Chapter Text
It started out a nice date. Katsuki, Shoto, Eijiro, and Izuku were enjoying their food at a sea food restaurant that was told to have perfect sushi. The four of them laughed and talked all night until curfew and had to go back into the dorms. Everyone felt fine, just tired from their enjoyable night. Until two of the four started to show signs of being sick. Since the four were having a sleepover in Katsuki's dorm, the other two could tell when Izuku and Eijiro began to feel sick. First it was Eijiro, whom it started off with a small stomachache, then it was Izuku, who curled into a ball and tried not to whine at how bad the pain was.

"H-hey Katsuki?" Kirishima's voice was wobbly and slightly filled with pain, and Katsuki immediately looked down at Eijiro.
"Yeah? What's wrong Eijiro?" Katsuki's voice was filled with concern, and he wasn't even trying to hide it.
"I think whatever food I got was bad." Eijiro sighed, feeling a small but noticeable feeling of nausea crawling up his throat.
Katsuki immediately sat up from his bed, knowing that Izuku and Shoto had decided to sleep on the floor. Neither of them liked the feeling of being trapped. Or at least that's how they explained it.
"You think you're gonna throw up? Do you need Tylenol? I'll go get you some water." Katsuki threw on a pair of pants and went out to the kitchen to get some water for Eijiro. Coming back with crackers and water, and putting them on his bedside table.
"Here. I'll go get something for the pain." Katsuki was certainly worried, Especially since he knew that Eijiro was sensitive to certain foods. He's seen it before, once from Lunch Rush's Teriyaki Rice day. No one else seemed ill afterwards, but Eijiro threw up for almost an hour after classes.
"Man, I'm sure I won't throw up. This feels different. It's probably just digesting weird." He pauses, letting out a long sigh. "But I could go for some Tylenol."
Katsuki nods. "Of course. I'll be right back." Katsuki went into his closet, which had a medicine stash. The only person in class 2A who wasn't aloud to have their own medication was Izuku. Katsuki knew, but no one else did.
“Thanks..” Eijiro nods and waits on the bed, sitting up and taking a slow sip of water in order to not upset his already angry stomach more.
Katsuki returned with two tablets and a cold washcloth, just in case Eijiro wanted one. He could never be too careful when taking care of his boyfriends, because of how worried he actually is about them.
Izuku and Shoto were still sprawled out on the floor; they had similar sleeping patterns movement wise. When they got into a good sleep, they would move. Izuku would often starfish and Shoto would roll over several times from his pillow and end up getting up in the night because of the pain in his neck. They were seemingly unaware of the tension unfolding between Katsuki and Eijiro as Eijiro takes the medicine with the water and lays back down.
“Just try to sleep, alright? The other idiots aren’t in the way to the bathroom, that bad, if you needed to go.” Katsuki looks at the two on the floor then back at Eijiro who was trying to fall back asleep, hoping the medicine would kick in soon and this would not escalate beyond just an off feeling early in the morning.
Before long, Eijiro was able to fall back asleep, though it was evident that he was still in pain while he slept. ‘Damn sushi’ Katsuki thinks to himself as he settles back into the bed, making sure not to wake Eijiro as he turns off all his alarms.
For a while, the night seemed to keep going steadily. The clock reached 2:00AM. It was lucky Katsuki had remembered to turn off his and Eijiro’s alarms, because if he forgot his own, the alarm clock would’ve buzzed loudly, signaling that Katsuki would be up in a few hours. He liked to do the trick where he had multiple alarms set so it was easier to wake up when he needed to. Kirishima and Shoto understood, but Izuku was always lost on it.
“Why wake up three hours early when you could spend that time still asleep?” He would say, never fully getting it. Frankly, Katsuki didn’t either, but it helped him most nights, so he kept it on. And it kept working.
Izuku rolled over, disturbing Katsuki’s half asleep state. He almost thought right away that it was just a normal movement in the night, but as another shift happened within minutes, he knew that was not the case this time. Katsuki considered leaving it alone for a moment, as sometimes Izuku would wake up briefly and try to get comfortable enough to fall back asleep. Once again, his suspicions were turned down, as Izuku’s breath caught in his throat. This time, Shoto was already holding him, rubbing his back.
“It’s okay. Just breathe.” Shoto whispered, his voice calm but obviously still worried about what was happening to his partner. Izuku tensed as another wave of pain hit him, almost making him gasp. He curled up tighter, arms digging into the sheets.
“What’s going on?” Katsuki’s voice cuts through the tension. His only goal is to find out what was wrong and fix it. Izuku had a high pain tolerance, to most things anyways. So when they saw him like this, curled up in pain and trembling on the floor, they can’t help but be worried.
“He woke up a bit ago, I can’t get much out of him, but it’s something with his stomach.” Shoto replies, trying to stay calm for the sake of Izuku, who was white as a sheet. “He doesn’t want to take anything, in case he can’t keep it down. I don’t think he’s thrown up yet, since when I was woken up he was already hurting.”
The silence is thick. The only sounds in the room are Eijiro’s soft snores and Izuku’s pained intake of breath.
“Eijiro wasn’t feeling good earlier, but not like this.” Katsuki said, making a swift decision to try to get him to drink water. If anything, he could throw up and maybe feel a bit better, right? “I just gave him some Tylenol and he fell back asleep. And you know how sensitive he is.” Katsuki sighs, running a hand through his hair before returning with a small cup of water and a bucket.
“Are you sure?” Shoto says, worry pouring off of him in waves. “It could make him sick, or feel even worse.”
Katsuki cuts him off, even though it’s more of a bated breath in between what Shoto said. “We have to try. If he throws up, he might feel better too. But it’s up to you, ‘zuku. You feel like you can at least try?”
The question lingers in the air, as Izuku’s will to get the pain over with wins out.
“Okay..” he murmurs, his hands shaky as Shoto helps him sit up.
AHH GOING TO BED FINISH TOMORROW!!
