty band-aid and slapped it on.
“Okay. Enough. I pulled you in here for a reason,” she said, snapping the kit shut.
“What is this time?”
“Nothing much..”
“Oh my god! What?”
“It’s nothing my sweet Dearest baby bro.”
“Okay then I’m out” He turned to leave.
“Wait wait! she said, blocking the door.
“What Heidi?” Howard said crossing his arms. “Spill or i'm gone”
“Ugh fine it’s about Morgan”
“Ew! What about her?”
“Don’t say eww” she mocked, the sighing happily in the air . “You know she’s the most bruciest, cheesiest, most beautiful girl in school!”
“And she hates everything and everyone Including you.”
“That’s what makes her a challenge!” Heidi declared, hands on her hips now.
“And you want me for???” He questioned, patience running.
“To keep an eye on her!”
“And how do you suppose I do that?.
“Well…you were larking around the gym.”
“Lurking!” He corrected “besides I wasn’t I was loitering. Difference, plus I was only there for Cunningham not her”
“But you were there”
“Your point” The smaller Weinerman raised his brow.
Heidi’s eyes sparkled dangerously.
“You’re close to Andy, and Andy is in majorette now, which means he’s close to her So…”
“Ignoring that you butchered my best friend name for the 100th time, “I’m not using my best friend for your parasocial relationship”
“It’s not parasocial! She’ll love me someday!”
“She’ll get a restraining order someday” he retorted
“C’mon, help your big sis out! You owe me!” She pointed in his face
“WHA- WHEN?!”
“When i gave you my allowance to buy butt punchers” the older wiener sibling shouted back.
“Grave punchers and I don’t remember saying that”
“Yes, you do.”
“Nope.” He folded his arms. “Total blank”
“HOWARD.” Heidi yanked her brother to her level, his feet off the ground . “Your reverse psy doesn’t work on me. I INVENTED IT!” She shook him
“Okay okay! I’ll help” He coughed “Just put me down”
Thud
“What’s in it for me?”
“Well…”

Inside the gym Randy sat nervously on the floor, fart smelled free. The girls was chatting to each other probably about girl stuff. Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea, it’s so weird being the only guy.
“It’s alright” A faint voice said next to him. Oh it’s Theresa “I know it’s scary but I’m sure you’ll fit in nicely Randy”
“Me scared pfft! Me scared who said I was scared?!” The boy said trying to hide his feelings.
“Your palm is sweaty” she pointed
“Oh that!” He quickly wiped his wet hand on his pants. “That’s from my steamy shower still got some water on my bod” he smiled confidently even though he was internally screaming.
“Steamy?” Her face turned red like a tulip, and she was drooling?
“Theresa you good-
TWEEEEET! “Line up, twirlers!” Where did that whistle come from? Wait is that Miss Wickwhacker? The male majorette couldn’t believe his eyes as she marched towards their group. The girls quickly formed into formation while he had to scramble in place.
“I see Randall made himself comfortable”
Was that a threat or something? Was he facing the wrong way? Oh.. his sash.It stuck out like a sore thumb hanging freely like it was like a cat tail. The girls around him snickered to themselves making fun of him while Theresa didn’t. (Not like he’ll notice)
First day here and they already think he’s a joke. So much for new friends.
“Majorettes are not just twirlers,” she barked. “You are athletes. Artists. Ambassadors of pep. And if you don’t want to be like Cunningham follow Morgan lead”
Morgan, standing confidently in the center of the gym, for once not on her phone. Her posture was perfect, her expression unreadable, and her signature whistle gleamed like a badge of honor around her neck.
“This isn’t a hobby,” she said flatly, baton resting on her shoulder like a sword. “This is a commitment. You want to twirl like a champ? Then act like one. Step up.”
The girls immediately followed suit, spreading out into formation without a word. Even the “Dancing Fish” Morgan’s loyal followers who mostly cared about well.. DANCING! Fell into place with unusually serious expressions. The usual giggling stopped. Silence settled like fog.
Randy stepped forward, unsure where to stand. Before he could ask, Morgan pointed her baton directly at him.
“You. Front and center.”
He blinked. “Wait, already? Shouldn’t I start in the back? Where the less twisty damage can happen?”
She didn’t even flinch. “Center. Now.”
Gulping, he jogged awkwardly to the front, almost tripping on someone’s baton.
“You’re going to do a bowtie, throw the baton and do three backflips. The last flip you do a handstand, splitting your legs while standing. Do a front flip and catch the baton ending with a split”
What the juice kind of practice routine was that?!
The girls exchanged glances. That was not beginner material.
“That’s kinda advanced,” Theresa said carefully, stepping forward. “Maybe he could start with something simpler?”
Morgan didn’t even look at her. “Is he on the team or not?”
“Well yeah, but”
“Then he does the drill.”
Randy scratched the back of his neck. “Can’t you show me a demonstration first?”
Miss Wickwacker chuckles “Cunningham I thought you said you were the cheese?”
“Uhh”
“I saw you do a backflip while a beam tried to crush your head. I'm positive that you don't need a demonstration”
He just had to be extra and do that infront of her last week.
He positioned himself front and center, grip tightening on the baton.
Miss Wickwacker scribbled something on her clipboard. “Alright Show us what you’ve got, Cunningham.”
Randy mumbled under his breath. “Now I wished I listened to the Nomicon”
Ready..GO!
Randy spun his baton over his fingers with grace, then place it behind his back for the throw.Okay it he had to this quickly. He leaped backwards and did three backflips with ease.
Morgan was shocked he could do that. And the other girls whispered.
“Who knew he could do that” Demi said.
“He's so Bruce” Theresa fawned
Big whoop everyone can do a backflip Morgan thought.
When he did his last back flip he stopped in the middle of it. He was doing a handstand! His legs did a perfect split.
“How is he doing that!” Audrey said in awe.
How is he doing that?! Morgan gawked
“Incredible” Miss Wickwacker scribbled on her clipboard.
Randy flipped forward and somehow ended with a perfect split. Catching the baton!
Randy’s body was so sore, his smile frozen in place, his legs absolutely regretting this decision. “Peace of cake”
The girls ran over to him in a crowd.
“How did you do that!” Nikki asked.
“Well it was easy” Randy chuckles, lying through his teeth.
“Randy that was so Bruce were you raised by ninjas?!” Demi questioned
“Uhhh no”
Theresa pushed the girl with the blue bandana over her head away.
“Hey!” Emma whined.
“Randy you were the cheese! I can't believe you did no one but Morgan ever finished that routine!” Theresa smiled, holding Randy's hands
"You're holding my hand” Randy whispered blushing incredibly hard.
Morgan meanwhile couldn’t believe her eyes. Her grip tightened around her baton. That was her move. Her routine. She’d spent weeks mastering it and this… this shoob just did it on his first try?!
Miss Wickwacker lifted her clipboard again. ”Looks like we have a prodigy,” she said, adjusting her whistle.
★
“She told me I was a prodigy Howard. Told you I was Bruce” he smugly smiled.
“Guess you proved me wrong Cunning ham” Howard replied eating what Is presumed to be a hamburger.
“Are you supposed to be eating that? Aren't you Jewish” The magenta hair boy pointed.
“Eh I'm unorthodox”
“You're still not supposed to”
“Cunningham it's school food it probably doesn't have real meat anyways” Howard rolled his eyes
“You got a point there”
“Anyways, how did you do those moves?”
“Uhh…the Internet” Randy shruged, he was half right and half lying he did learn parkour from videos.
Howard stared at his best friend intensely then shrugged. “Eh good enough for me”
Theresa walked over to the single pair, tray in hand, her voice bright
“Randy! Principal Slimotviz is coming to the gym after lunch to watch you perform!”
“Wait Really!” Randy exclaimed happily.
Theresa nodded. “Yeah! He wants to see your skills and he's coming along with trained professionals”
Randy was so happy until he pointed out “But what about my next class?”
“Don’t worry he got it covered your excused
“That is the cheese!”
“I know!” Theresa squeeled.
“Since he's my best friend I should have a pass” Howard glanced at the both of them.
Theresa gave him a sheepish look. “No majorettes only”
“WHAT?” Howard cried, almost dropping his burger.
“That’s anti-best friend behavior!”
“Sorry Principal's orders,” Theresa said with a shrug.
"Au contraire he can come”
Heidi strutted in out of literally nowhere, one hand on her hips and the other on her phone.
“My dear brother is going to be my cameraman”
Howard blinked, confused. “your what?”
Heidi slinged her arm around her brother’s shoulders. “You see my hands are getting tired of holding my phone and I need someone with strong arms to hold it for me”
Theresa nervously looked away, not knowing what to say.
“Don’t worry, Theasy feasy,” Heidi gave a wink. “we’ll be out the way, this is for Heidi's school not gossip report”
“More like to report on Morg- Mmmph!” Howard's mouth was silenced shut by his sister.
“You're so supportive Howie” Heidi smiled mischievously.

Morgan wasn't in the mood to be eating, how could she eat with all the buzz happening around! Cunningham better than her? What a joke. She’d heard their little whispers, their giggles, their awe.
It makes her sick.
“That shoob Cunningham” she grumbled, holding her whistle.
“He was spectacular you've should've seen it”
What was that she heard? Morgan paced backwards towards the front office. She wasn’t snooping, if she didn't get caught. Morgan put her ear next to the door for a better listen.
“Randall is good,” said Principal Slimovitz, voice light but certain. “Better than Morgan.”
Morgan froze. Her throat went dry.
Morgan felt the world spin slightly beneath her shoes. She couldn’t believe what she just heard. Better than her?! HER!
Replace her for that idiot! Toss her aside like trash.
Just like that?!
Her knuckles tightened around the whistle. She backed away from the door like it had burned her, nearly stumbling in her boots
★
“Yes Randall is better but unless we want another Hensletter situation we should refrain from replacements” Miss Wickwhacker said cautiously.
“Hmm.. well you do have a point there” Slimotviz replied.
★
“How could they do this to me?!” Morgan screamed. “Don't they know how much I sacrifice for the squad!?”
“You're right”
What was that?!
A soft green mist rose from a nearby air vent. It spread like fog, snaking through the hallway unnoticed.
“who are they to judge your skills? Toss you aside like that?,” whispered a voice quiet and cruel.
Morgan staggered back, slamming against the wall. “W-who said that?”
“They used you when it was convenient. Now that they have their new prodigy… they’ll toss you aside. Like they did to so many others. You are not the one who failed,” the voice coaxed.
“They failed you. It’s time you reminded them who truly leads this school.”
The green mist flew inside her whistle and Morgan fell to her knees.
The air grew thick. Her vision blurring. Her body trembled, mostly her back like something was exploding.
Her fingers grew long and hairy. Pointy
Her neck expanding, body stretching. Her ears shifted on top of her head, turning furry.
When Morgan stood up again, she wasn’t herself anymore.
Her eyes glowed yellow, her whistle now fused on her fuzzy long neck.
“I’ll show them who's bzzzt better” she buzzed in fury.
★
Before Randy went to the locker room he needed a quick bathroom break to lift up his spirits!
“Alright, Cunningham,” he pump himself up, slapping his cheeks. “You’re the cheese! You're gonna blow them away!"
BZZZT BZZZT
The NinjaNomicon vibrated in his bag.
“Ugh… really? Now?” Randy questioned. The nomicon buzzed at him again.
He sighed. “You know what, fine, maybe something in there can help me” he went inside the last stall on the left, crack opening the mystical book
SHLOOMP!
He dropped like a ragdoll to the toilet, vanishing into that ethereal dojo space once more.
★
Inside the gym echoed the rhythmic sound of batons tapping the polished floor. The majorette squad, moved in near-perfect formation under the critical gaze of Miss Wickwhacker.
Theresa was at the front, trying to help the girls perfect a synchronized spin. Unusually Morgan was late and so was Randy so she was the third best option
“You're doing perfect ladies!” Miss Wickwhacker shouted.
Bzzzt.. bzzzt
“Does anyone hear a buzzing sound?” Audrey says
“Probably just the vents” Nicky replies
Bzzzt bzzzt. There it goes again!
“Okay,” said Blake. “That’s not normal.”
Suddenly something dropped from the ceiling. A blur of fur, wings, and stripes slammed into the ground at the far end of the court. The girls screamed.
Towering before them was a horrifying hybrid of wolf and bee. It stood upright, covered in thick, bristling golden-black fur. Two twitching antennae poked from its head, and translucent wings buzzed violently behind it. Its eyes glowed with an unnatural red light. Long claws clicked against the gym floor. But what chilled everyone to the bone… was the whistle.
A silver whistle hung around the monster’s neck, not on a cord but embedded deep into a ruffled, fuzzy mane of fur like a badge.
The creature’s head tilted, slowly.
No one recognized her.
Not yet.
“Everyone Run towards the exit slowly” Miss Wickwhacker barked.
The girls tipped toed quietly, towards the exit. The floor creaked with each step, the girls trudged softly.
Halfway there
CLANK
A baton clattered on the floor.
“Oh no” Demi whispered.
The creature leaped and when Demi tried to run, the monster was quicker. Its stinger jammed into her leg, and with a shriek she was yanked upward, disappearing into the sky.
Screams broke out. The group scattered in every direction, but there was nowhere to go the doors were locked, sticky waxy strands webbing over the handles.
One by one, the girls were picked off.
Audrey, Ashley, Nikki, Chelsea, Emma, Erica, and Blake
Miss Wickwhacker swung her clipboard like a weapon only to be silenced by a thick glob of wax to the mouth and then hoisted into the air.
Principal Slimovitz burst in through the side gym doors, shouting, “What in the name of AHHH-?”
He didn't finished.
The creature swooped in and taken him too.
Only Theresa remained.
she sprinted through the swoops, honey and batons. To make it to the door.
She grabbed the push bar.
Nothing
She shoved it with all her weight. No movement. Then something togged the back of her sash. And pulled her.
“No—NO!” she screamed, grabbing the handle with her life, but it wasn't enough.
She disappeared into the sky. Letting one last scream of terror.

“Why am I wearing this?” Howard had on a bright yellow and blue letterman jacket that didn’t fit him, didn’t suit him.
“You said I’d be holding the camera. Not joining the pep squad.”
“If we are going inside with PFI (Professional trained individuals) we have to look the part Howard” Heidi said, fully dressed in a majorette uniform she had absolutely no business wearing.
“Now remember: be natural, stay in frame, and if Morgan does anything zoom in on her”
Howard sighed deeply and followed, muttering,
“Why did I ever agree to this”
Heidi open the door and nothing. “What the?”
“What's the matter?”
“The door it won't hnng!” She huffed, pulling harder. “Won't budge”
She braced a heel against the frame and gave it a heavy shove with both hands. The metal creaked but held firm.
Howard stepped up beside her, furrowing his brow.
“Did they lock it from the inside?”
“The doors don't do that Howard,” Heidi muttered, knocking now. “Thesey feasy? Miss W? Morgan? Open up! It’s me! Your girl!”
No answer.
“Maybe you're not as popular as you thought” Howard snickered
“Shut up Howard” Heidi frowned, trying to peek through the diamond window. “I can’t see a thing… it’s all dark in there.”
“Like power outage dark?” Howard asked.
“Yeah.”
The younger weiner-sib ear twitched
“…That’s weird,” he muttered.
“What?
“I hear bees…no” he pushed his sister out the way, his ear close to the door. “A wasp?”
“How do you hear a buzzing? I can't hear anything”
Howard squinted again. This time his nose twitched.
“Do you smell that?”
Heidi sniffed. “What? Your breath?”
“No.” His expression shifted. “Honey.”
They both looked at each other.
“Honey? Why would the gym smell like honey? What's going on with your sensey lately”
“Sensey isn't a word Heidi” Howard groaned. “This is gonna take some elbow grease” he said, pulling up his sleeves.
“What are you doing?” Heidi asked, stepping back.
“Getting us in.”
He backed up a few paces, planted his feet, and charged!
“HYAHHH!”
BOOM.
The door swung inward on a trail of sticky golden strands that stretched like chewed gum, then snapped with wet little slaps.
Heidi gagged behind him. “Ugh what is that smell?! What happened!”
The gym was covered in gross slabs of golden sticky goo. It smelled like rotten honey.
Heidi’s feet was all sticky, ruining her boots.
“…Where is everybody?” she whispered. “Howard?”
Her brother didn't say anything and it was scaring her.
“What's wrong?”
“Look” Howard said faintly, pointing above.
“What-” She stared at the ceiling and she couldn't believe what she saw. Her new phone dropped into the sludge.
“Oh. my. cheese”
★
SHLOOMP!
Randy's body shifted back into the mortal realm, his head spinning.
“Ughhh… seriously?” he groaned, holding his forehead. “you couldn’t eject me nicely this time?”
What time is it? Randy shook his head and looked at his phone. Oh no he was late!
He had been gone way longer than expected. Practice had already started probably ended! He hopes he didn't miss everything!
He ran out the bathroom pushing towards some students.
“Oh man oh man oh man Theresa is gonna think I ditched! Miss Wickwhacker is gonna kill me! And Morgan!” He tapped his chin. “I don't wanna know what she'll do to me!”
As he rounded the corner and went toward the boys’ locker room, he yanked the handle
CLINK. CLUNK
It didn’t budge.
Randy frowned, yanking harder. “What the juice? It’s locked?! But how it never locks from the inside- why is his hand sticky?
Randy squinted, looking down.
His hand was covered in a thick smear of golden gunk, stretched between his fingers.
“Shnasty! What is this..”
He sniffed it.
“How in the hay did honey get here?”
He wiped his hand off on his pants. Big mistake. Now his pants were sticky.
“Well that was dumb”
Something tells him that something is wrong here. His ninja senses are tingling and the clock was ticking to ninja O clock!
“It's go time” He said determinaly.
After a few seconds of transforming the ninja burst through the door. only to slip on something thick and sticky coating the floor.
“WAUGH—!”
He feet in a puddle of honey. The goop squelched against his suit, hot and clinging like caramel-glazed slime.
“WHAT THE JUICE!”
The ninja felt like he was going to throw up, why is there honey everywhere! So gross!!!
“Ninja…look” Howard whispered.
The Ninja did.
And he wished he hadn’t.
The majorettes, Theresa, Miss Wickwhacker and Slimotviz was hanging from the ceiling. Tattered in a sticky, dripping prison.
The Ninja’s eyes widened behind his mask.
He could barely speak.
“This is so honkin wrong…” he cursed
The bee she wolf thing came from the vents and buzzed, its claws clicked against the metal, the whistle covered in its ruffled mane, its red eyes fixed entirely on him.
“Alright,” Ninja muttered. “Bring it! Shewolf wasp..bee Thing!.”
He slid his twin katanas free and burst forward.
Or tried to.
His feet stuck again, just long enough for the bee-wolf to react with incredible speed.
So fast he couldn't even blink. Claws grazed his side.
“Ow!”
Okay he wasn't ready now he can focus-
He swung again but the beast clawed his back.
Alright this time he can-Too slow?.
The creature clawed his knees
“Oww!!” The ninja wailed, dropping his katanas to hold his knee.
“That thing is kicking you ass Ninja!.” Howard shouted across the gym
“I know!” the ninja replied
He holstered the katanas back into the sheaves. They were too heavy. He needed speed.
He reached into his ninja belt and drew ninja rings. They were lighter and most importantly faster.
He narrowed his eyes, looking at the right spot.
Then
“NINJA RINGS!!”
They cut through the air like boomerangs, but the monster dodged.
“What the juice?! Your faster than the rings?!”
The hero tried again and again but the thing kept dodging. It landed on the scoreboard behind him, eyes glowing brighter now, wings twitching.
The Ninja turned just in time to dodge a swipe barely.
The claws held his sleeve then threw him across the gym.
He landed on the sticky wall, he couldn't move.
“Oh boy..”
Heidi and Howard were hiding behind the bleachers.
“The ninja is getting totaled out there” Howard hissed, but a thought suddenly came to his mind.
“Hey why- isn't the thing attacking us? We're right here”
“How am I supposed to know?” Heidi replied just as confused as her brother. “It's like we're invisi- wait!
Heidi looked at the bee thing closer, she caught on to something her brother could not.
“What?”
“Howard get the camera”
“WHAT?!” He shouted “YOU REALLY WANT TO LIVE STREAM NOW REALLY!? THE NINJA IS FIGHTING FOR HIS LIEF AND YOU WANT TO-
“SHUT UP!” She shouted back. “It's not for gossip report!”
“Then what for?”
“For you to zoom in on that thing fur neck!” Heidi pointed.
Howard had no idea what she's planning but whatever, he got out the camera and zoomed in on the bee-wolf thing’s mane.
Heidi looked over at the phone. “Just what I thought”
“What?”
“That whistle” she tapped on the screen
“What about it?” Howard questioned.
“That's Morgan’s majorette whistle she only wears that when she's cheering, so that monster is her”
“WOW! I didn't know she could be stanked.. thought that girl had nerves of steel”
“So did I” Heidi said sadly “she's still mh”
“What” howard said flatly.
“Majorly hot”
“Ew”
The stanked Morgan was a few fear away from ninja. Charging up for something that isnt pretty.
“Uh..Guys,” the ninja whimpered. “I need some help here.
“So figured that thing is Morgan and that doesn't explain how she ignored us” Howard raised his eyebrow,
“Well actually it does. We're Weinermans” Heidi said proudly
“Point is?”
“We're nothing to her, she pretends we don't exist”
“Meaning?”
“Meaning that we're not on our radar we're safe”
“THAT'S GREAT BUT HOW WILL THIS HELP ME!” The ninja shouted at them
“Uh..I dunno” Heidi shrugged.
“Well that's great” Howard replied sarcastically
The stank morgan flew at the ninja at full force
“OH JUICE!” The ninja screamed.
“WHOOP WHOOP WHOOPPIE! WHOOP WHOOP WHOOPPIE”
A sharp, violent, annoying ringing noise cut through the gym. It was like an annoying alarm.
“HEIDI I THOUGHT YOU DELETED THAT RINGTONE!” Howard shouted at his sister, covering his ears.
“Sorry I forgot!” She screamed back covering her own ears at the sound. “I'll turn it off-
“NO!” The ninja cut her off. “Look!”
The creature was screaming, covering it's ears. It dropped to all fours, twitching and spasming.
“HEIDI KEEP IT ON!” the ninja demanded
“BUT IT'S SO ANNOYING!” The metalhead whined, covering his own ears.
“TOO BAD MY FRIEND!” the ninja teared himself from the honey binds, weak from the high frequency. “TOO BAD”
He launched forward, finally free from the honey.
He kicked himself off the wall. A clean spin kick slammed into the beast’s midsection, knocking it off balance.
It shrieked again, disoriented. Another blast of sound from Heidi’s phone sent it clawing at its ears, stumbling backward into a pool of honey.
And the ninja stood in front of it. His eyes on the whistle in her hairy coat
“NINJA SLICE!” He teared through the shiny object, breaking into small pieces. Green mist disappearing into the vents.
Morgan's limbs twitched and shaked in multiple ways until transforming her back to normal.
Her hair was a mess, make-up smeared and covered in gross honey.
“What happened?” She said in a daze.
The honey coating the ceiling liquefied, and everyone suspended above woke up.
“How did I get up here?” Slimovitz questioned
“I feel like I'm going to barf” Demi said.
Theresa boot fell on the ninja's head. “Sorry ninja!”
“It’s no prob-
Suddenly one by one, the honey keeping everyone suspended vanished. Everyone started to fall from the ceiling!
The ninja pranced around. “Oh juice! Think ninja think! They're falling but there's tons of them what can I do what can I- oh duh!”
He whipped the long red scarf off his neck and tied it to one of the bleachers. But it wasn't wide enough!
“This can't hold!” An Idea pop inside his head. “Weinermans! I need your help!”
Heidi and Howard gasped, mostly Howard. “The ninja need us! THE NINJA NEED US!” Howard screed
“And you say I'm dramatic” Heidi pouted.
“Squash all that” the ninja replied. “Get the other sides of the awesome scarf and pull!
Heidi darted to one end of the scarf, immediately grabbing the flowing fabric and stretching it. Howard, of course, took the end next to the ninja
“So..you free this weekend?” The metalhead asked, flirtatiously
“uhh no..” the ninja replied, uncomfortably
“So that's a yes?”
“Yes for wha-”
They were cut off by the screaming above. One by one, the hive victims bounced onto the makeshift safety net.
Slimovitz, hugged Wickwhacker close to him even though they were okay now.
“Slimotviz..GET OFF ME!” the music teacher commanded
“OH!” he let go. “Sorry”
Theresa was the last one to land, her head was spinning and the ninja scarf managed to get on her face.
“Mmbhhph—?!”
“Hang on!” the Ninja called, completely ignoring Howard.
He peeled the scarf away from her face.
“You’re safe now,” the Ninja said calmly, helping ease her upright with a gentle grip on her wrist and back.
“Thanks ninja” Theresa blushed, “Are you always so Bruce?”
“Yup totally!”
Howard's brow twitched, he gripped the scarf so tightly that it was burning slightly.
“Pretty sure she’s fine,”he muttered under his breath.
Heidi elbowed him. “What’s your damage?”
“Nothing,” he said stiffly, looking away.
As the ninja stood up to move away, Theresa looked around.
“…I hope Randy’s okay”
“I'm pretty sure he's good” the hero coughed.
“Oh that’s good,” she sighed, not even looking at the Ninja anymore.
“Well looks like my job is done!” The ninja proudly proclaimed “SMOKE BO-Wait!” He went over to the Weinermans and took his scarf back.
“Thank you! SMOKE BOMB!”
The ninja left a large cloud of red and black smoke leaving the whole gymnasium in a nasty funk even the sprinkles came off.
“I will never not hate that” Heidi coughed.
“GET THIS NASTY STUFF OFF OF ME!” Morgan shouted
“Morgan?”
Morgan struggled to get up, she slipped on the honey and landed into another puddle. “This is the worst day of my life”
“Here, grab my hand” Heidi reached gently.
Morgan, dazed, squinted at her rescuer. “Thank-…”
As soon as she saw the familiar ginger hair and the freckles the queen bee eyes widen.
“Ewww! It touched me!” The girl shouted. “LADIES GET THE HAND SANTIZER!” She barked out to her still dazed dancing fish.
“Don't just stand there! DECONTAMINATE ME!”
The group scrambled to their leader call, obeying her.
Here Morgan!” Audrey misting her with lemon-scented sparkle disinfectant.
Chelsea handed her a towel. “Here, dab your feelings away.”
Nikki and Demi fixed Morgan’s hair.
Emma started to fan her “Here's some air”
Heidi just stood there.
Blinking.
“…That’s what I get for caring,” she muttered.
Howard walked past and pat here shoulder gently. “You’ll get her next time”
“Thanks Howard”
“Or probably not”
“Hey!”
Some Time Later
Most of the honey had been cleaned out the gym as well as the fart smell.
Randy placed the Nomicon back in his satchel, letting out a yawn. He brushed honey off his jacket, trying to look like a guy who hadn’t just fought a bee wolf thing.
He was halfway down the hallway near the gym when
BAM.
Someone bumped into him.
“Agh!” Randy stumbled, catching himself against the lockers. “My bad didn't look where I was-
It's Theresa.
She stood awkwardly, her ponytail a mess, majorette uniform slightly teared with a smudge of honey on her cheek. “Randy?” she blushed. “where have you been?
“Trapped in the boys locker room” he looked away, nervously.
“Oh really?”
“Yup the monster snuck up on me but you know I wasn't scared” he played off. “So whatcha doin?”
“Looking for a mop, Miss Wickwhacker said the janitor went home early and we need all the extra hands we can get to clean the gym”
“Oof,” Randy winced. “Tough break.”
She smiled. “It’s fine. Honestly, everything’s cool now.”
“Wait everything? What happened to the whole… bee situation? Is it gone?”
She laughed. “You missed it?”
Randy nervously rubbed the back of his neck. “I mean… I was trapped in a the locker room”
“Oh yeah, the ninja handled it. Turns out it was morgan”
“You don't say?”
“She had a major melt down, she thought she was being replaced but Principal Slimovitz and Miss Wickwhacker told Morgan that she wasn’t being replaced by you it was a misunderstanding.”
Randy made a face. “That explains a lot.”
“Guess they didn't want another Bucky situation”
“Hey, that’s totally cool,” Randy grinned. “I’m not really about leading a pack of baton-wielding warriors anyway. I’ll stick to what I’m good at” he spun his baton and threw it in the air but it fell and wonked him on the head.
“Ow..” he rubbed his head.
Theresa giggled.
Randy smiled and noticed her boot was missing.
Theresa’s face flushed. “Oh it’s nothing! I… kinda lost my boot earlier when I fell. I think it’s still… on the ceiling” She looked sheepishly down at her socked foot.
“Oh no I think I got it!” He got out a sticky dark plum boot from his bag.
“I found it!”
“My shoe” she whispered.
Randy immediately backtracks. “Well after I got free I..uhh found it in the vent?” He nervously smiled, “Just, uh—hold still.”
He slid the boot carefully onto her foot.
“There!” He smiled “I'm Bruce am I right?”
Theresa just stood there.
“Theresa?”
“You..put my..shoe on..Ahh hahahaha” she fainted, landing flat on the ground saying a bunch of mumbo jumbo.
Randy froze, having no idea what to say. “What the juice?”
