Summary:

Shiloh Warren is a weird person. Like, really weird. They've always known they were different from the people around them, and ever since their father passed away a year ago, they have no reason to pretend to be normal. When they start coming across evidence that Jeff the Killer --the main focus of their true crime obsession since they were a teenager-- may be in their town, they can't resist the opportunity to seek him out.
Jeffrey Woods is a weird person. Like, carves-up-his-own-face-every-couple-of-months-with-a-kitchen-knife weird. But after being basically kidnapped by a "fan" of his serial killing career, he's decided that he's definitely not the weirdest person around.

Hey all. I've decided to try and turn this OC/canon ship that I've been brewing in my head for the past few months into an actual fic, because fuck it, why not? This isn't a Jeff the Killer/Reader story, but rather a ship with a developed OC. So, there won't be any use of Y/N, E/C, H/C, etc. Shiloh, the main character and Jeff's romantic interest, already has a name and traits. Sorry if this makes the story harder to put yourself into! If you absolutely must, you can always paste the chapters into a Google doc and search-and-replace Shiloh's name with your own, haha.

I already have some plot and general lore/concepts planned out for this story, which can all be found in this masterdoc. Be warned, this document contains spoilers for the overall trajectory of Jeff and Shiloh's relationship. Proceed at your own risk, or you can wait to read it until after you've finished reading a certain amount of the fic itself (I'll put an author's note at the beginning of the chapter when the fic catches up with everything discussed in the doc! I might be able to fit it all in one chapter, not sure yet). In the meantime, feel free to check out JeffLoh's Pinterest board, which is spoiler free!

One quick disclaimer: I write Jeff probably pretty differently to how he's often portrayed. I don't see this as "OOC", since his canonical character traits are pretty much just "crazy" and "has a knife", but it may be different from what you're used to. Hopefully you'll still find it to be an enjoyable interpretation of the character!
